I loved these shoes. However, I'm not sure if I had a defective pair. Luckily, Zappos' amazing customer service took them back. But chunks peeled off the sole early on and then the stitching between the leather and the soles totally gave way. I've never had a pair of shoes do that before.

It has the nicest and sleekest profile of any chukka I have owned. The leather though is quite thin and already noticeably creases and wrinkles even with just one wear. Not much ankle support or shock absorption. A very fashionable shoe and worth the money, but definitely not for hard use or inclement weather.

Stitching issues on the heel after 4 wears which doesnt feel like a good sign compared to other boots I own. Really just wanted a refund though the support team offered to repair them. These rank at the bottom of my options.

Hi guys - I am sure these are great shoes for the casual user. I purchased them for a specific work event where I was on my feet for two days. They now look like 5 year old shoes. A little disappointing.

But not as comfortable as i hoped

I wore this one day in Rome. Granted, it was raining, but the were soaked inside and out by the time I got home. Water came from the bottom up.

This is a hypothetical post, since I never actually received the shoes I ordered. I had Emilio LE chukkas until I literally wore through the sole from wearing them everyday. Hence why I ordered new ones. Honestly, great summer/fall boots. Not so much in winter as they aren't that waterproof or have good traction on wet/snow conditions. Still solid choice if they are able to ship the ones you ordered and paid for in advance.

First the shoe is beautiful. But I basically cant wear them anywhere because the leather makes so much noise and its been that way straight out of the box. Even after a few weeks of owning them its awful. With the slightest twitch of the shoe they are terribly squeaky. Its a shame too because the times Ive worn them out to work Ive received many compliments on the look and quality of the shoes.

The quality of the leather was great and looks of it was awesome. But my left foot heel kept hurting after trying them on. Had to return them but would like to get one of their shoes in the future

Doesnt fit good, even after receiving and trying 2 sizes. The shipment is too slow too. Replacement wasnt initiated until I followed up.. Not impressed.

This is a six month review of the Emilio in black. This was my first purchase from Nisolo, and I really wanted to like the boots, and also them as a company. They looked great when they arrived and I did get a lot of compliments on them. The only issue out of the box was that the laces were about 12 longer than they should be, and were made of a material that wouldnt stay tight when tied. No problem, easy fix. I was skeptical of the price point for top grain leather, and apparently for good reason. After around two months of regular wear they started to develop cracking along the toecap. Then pretty soon after that parts around the toecap and vamp also warped and bulged out, while the cracked parts spidered further and sunk down, defeating the purpose of a boot thats made to look elegant. And yes I did condition them on a monthly basis. It didnt help. After four months it kept getting worse. I deemed them too damaged to be presentable, and theyve been in my closet ever since. This is the shortest lifespan Ive ever had on anything Ive worn on my feet, and a pretty big disappointment from a company I was hoping to be a longtime customer of.

These boots are beautiful, and they dont last very long. While I loved them out of the box, after roughly 12 months theyre now nearly unwearable. In the first month the stitching on the back of one boot came undone. Theres now a split down the back that looks like an open zipper. After wearing 2-3 times per week they lost form in about 2-3 months and now look fairly frumpy. The leather soles are VERY thin. There are now two holes in the sole of each boot.

I have like 3-4 pairs of Nisolo shoes, they are good shoes but my last two order I am really unhappy, their shipping sucks; I placed one order on 30th Dec. 2018 and another on 2nd Jan. 2019, still these orders are not delivered!!!

The shoe its self is great. But this picture misleads you to believe the color is lighter than it really is. Contacted customer service order another pair(full price w/free shipping) so I could keep The darker pair and still have this lighter color pictured. The 2nd pair of shoes arrived and it was the same dark pair as before.

Not sure if this is intentional, or my pair was just defective - but only the back heel appears to have any type of soling / grip. I've actually slipped a couple times wearing these cause of this. Also, this leads to water seeping through bottom of shoe if you walk outside after its rained, for example. Would be a great boot if not for this.

4th pair of your shoes, 1st since hurting my foot. No longer can wear your shoes as they are too narrow. I'll come back when you begin producing a wide size. THX for the great shoes

Bought the shoes and tried to break them in indoors, company refuses to accept return...

Been wearing for two weeks. I have huge blisters on my feet. It would be more comfortable to wear cylinder blocks lined with sandpaper. Literally the worst shoe I have ever worn.

I loved these shoes on-line, and even when opening the box - these boots look great. However, for the price, the quality was unsatisfactory. I only pulled one boot out of the box and knew withing seconds that this boot needed to be returned due to low quality. There was a crack in the leather of the heel, and the underlay (near the laces) protruded beneath the stitched leather upper. A beautiful boot, I wish i could have kept.

Quality of the shoe is good and size fit me as well. First, I wore the shoe inside the house, but didn't feel the discomfort. Later when I used it outside and walked for a mile, I started feeling pain in my heel. The problem is that there is not enough cushion for the heel that's why shoe is biting on the heel. Nisolo is also not returning the shoe. So, i ended up buying $200 trash. A buyer can see the product online, but cannot feel the comfort level of the shoe online. So, Nisolo should be prepared for the return.

After wearing the extraordinarily uncomfortable boots for a weekend, in July I developed heel pain so severe that I am still in medical treatment for it. Overall, would not recommend to a friend.

I used to be a happy customer of NISOLO, and my emphasise is on "used to" since i will be not be ordering or purchasing any of your products. And let me tell you why! 05/05/2016 I placed my order for EMILIO CHUKKA BOOT OAK through a friend in the US since they won't deliver in Pakistan. However, after much hassle I received the product after a while but to only discover that there was NO LOGO embossed on the product. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT!! I paid $178 for this shoe and this is what I get. I am sure I need not tell you guys the importance of a brand logo for the survival of a product, and it leaves me utterly disappointed to receive my product this way. I will leave this up to you about how you guys will make up for this, because I will not be ordering any product from now onwards. #NOTINMYNISOLOS Regards, Usman Khan Pakistan
