This backpack worked perfectly for my trip to Hocking Hills in Ohio. The size was perfect to hold everything I needed.

I bought this bag specifically for a trip to Canada & it was absolutely perfect for everything I did. I hiked many miles and it was just the right size-I could fit my personal items, snacks, ID/credit cards, water bottle and phone! I used this as my purse/bag for every occasion. So many thought out compartments make this a very useful bag without all the bulk!! Allows you to be hands free amd fits comfortably.

Great bag, very durable! I wish it was a tad bigger but great for carrying gym stuff.

I love this backpack and would give it 5 stars except the bungee cord broke after 1st use and custom service refused to send me a replacement bungee. Instead they wanted me to send on my entire backpack which would take too long for my planned trip. The pack itself is a great design, perfect doggie day pack. Water bottle holder could be a bit larger and bottom could be a little more flat to stand up when loading pack. Overall a great pack but not happy with customer service.

I really like the majority of this bag. I knew the dimensions when I bought it, but I wish it were a tiny bit bigger. The internal organizer pouch works well for small items and I like that it's fixed to the bag and doesn't flop around. The fleece lined front pocket is great for a phone. The large zipper pulls make the main pocket quick to open The external bungee can be used to hold really thin items, but there isn't a lot of room for bulkier items. The strap is comfortable, but it would be better if there was a way to adjust where the pouch sits across your chest. The bag seems well built. My main complaint is with the bottle holder on the side- this can be used for things like a telescoping fishing rod, but it barely works for a bottle. It's a tight squeeze to get a disposable bottle in there; forget about trying to get anything wider (even a narrow hydro).

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I have several of this sling bag. I like that it is small. It just fits a 20 ounce water bottle and an umbrella inside the main pocket along with some small miscellaneous items inside the interior slide pocket and zip pocket. The smaller zip pocket holds, though snugly, a phone. The bungee holds a thin or medium jacket. The bungee knot unknotted itself when pulled hard over a medium fleece jacket. The zip pocket on the strap holds keys.
It would be nice to have the smaller zip pocket be a little larger and with a top zip but that is a minor point. Overall, this is a comfortable bag and compares well to the Patagonia Atom (slightly larger and with a less useful side zip on the main compartment and straps instead of a bungee) and the Osprey Daylight which has nice top zip compartments but no zip pocket on the strap and no bungee.
I have handwashed the Borealis and it dries quickly and is no worse for wear. I wish TNF would make a similarly small sized backpack with a large phone pocket on the front of the strap since the one thing about a sling is that it is uneven on the body which can be uncomfortable over a long period of time.

This could use a few tweaks to make it great. First, where the strap is padded, some anti-slip on the underside would help for when you just want to throw it over your shoulder. The way it is now it slider off too easily. Second is the water bottle holder. Right now it is just a waste of fabric and elastic. It just way too small. I have not found a container yet that will fit inside it.
The size and interior layout are great. I also love how far it unzips for easy access.

Very well made bag with nice features all around. I wish the strap was longer for a man's chest. Additionally I wish the design was comfortable to throw over your shoulder. It's also just a little too small for the iPad. Good for skiing though.

Just purchased one for My friend and I because I needed a sling that was larger than my current one. Phenomenal product not a fan of the fact that the strap only let you wear it one way. Excellent size can fit multiple travel drinks, medication, wallet, keys, headphones and tobacco products all in one!

What I love most is how comfortable it is to wear, even for extended periods, thanks to the adjustable strap. However, the limited storage space... it's not ideal for carrying larger items or multiple belongings. Overall, it's a practical option for quick errands or day trips, but not for heavy-duty use.

Great bag. Needed the small size for travel purposes for keeping important items like passport and credit cards safe.

This bag is great for everyday use! You can use it to hold a wallet, pens, paper, toiletries, etc... If you have a mini iPad it will fit too.

Material, size, design details are made with the North Face quality we all love. The design flaw is that this can always only sit on one side vs. other brans you can switch from side to side. I have taken mine on many trips and been able to wash in cold, hang dry and it looks as perfect as the first day I bought it several years ago. Also packs well. Only gripe is this should be able to be worn on either side.

Fantastic little sling bag to carry all my essentials. I hate carrying purses and this is an excellent alternative.

Well made and practical sling bag. It looks good too. My only belly ache is that you can o my wear it from the right shoulder.

This bag is a 8/10. I prefer this bag over a fanny pack. The spacing is good and has good support. This bag helps carry all your essentials for day to day use.

I am using this bag to carry all my "things" (wallet, keys, epipen, phone, airpods, water bottle, etc) for life in NYC. I love that I can wear it across the front when I am in crowded spaces, and across my back all other times. It is functional, comfortable and all around a GREAT bag. I would highly recommend for travel, and for daily use as well.

The quality is great. However, the main reason I love this purchase is that it doesn't look like a man purse.

The color is exact to the picture. I would say this fits all your essentials keys, wallet, gloss small items and maybe a water bottle that is 8 -10 ounces definitely comfortable but if your a wider chest it may not sit on you as aesthetically pleasing compared to a smaller frame. overall love it so far

Though it's big length wise, not to roomy for high school books. Looks super cute though.
