Purchased for a friend as a gift. I thought the color & design are lovely and useful for hiking or walking. She really likes it.

Perfection in a bag! It reminds me to take only what I need and still has a place for a little bit of crazy! Great go bag for when I'm handling the two dogs stays on my shoulder and out of the way!

I wanted a bag to take to work with my badge, snacks, and a small notebook. This is perfect and holds enough essentials for the workday. The sling may be too short to fit larger bodies, though. I'm 6'2" and pretty slim and it's fairly sung across my torso at the longest setting. The only con for me personally is the side water bottle holder is too small to hold a water bottle, even a plastic .5L bottle is quite a squeeze.

I absolutely LOVE this sling. I've never owned any TNF bags or backpacks, but absolutely love to use them. My collections mainly designer, but after using this im totally going to be purchase some more of their travel/bag items. I wanted something that would be practical to haul my every day items, but also be somewhat stylish. Banff Blue is by far my favorite color, and its multiple pockets can hold all my Moleskine books phone keys wallet, the works! the only thing I would possibly consider changing or adding rather is the ability to adjust the side the should strap is on. A+++ otherwise!

The inside mesh pocket, which I love to use, makes items difficult to access on the go because when wearing the bag on my front side the zipper zips from the bottom up. If you know you know.

This is the perfect size bag for day trips. Enough space for the essentials in a compact bag. Access to all pockets without having to remove the bag is super handy.

The Sling was great for carrying misc items and wallets on a recent trip to Mexico. Was great for bike rides, exploring the resort and even out on the beach to keep sand off of items. I DO wish it was about 1/4 larger all around and the water bottle pocket could most certainly be larger along with the strap pouch.

I haven't used this yet, but am looking forward to it! It can hold a surprising amount, I plan to use it for theme park days. The quality is good and the variety of pockets is great

I got this to use for quick walks away from the car or house where I might need water, a snack, or different glasses and my wallet and phone. After several month of carried use, I've come to the conclusion it's about 2" too narrow for my needs. Here's why; The water bottle pocket is truly a joke, so my water bottle has to go inside taking up quite a bit of space. I use the water bottle pocket for my sunglasses case, which fits perfect. The shoulder strap has a stretchy pocket attached but it is way too small for anything other than a chapstick, one small bar, or hand wipes. No phone will fit. There is an exterior, chamois- lined pocket that fits my iPhone 16max, so that's good. Inside, the small mesh zip pocket is awkward to zip/unzip while wearing the pack slung around to the front. Awkward access for sure. By the time you toss a couple bars, or a sando in with the water bottle the pack is very hard to zip up. In fact I already busted the zipper pull one time trying. So, bottom line, it's a comfortable carry, but it needs to be about 2" wider so it zips up easily. Also, don't be fooled, if you drink water, at all, there is no suitable pocket and you'll need to put your bottle inside which uses up much of the room. @TNF, please make this a couple liters larger (wider) And redesign that inner zip pocket to zip the other way. Thanks.

I bought this bag specifically for a trip to Canada & it was absolutely perfect for everything I did. I hiked many miles and it was just the right size-I could fit my personal items, snacks, ID/credit cards, water bottle and phone! I used this as my purse/bag for every occasion. So many thought out compartments make this a very useful bag without all the bulk!! Allows you to be hands free amd fits comfortably.

I love this backpack and would give it 5 stars except the bungee cord broke after 1st use and custom service refused to send me a replacement bungee. Instead they wanted me to send on my entire backpack which would take too long for my planned trip. The pack itself is a great design, perfect doggie day pack. Water bottle holder could be a bit larger and bottom could be a little more flat to stand up when loading pack. Overall a great pack but not happy with customer service.

I really like the majority of this bag. I knew the dimensions when I bought it, but I wish it were a tiny bit bigger. The internal organizer pouch works well for small items and I like that it's fixed to the bag and doesn't flop around. The fleece lined front pocket is great for a phone. The large zipper pulls make the main pocket quick to open The external bungee can be used to hold really thin items, but there isn't a lot of room for bulkier items. The strap is comfortable, but it would be better if there was a way to adjust where the pouch sits across your chest. The bag seems well built. My main complaint is with the bottle holder on the side- this can be used for things like a telescoping fishing rod, but it barely works for a bottle. It's a tight squeeze to get a disposable bottle in there; forget about trying to get anything wider (even a narrow hydro).

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I have several of this sling bag. I like that it is small. It just fits a 20 ounce water bottle and an umbrella inside the main pocket along with some small miscellaneous items inside the interior slide pocket and zip pocket. The smaller zip pocket holds, though snugly, a phone. The bungee holds a thin or medium jacket. The bungee knot unknotted itself when pulled hard over a medium fleece jacket. The zip pocket on the strap holds keys. It would be nice to have the smaller zip pocket be a little larger and with a top zip but that is a minor point. Overall, this is a comfortable bag and compares well to the Patagonia Atom (slightly larger and with a less useful side zip on the main compartment and straps instead of a bungee) and the Osprey Daylight which has nice top zip compartments but no zip pocket on the strap and no bungee. I have handwashed the Borealis and it dries quickly and is no worse for wear. I wish TNF would make a similarly small sized backpack with a large phone pocket on the front of the strap since the one thing about a sling is that it is uneven on the body which can be uncomfortable over a long period of time.
