Foot pad hard on your foot - no or little cushion. Shoes are hot on your foot too Size good

Originally had this style Birkenstock but with leather strap and cork bottom…they don’t make them anymore and mine broke right before our trip to Cali/legoland. I’ve traveled with mine all over Europe and needed to replace them asap. This was the only one that had the same “flip flop” style like my old ones so I thought I’d give them a try. Wore them all day to legoland and my feet were only a slight bit sore at the very end of the night. These don’t have a much “cushion” as regular cork bottomed birks but still had enough arch support for my feet not to be killing me at the end of the day. I don’t prefer these over my old leather ones but they did do great at the beach and pool.

Needed a good pair of flops to wear by the water... Really wanted to love these because I liked the look, and they felt pretty comfy when I first put them on, but they did not fit comfortably when walking. There is a little lip on the end of the sandal, and each time I would take a step, my toes pushed on the lip which was very uncomfortable. It made the shoe feel too small. I contemplated sizing up, but decided against it because they actually fit length-wise; I had plenty of room, they were just not comfortable. I returned and purchased another style of Birkenstocks.

Fit true to size and seem very comfortable. Bought for my husband but returned. Description says men’s flip flop but they are definitely a women’s style flip flop.

Size up!! Very stiff not comfortable at all, returned!

After about 15 minutes the in between toe piece really hurts

I live in flip flops and I had high hopes for these but I got let down. They look and feel very cheap, they make too much noise when walking but the main problem for me is the toe post rubs the space between my toes and makes them very uncomfortable for me.

Just not what I was hoping for - the molded surface of the footbed was not comfortable, and since it is not leather and won't eventually form to your foot, I thought it best to return. Very lightweight, looks fine, but I found something better.

Nice looking shoe but uncomfortable in that it’s not soft and pliable.

Runs large, and the width is Reg (but seems even wider than other Reg). I have loads of Birks, in various styles and also Evas. These run quite big in width, length, and the straps are very loose, so much so that my feet kept slipping out of them. Had to return.

Unfortunately, I had the same problem as others. The post really hurt on my left foot in particular. I really like the style.

Fit like my other Birks in length and width. But unlike other Birks, you can't adjust the straps. The straps were way too big around the top of my foot. They're squishy and soft to the step. Not super stylish -kind of clunky. Ultimately returning though becuase the straps made me feel like they'd fall off when I walked.

The front lip is uncomfortable

Wanted to like these but the part between the toes was hard and uncomfortable

The toe post hurt my feet immediately. If you hold it sideways you can see it's slanted and presses down on your foot.

I was surprised at how flimsy these shoes were. However, they fit well and were comfortable.....for about 5 minutes. They have an embossed label inside the strap, against the instep of your foot. It rubbed my foot and was very uncomfortable! I'm sure it would rub a blister. Had to return them.

These fit true to size and were comfortable except the piece that is in between the toes is too thick for me. I have the same comfort issue with other Birk “thongs”.

I want to love these. I love the color, but they are definitely more narrow and longer than my usual Size 39 Regular Birkenstocks.

There is no cushion, they are lightweight plastic and were not comfortable. I can't imagine wearing them for more than an hour. They are going back.

The size 8 I ordered fit great and the feels very comfortable. I gave 3 stars because wearing them for an hour causes my lower back to hurt. I never experienced this before with a shoe and I certainly didn't expect it from a Birkenstock shoe.

I was thrilled to finally find a Birkenstock thong!!! A combination of my favorite brand and favorite summer style!! But the reviews I read and gleefully ignored where right. The Honolulu is impossible to wear due to the pain it produces between my toes! Please Birkenstock, fix this problem.

After reading many reviews, I sized up. The front fits fine, but there is a little too much room in the back of my foot. For what I'll use these for, it doesn't matter too much to me. Also, as others commented, the toe piece is stiff and not real comfortable. I've only worn them around the house to break them in and fully expect they will soften in time. The shoes offer moderate support-not real Birkenstock support. So overall, I don't recommend these. They're definitely steps up from usual flip flops, but not good enough that I'd purchase another pair.

Cute, but. Even though these have the same footbed as the Arizona, the lack of lateral support and the thickness of the toe thong made these uncomfortable. I'll stick to the Arizona.

Love the shoe but not comfortable.

I usually purchase the regular/narrow width in Birkenstock sandals, as I don’t have wide feet, but these were very narrow. The lavender color was adorable, but I am sending them back.
