These sandals are great for walking around and lounging on a hot day. However, if you plan on getting wet these sandals absorb a lot of water and get very squishy. Another critique worth noting, I have worn Birkenstock’s for years and I always have to go a size down when the style I want doesn’t carry a narrow width. If you are an in-between size or have narrow feet try sizing down. I found once I did that with these sandals they fit great and were super cute! I wish they had more colors because the quality of the sandal for the price is hard to beat!

I wanted to like these! I had worn leather Birks years ago that were so comfy. However, the toe "thong" is uncomfortable. I would prefer fabric. Other reviewers noted this, and I should have gone by their opinion. The actual footbed was nice, and wide enough for my wide feet. True to size. They are being returned.

Needed beach shoes and these fill the bill. May be a bit wide for normal Birk customers because they fit my wide foot perfectly! Pretty cute and seem like they will have some support even though they don't look like it.

Get shoe but the middle part really rubs your toes raw. There is definitely a big breaking in stage.

Very comfortable and lightweight. A little disappointed they are cracking near toe strap after a few weeks of wear.

So comfortable to wear when walking or when standing at my home office desk.

Had ordered multible sizes, so some were returned.

The toe separators hurt! Otherwise, love ‘em.

I wish I'd read the review about the crazy uncomfortable toe post. That is exactly what my problem with these flop flops is. In every other way they were totally comfortable but that toe post, I think it was designed to be a torture device. I have tons of Birkenstock shoes and sandals but these had to go back. Come on Birkenstock; fix this issue and I'll buy a pair in every color.

They fit exactly as my other Birks fit me in my normal size 39, though these are M and do not come in N. The footbed is narrow as I need it to be, but the straps are too loose, allowing for too much play between my foot and the shoe when I walk. Though I'm used to thong type sandals, the post is not comfortable. On the plus side, the shoes are extremely light, seeming to weigh nothing at all. Sadly, back they go.

These sandals are super cute flip flops, very well made, moderate arch support - not quite your regular Birkenstock’s footbed but still very comfortable. So why did I return them?? The toe post is too large and so uncomfortable it would make wearing them any length of time impossible!! If that could be fixed these would be perfect! Anthracite color was very nice. I was sorry to have to return. Too painful to wear!!

The size was perfect. The fit was not. They felt nothing like my other Birkenstock shoes. No arch at all. Cheap plastic looking.

I am middle-aged with random foot pain so I do aim for comfort-known shoes. I was looking for a pool/beach-side sandal for upcoming cruise travel. This was NOT it. There was nothing comfortable nor any texture to hold footbed in place = slip sliding away! Especially uncomfortable was the place where between the first and second toe - its bulbous bottom connection caused me pain with each step.

I like the style and feel of this slide. However, the thong between the toes is uncomfortable and not giving. Hopefully it will ease after some wearing and breaking in.

Great decision to order these Birkenstocks. They are comfortable and I’ll be wearing them very often. Thanks Zappos.

Very little foot padding. Shoes feel hard. Also they make your feet feel hot
