Very light weight and comfortable for a stylish dress shoe. Cost is high but the quality is too. I can wear them all day like Hoka's. And they are far more visually appealing.

These are great shoes! I have flat feet, so I choose shoes carefully. In this case, I bought my second pair, in a different color, a few days after the first. I love how they feel and I've had many compliments.

The quality of the shoe alongside the comfort is a great value. In my role at work I'm putting in 7-8k steps a day. These have been a game changer and I would recommend them to all. I measure a 15 N on the scale however the 14 M is spot on.

These Upton Plain Toe gray/blue soled shoes are sharp! I've only worn them once since receiving them, but I got several compliments on them. They look even better in person than online. Not only do they look great, but they are extremely comfortable too. I'll be looking to get the same pair in a different color next. Fit true to size, exactly like every other paid of J&M I own.

It's the perfect shoe for work or going out. All day comfort and perfect style. I have 7 pairs of J&M shoes. 4 of them are the uptown plain tow.

The best I've ever owned!

I really liked the stylish design with the soul being a dark blue and the matching shoe strings. When they arrived, i took them out of the box and put them on " they immediately felt good on my feet " no adjustment time. For me that is the most important part " even more so than the style. fortunately these shoes have both

I have 4 pairs and they are the most comfortable dress/casual shoes I own. The run generous in width and so I didn't need to go wide. Also if you buy make sure you spray with a waterproof spray before you wear them and they look great for a long time.

I love the style and timeless look of the Upton Plain Toe. Like the price for such a quality product and the wear these shoes deliver! Consideration for improvement: a heel with a little more give to provide even more comfort!

I have bought dozens of shoes from Johnson and Murphy. I even have two pair from 20 years ago along with shoes from 1 month ago.They are comfortable and made with the highest of materials. And I live the style of the upton.

everything I purchase on line or at the store is great. customer service is outstanding. I prefer in store shopping however on line is very good too.

Excellent shoe & Fit

I am incredibly impressed with the fit, finish, and craftsmanship of the Upton Plain Toe shoe! Having a wide foot makes it difficult to find a stylish shoe that fits as advertised. This shoe fits and looks exactly as advertised. My foot fits comfortably without any of those annoying pressure points around the pinky toe. The attention to detail in the finish is evident"the stitching is precise, and the materials feel luxurious. From the flexible sole to the soft interior foam, every aspect exudes quality. Whether I'm walking or standing, I appreciate the support and durability this shoe provides. Plus, multiple colleagues at work have commented on my shoes and asked where I purchased them. First purchase with Johnston & Murphy and I am so impressed with the quality and comfort!

I have never had a proper pair of leather tie up shoes. My grandfather only wears Johnston and Murphy and swears by their amazing line of footwear. He bought me a pair for my college graduation and I must admit, I am now a diehard advocate of J&M:heavy_heart_exclamation_mark_ornament:

Love the style and comfort

J&M remains one of very few quality manufacturers of quality shoes, etc. Their custom shop I've used before are my pride in dress shoes. One i ok f few supplying wide (E & EE) sizes. I've tried multiple others (Allen Edmunds, etc) and quality of J&M exceeds theirs in finish, stitching, soles and very importantly the lining for durability & comfort.
