Our twelve year old grandson has severe autism and because of this, he walks on his toes. 11 years of walking on toes has made the front of his feet very wide, and also very difficult to put on shoes. When Billy shoes came out with a wide high top last year, we were ecstatic. That, in combination with the zipper that made it easy to put his foot into the shoe, was a God-send. Where would we be without Billy Shoes? Barefoot year round! Thank you!!

Love this wdr version. Will be buying this version in the future. There are two inserts which is helpful since my son has slightly larger AFO on one foot.

My daughter is 8 years old and has been wearing AFOs for 6 years. Billy shoes are by far the best and most convenient shoes. Her newest AFOS have an insert which makes them even wider and the WDR high tops fit perfectly. She loves pink so I was so happy to have a pink option.

Bought these in kids 11 wide for my granddaughter. She wears AFO's They are perfect. Would like it if Billy's came out with more colors in the wide sizes. Wanted pink but your out of them. If you get more colors in the kids wide size I'll buy more for sure!

My Son Lovea his Billys footwear size 6 Kids he has bilateral clubfoot which makes these shoes his favorite these shoes compliment easy ware and style.

These shoes fit amazing, they look amazing and make getting my children ready sooo much easier.

My son wears smo's and these wide width shoes are the best to put on without any frustration. Zipper is so easy to use. I am so glad we tried them out. We measured his foot according to the instructions and very happy with the size.

We are new to buying AFO friendly shoes for a 3yr old. We ordered 2 pairs of billy high tops that were both way too big. So I read all the info on your website size chart etc. that made ordering the proper size for him much Easier :grinning: The advice to take out the insole made all the difference in getting the best fit!! We love e our new Billie shoes :heart:

I really appreciate these shoes I'm an adult with CP who recently started wearing AFO's again for the first time in 20 years. These WDR high tops are the only shoes I've found that fit really well. They are extra wide and extra deep with a tougher lining to help them hold up against AFOS. I also own the Joggers made by BILLY shoes and my orthotics person was able to trim my AFO so the joggers would zip (because they are the shoes I purchased for my initial fitting appointment.) So the joggers work but I had to size up one size because they're not extra wide... and they're not quite as comfortable (because the extra depth on the WDR high tops makes them the most comfortable AFO shoes I've ever worn.) I'm sad though because to be the colors offered in the WDR high tops combined with the more plan style of them makes them boring. I feel like persons living with disabilities forgo enough things and frankly, dang it, we deserve cute shoes!!!

Fit is great; very easy to take on and off, definitely more sturdy for orthotic wearers, and look stylish.

This shoes are pretty awesome, so much easier to put on with her braces :) I only wish the laces were a little longer on the wide sizes

I appreciate the ankle support. The comfort of Billy Footwear means so much to me.

My stepson loves them. They fit and are comfortable and he can zip them on in second, but they are durable enough to run around at school all day.

Fit great! Width is a great new option as well as the new prints! Looking forward to more prints in wide!

My son is a toe-walker and recently got an AFO, which is impossible to wear with any of his other shoes. Our PT recommended BILLY Shoes and they are a life-saver. We already have 3 pairs. So easy to slip the AFO in on the one side and I just remove the insoles to give a little extra space. I keep the insoles in on the other side, which helps to keep his gait more even. Thanks for creating these shoes that help my son stay active, even with this new challenge.

Fabulous footwear for my son who uses AFO's on a daily basis. The zip is the best invention ever!! Website very easy and quality of products outstanding. This our 4th pair and will continue to use going forward.

Having the wider shoe has made it so much easier to put the shoes over my son's braces. He wears two types and these shoes make the putting on process so much easier.

They work so well with my son's braces. So convenient with the whole top that unzips!

I purchased a pair of wide high tops for my granddaughter who has CMT. She loves the look and can put them on herself (for the most part). Thanks for designing these shoes for those that need them. -Jim
