I can open the box, put these on, and walk a mile. Best fitting, best supporting shoe I can find. My only worry is that it looks as if Johnston and Murphy may be phasing out the Tanner line. Say it ain't so.

Best comfortable shoe ever worn.

Everything as exoected: excellent quality, look and fit. Best comfort of any shoe I've ever purchased.

I walk about 5 miles a day, five days a week. Concrete, asphalt, gravel, water, and sand. These shoes held up. They FINALLY started to split on the soles and I am not mad about it. Kept the conditioned and shined and got well more than my money's worth out of them. About to buy my second pair. I hope and pray they stay available for a long time.

Good fit, very comfortable. The area I live in has a lot of gravel walking areas and these shoes handle it well all day long.

Excellent balance of cushion, stability and fit. The fit in particular is right, unlike some other sneaker like J+M shoes (ahem) probably made in Asia and too small

Great combination of balance performance and overall comfort being a salesman who walks around a lot the sole the shoe is designed to absorb and keep your foot comfortable and the fact that it's both wide with and regular with makes it suitable for all types of feet

The shoes are very comfortable and look great. However, they were a 1/2 size too big for me. I contacted customer service, who was excellent, and they helped me return the shoes for an exchange. In less than 10 days I had a new pair that fit just right. If I had any constructive criticism, it would be the laces could be an inch or so shorter but, that's nit-picking.
