I have three pairs of Holdens. This is only pair which is chewing achilles tendon big time. Very uncomfortable.

Like the look and comfort but they were too narrow with my orthotics so had to return and will try a bigger size

I returned them. Didn't like the style. Looked like old man shoes

They look great but give my son blisters .. very expensive and he most likely won't wear them again . Try them in the store this was a costly mistake .

I have the same size in a different finish and these are not like those! One foot is tighter than the other, and both gave me blisters from being unpliable on the back heel. I'll stretch them a bit and see if I can soften the heel as they look decent.

It doesn't fit; smallest 9.5 shoe I've ever tried. I gave it two stars for the look and the seemingly nice sole and the light weight.

I wear a 13 and the shoe is cut undersize. The shoe was very tight on my feet and I had to return them.

I have always worn a size 10.5 W Johnson Murphy size. This shoe was not correctly sized.

Wearing these shoes caused a lot of pain, bruising and soreness on the back of my ankle where the rigid back top of shoe rubbed it raw. They are poorly designed and constructed.

Ordered these in black and was expecting a white sole, since other instances of non-white soles on website are specifically mentioned in the description. These soles are gray, not white. Not clear from picture and not what I wanted at all.

I returned the shoes. They were not comfortable and the construction of the sole did not feel very high quality. The insole was not very substantial either. I ended up purchasing Ecco hybrid and was much happier. I suppose this shoe is a low cost substitute for an Ecco or Cole Haan hybrid but it misses the mark.

Seems like a well made shoe, but the fit as a bit too roomy for my narrow feet.

I recently bought two pairs of shoes from J&M both in the same size 8. One for perfectly but this one is way too tight. Had to stop wearing after a few days. Do not recommend!

I picked a pair these shoes up last year to put in the rotation, I probably wear them twice a month and I just noticed today around the ball of my both of my feet. The soul is separating from the top part of the shoe. Huge disappointment because I don't think this can be fixed.

I purchased 5 other shoes Freon JM and the size were consistently spot on. However, this particular model is not size 10.5M as stated on the order and marked on the shoes.

These are quite uncomfortable and they dig into my heel I wore them one day and I had blisters by the end of the day. There's NO cushioning on the back.

I bought 2 new pairs of Holden plain toe. The brown ones dig into the back of my heel/ankle and they are painful to wear. One of the black ones makes a popping noise with every step. I've worn them for a week with no improvement. Time for me to find a better brand.

I've worn them infrequently because they are so small and didn't want to completely waste my money. I waited beyond the return date to send them back.

I received this shoe as a gift. I'm wore them to work one day and quickly found out the cut hard at the ankle and back of the heel. I had to place bandaids along the ankle and heel/achilles line just to get through the day. Since they've been worn, I'm stuck with them. I may try again properly padded to see if they break in. If they don't, then I'm stuck with a worthless shoe.
