Great looking shoe. Unfortunately after 4 days of use, the sole liner on right shoe became unglued. Going to fix myself as one cannot return a shoe with "wear".
Father grew up wearing these shoes. As a 50 year old manager for a major county department I felt the shoe would be a great addition to my "look". And it has been, apart from the issue noted above.
Will take a hard look if I should buy future pair.
Hopefully no other quality issues.
Thank you.

The 10.5-B width fit my 10.5-C foot. However, the medial edge of the shoe put pressure on my foot. this may correct itself with wear - but I didn't chance it so I returned the shoe. customer service was friendly, polite and courteous. No hassel neither when ordering nor returning.

I am a legacy owner of Kenmoors. My original pair were given to me by my father in 1997 and were stolen in 2016 while on a leisure trip to the Caribbean. They didn't take my Edmunds. They knew quality when they saw it. I ordered another pair and love these shoes. My only gripe is the new made in India pair have inferior leather uppers compared to the originals, but they are still great shoes

The shoes are very sturdy and will take time to break in. The hard leather is why they last so long. However, the shoe laces constantly come loose regardless how tight I tie them. It would be better if they had waxed laces. Nevertheless, a great shoe!

This is my second pair of these which should say it all. However my first pair, took me many months to appreciate as they take a a while to break in. One they did , they became my go to daily shoes. Last about 10 years. Resoled once.

I used to have a pair of imperials that our Newfoundland puppy chewed up. I have finally purchased a replacement pair, and they are wonderful. I am a pastor, so on Sunday mornings I spend a significant amount of time on my feet, and it is nice to once again have a pair of shoes that doesn't hurt.

Shoes are nice but I didn't notice distinct dark border along edges of shoe,in picture. It runs around eye holes etc. giving the shoe a slightly different look than it would have other wise. I had to adjust to the subtle extra look. You have to look hard at the picture to see what I mean.
Also shoe runs a little large in the "E" configuration. I wear a 12, a 11 1/2 "E" or 12 "D" would have worked as well but I can live with the 12 "E"

The shoes are perfect and the style that I always enjoyed. The shoes are new and still somewhat stiff and still need to be broken in.

Love your Imperials. Thanks! Why no Five Stars? The burgundy I ordered is a bit darker than I expected. In fact when I first unpacked them, I believed the shoes to be black, but confirmed the color with the tags and under very, very bright lights. That said, the fit was so doggone perfect, I will overlook this very minor, almost petty, concern. Be well.

The shoe is well built, but somewhat stiff. It is not as comfortable as the better grade shoes which Florsheim used to make and were called the Royal Imperial. Those shoes were much softer and more comfortable when I would first start wearing them. They were also made with horse hides, instead of cow Heights

Bottoms are a little to stiff. I can't get them to bend at the ball of my foot

I missed my old wingtips. Now I got a new one but its not the same broken in feeling. I have been wearing wing tips since I was in high school True classic.

I have purchased this shoe in the past for work and absolutely love them once they are broken in and anticipate the same with this pair. They are extremely comfortable. The only issue this time is with the piece of material that starts from the heal to the middle of the foot on the inside bottom of the shoe. The glue did not take at the end of this piece and it is starting to curl back.

Countless complements from women on these kenmoors. Been wearing them for years in 3 different colors. If it only had a little cushion under the ball of the foot. Heel is comfortable. Best feature: the double thick/stiff sole... keeps your feet from getting tired. great for a lot of walking. looks like you mean business, literally.( All shoes today have thin flexible soles which are harder on your feet and look cheap.

The shoes are beautiful however they were a half size too big and I usually buy a half size smaller so that I can stretch the inside. I returned the pair and am waiting for a smaller size, I am yet to receive a confirmation email.

I have an almost new pair of Florsheim Kenmore's I bought several years ago. They were the first pair I purchased that were not made in the USA and they were 1/2 size too small. This time I ordered 1/2 size larger than my foot size and they seem to fit just fine. If it hadn't been for the great sale price I would never have bought another pair of Florsheim.

It may take some time for the Kenmoor to break in but after they do I'll be loving them. I recently had my previous pair stolen while on vacation in Dominican Republic. I had that pair for twenty years and had them resoled once. Imagine, some stole a pair of resoled Kenmoor imperials but left my allen Edmunds behind. Also resoled. This new pair may not be made in America like my previous pair but they are unmistakably kenmoors. Gunboats to say the least. That sound of my step is clearlying imperial.

I'm the last of a dying breed who works in the federal government and wears suits everyday to work. I have owned both a burgundy and black tumbled pair of these shoes for almost 10 years and they are still my "go to" shoes. I've had both half-soled twice. The black ones are due for another half-sole so I'm sure the burgundy ones will need it, as well. Both are classic and remain in-style, though I would probably buy the regular black ones, if and when I ever have to replace them, which is probably never. To maintain the original heels, I periodically purchase heel savers and replace them approximately every year. The upper stays nearly as good looking as the day I purchased them with no significant wear at the bend. The inside lining shows no indication of wear and fit as comfortable as ever. My only gripe is with the tumbled black pair and only the right shoe. It's apparently stiffer and has never felt like it falls on the floor the same way as my burgundy pair. (That probably sounds odd, but I can't really explain it. I don't think I have an oddity in my walk and I don't notice it with the burgundy pair so I assume it's the leather of the right tumbled black shoe.) The cobblers who repair my shoes always say, "Wow! These are classics. Where'd you get them?" I feel better and more proud when I wear these shoes to meetings I attend around the world. These shoes say, "This is a man's man and he knows style."

very well made shoe -- takes a little time to break in. normal width seemed too narrow so got the wide but after a week of wearing they now seem too wide.. but can't return them now. side just below the ankle knuckle gets sore because side either is too high and it is stiff. Maybe my ankle bone is too low!!

nice shoe -- but the top of foot is too tigh.. might be the extra padding in heal ..
not sure if I should tough it out to stretch it or get a wide -- I sent back at my cost and ordered the wide.
