I bought this shoe after seeing a co-worker wearing it. He said he had the same pair for over 15 years, only needing to get them re-soled and re-heeled occasionally. This is a great pair of shoes, I wish I had three more just like it. Tippy-toe, tippy-toe.

I would love it if these were made in the USA, but they are a good value and being made in India contributes to it I'm sure. I have read complaints online about how this shoe is made in India and it doesn't compare to the Florsheims of old. They may not compare to the old ones (I never had old ones), but these shoes hold their own. I got these on sale [...] and think they are a great bargain at that price. Even at list price they are worth it. These are not slippers when you first get them. There is a significant break in period (I'm on week 3) and they are stiff when they arrive. That was expected, however. I personally like shoes that you have to break in and that eventually mold to your feet. Even though they are stiff, I've had no blisters during the break in. I know these will last a long time. I bought a pair of American made (Wisconsin) long wing wingtips to compare/contrast and kept the Florsheims. The leather appeared to be better on the others, but the others got too narrow at my toes and I could not accept that at the price. The Florsheims fit my foot better. I'm a 10D and the fit is right on for me.The one item I did not like at first was the nylon laces. In the box, the laces look cheap. I was expecting waxed cotton. In use, the laces are a non-issue and work quite well. I was going to swap them out, but have decided not to.Overall I think they look great and am extremely happy with the purchase.

I have been wearing a pair of these shoes for about 2 years. They are excellant though not designed for walks around the track but very good for their purpose. Their purpose is to look good at work or a dinner party. The workmanship is first rate and the classic wingtip styling speaks out "conservative and well balanced". I am an accountant ...go figure.

I have been a happy customer of your product for over 46 years now and still love your Kenmore classic long wing tip brogue. Great fit , great quality , and great price. No these are not the shoes of the 70's or 80's and if they were they would be twice the price......... That being said, keep up the good work. These shoes are a great value and quality for the price.

My husband has worn Florsheim shoes since he was a young man and inherited a pair from his grandfather! He still loves the classic styling and doesn't want to wear anything different. He can buy a pair of Florsheim shoes in his size on line and never has to worry about the fit! Thank you for making it so easy to get your shoes!

A true Florsheim classic. I have been buying this particular shoe for years. I wear them with suits and jeans. The look is great! Everyone has tried to knock off this original classic from Florsheim but can't quite get it right. If you want an "original"...buy the "original"!

As always, Zappos' service was fantastic. The shoe is beautiful, and fits well. I have only worn it a few times and it may need to loosen up a bit to fit even better.

Soles are a little slick on carpets when new. Once they scuff up (from normal walking) they grip a lot better. Not my first pair, hopefully my last. IF I have to buy shoes again, I will buy the same...

The shoes are not only fine pieces of work, but the protected bags each shoe comes in completes the picture of quality.

The shoe looks true to the photo, very professional. I had to wear it a bit to get used to the fit, but in the end decided that it was a keeper.

The Florsheim Kenmoor is even more impressive in person than on the website. A great shoe that looks equally at home with my suits, khakis, and jeans. They take some time to break in, but fit like a glove afterwards. This is the only wingtip I'll ever buy. Manly and then some! Zappos is the best. The shoes shipped and showed up early, and in pristine condition.

I had a pair of lower end Florsheims in my 20s, but always lusted after the imperials, so it seemed to make sense to ask for a pair for my 40th birthday. They are everything I expected they would be. They fit very well, and are very supportive. Despite a thick leather sole, which you might expect to be stiff, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and they just look cool. Nothing else compares.

I have waited a long time for a pair of these shoes; they feel good, but need some breaking-in. I ordered a first pair my regular size (11). The shoe did not fit, and felt a size too large. I sent the shoes back, and received a half-size lower. The shoes feel great. Thanks for the customer service and the product.

Just like a good baseball glove, these leather shoes take a while to break in, but the process is well worth it. Unlike any other kind of shoe on the market, these are durable, timeless, comfortable and always appropriate dress shoes. They could have been seen on a 1950's era business man or a 21st century upwardly mobile executive. A classic essential.

Shoes fit perfectly. I am 8.5 and ordered 8.5. Style is classic and always 'in'. The only thing I would do differently is to check the manufacturers web site first. A week after I received these I happened to browse the site and found the same shoe with a discount. That would have been a good deal.

My husband is very happy with these shoes. He said they are very comfortable and they really look great with his suits. As he is an executive, it is important that he look professional and these shoes do the trick. Also, thank you for your exemplary customer service.

This shoe is the former Imperial model, correct? They are fabulous! My first pair I purchased in 1993 at Detroit's J. L. Hudson.

Incredibly comfortable, fit absolutely perfect. Just got these today and I am really impressed. Best shoes I have ever purchased and I've worn Ferragamos. I wear a size 13 with a B width and have never had a better fitting pair of dress shoes.

I own one pair of Kenmoors which I purchased at [...] Roebuck in 1973. My shoes have been resoled and heeled many times and look and feel as good as when I first bought them. My dream is to buy another pair someday. That purchase would last me the rest of my life. (60 years old)

I have three pairs of Kenmoors. I wear them every day and rarely wear my more expensive brand shoes. I wish you made a Kenmoor spectator!

The Kenmoor is the granddaddy of the longwing shoe. The double thick sole and gunboat longwing make for timeless wear in both suits and jeans. I own 5 Kenmmors (Black wingtip nos made in USA in the late '80s, and the other 4 are the current Made in India versions - plain burgundy and black bluchers, and cognac and burgundy longwings) and with the proper care and rotation in the wardrobe should all but last a lifetime. As others have said, today's Kenmoor cannot compete with the vintage Kenmoor, but one must consider the price point. The vintage Kenmoor - to be made to that standard of construction - would have to cost at least [$]. For 1/2 off the modern Kenmoor remains a bargain investment. I would urge Florsheim, however, to take the Duckie Brown experiment one step further and reintroduce a limited run of the black pebble grain longwing made in the USA to the old specs and at a fair price for that level of quality and see what happens. My guess is that you will be shocked at the high demand.
