My husband has own these for years and only wears on occasions. We were going out last night for a special dinner. And the sole and bottom of the shoe disintegrated. Like a tire blow out. Wouldn't purchase another pair.

Purchased these shoes on 9/6/2022 and began wearing them on 9/19/2022. Material on the outer surface is beginning to peel off.

Run small, feel too cheap.

The shoes sent were several sizes too small. I ordered a15-EW instead of a 6-EW. My husband's big toe would not get in those shoes. He was really disappointed and just looked a the shoes he had his heart set on.

Handsome shoe with soft Napa leather uppers. Ordered a 9 EEE....the width was fine but grossly not too size length wise. More like a 9-1/2 or 10 although stamped as a 9 EEE.

It was not the 3E Wide that I requested so it was returned for that reason alone

The size was not a 7.5, but closer to an 8 (unless the Dancer shoes I have enjoyed for the last 3 years were smaller than 7.5, but I don't think so). I am unhappy the selection of sizes is limited to half sizes. Furthermore, the Como cost more than the Dancer, but have a glued sole instead of stitched.

We returned the shoes for a smaller size, 9 1l2 E. Waiting for the return.

I am returning a second pair of shoes. The first pair I ordered was in size 12. The reason I ordered a size 12 is because I bought five pairs of # 369497 black in 11 D and one pair of brown #97103 in 11 1/2 D before they were discontinued. The black pairs fit perfect and were assembled in the USA and the brown was equal to a size 11 and was made in Spain. The pair I am returning was made in India and the left shoe was close to fitting but the right shoe was equal to a 12. The different countries where the shoes were made seemed to influence the size making it hard to guess the right size. The pair I am returning look like the right shoe was tried on a lot. The leather did not match the left shoe. I like your styles but your incorrect sizing is a pain and I am asking for a refund.

I prefer to use for dress situations

the shoes gapped tremendously and felt and looked like they were made with cheap materials and little care for quality

Shoe looks fine -- ordered the same size and width as I have for,the Riva but fit is not the same.

This is an everyday shoe in a business casual environment. Good news: They fit. I have been wearing Florsheim Royal Imperials since about 1985. They are the only dress shoes I have found that fit my feet well. Bad News: I feel like I paid $180.00 for factory seconds. Defects, scrapes and blemishes in the leather. I returned the first pair, but the second pair were no better. In fact, I do believe they sent one of the shoes I returned right back to me. Since these are the only shoes that fit well, I need to keep them, or I would go through the incredible pain of returning them again. There is no way a pair like this would have ever been sold in a Florsheim Store. A very, very, very large disappointment.

I've been wearing these type shoes for over 10 years, and now have a pair, I recently purchased, that have simply fallen apart on the second day of wear. The soles on both shoes are coming apart where the sole is sewn to the shoe... the outer edge has split from the shoe, and the center of the sole has split from one side to the other. I have one other pair, I will start wearing tomorrow, and if they do the same, Florsheim will lose my business after all these years. Normally the sole doesn't come apart until after 8 or so months of wear, and by then the entire shoe is starting to show enough wear they need to be replaced anyway. But after only two days, this tells me that quality has either severely slipped at Florsheim or they let a bad batch get thru. Hopefully they will let me return them and give me a new pair. If the second pair also fail after a few days, then I will most certainly post more on these pages.

The shoes have been worn only a few times and the color has worn off the raised ridge on top of the shoe. This shoe was too expensive for the shoddy quality. I will not buy Flosheim again. This is the only brand I have purchased for 19 years. I am very disappointed.

I have been wearing these shoes for years with no problems but something must have changed in production because the sole fell off after 2 weeks! What a waste of money.
