Inadequate cushioning for high impact aerobics -
I like the shoe, but I need more cushioning for high impact jazzercise 4 times a week. It would be great shoe for a light workout, very comfortable, but it was not what I need.

Our daughter typically wears a 4 in shoes and we had to go with a 6.
Sizing is way off on these shoes.

I have attached a picture to show that this shoe is at least two sizes too small. The picture shows a pair of oxfords size 13 on the left and and the Capezio Dansneaker on the right that is labled size 14. The pictured Dansneaker is more like a size 12 in spite of its label for size 14.

The sizing on this shoe is so off! My daughter wears a size 3, and the size 4 is too small. I am now sending them back for the second time to try the size 5.

I liked the fit of this shoe. I was going to use them for Zumba, but when I tried them out at home, they left black marks all over my floor. I am returning them.

I ordered a full size up from my usual shoe size (a half size up from what I wear in most high-end shoes like Jimmy Choos, and a full size from what I usually wear in other shoes). The length appeared to be right, though I did not have much room to spare. I did not find the shoe particularly narrow, and I have medium width feet. However, I am returning these shoes because of the hard synthetic leather over the top of the toes. At first I thought these shoes were too short even with a full size larger that I usually wear, but then I realized that actually the tip of my big toe was poking up against the synthetic leather on top of the shoe. I felt this discomfort when just trying the shoe on, and so I cannot say how it would have felt if I had tried to do Zumba in them, etc. if you have ever had issues with your big toe poking up against the top of your shoes (I have had this issue before, though rarely), do not buy these shoes. Try a pair that has softer material across the top of the toe box, such as the Capezio Canvas Dance Sneaker (bought these in a half size up from my normal size and am returning for the next size up because they are too short, though still more comfortable for my toes than these ones). I'm also going to try the Rockit style.

Runs way too small! My dress shoes are 8.5, my New Balance sneakers are 9. I read the reviews and ordered a 10. Toes hit the end of the shoe and it squeezes all over. I might try a 10.5. Hard to tell whether it would be a good Zumba shoe or not b/c of the size -- hence the 2 stars.

I have had other Bloch dance sneakers in the past so knew to order a size larger than I usually wear, so the fit was ok. However, the overall quality and construction of these shoes is terrible. They are stiff and flimsy and have absolutely no support. I returned them and won’t order that model again.

Dissapointed! Shoes arrived in a used and scraped brand names box. The tread showed obvious use. Paper stuffed inside was old and worn. One eyelet ring was broken. I will not order from Zappos again. This is unacceptable. Just got the shoes today and processing a return.

Capezio was supposedly established in 1867. One would think that during that nearly 150 years someone at the company would have learned to use a ruler. One size larger wasn't even close and the size is so far off I am not going to waste any more time trying to find a good fit. I usually buy Bloch and will again. Thanks to Zappos for the free return.

I ordered a size 14. I have never had a problem with a shoe ordered in this size. I made ther mistake of putting them on to travel because my other Capezio same size fit perfectly. This pair my toes look like they had been hit with a hammer. Black, blue and red.
I think the size is mislabeled.

This shoe is so uncomfortable. It is so tight on your toes, and this is after ordering a size bigger than I normally wear. I put them on for 10 minutes and knew immediately that this was not for me. I have normal sized medium width foot with no abnormalities and these shoes were almost painful.

This shoe just doesn't make sense. It's not comfortable and has no midsole support. I'm a podiatrist and would recommend that sports/dance enthusiasts stay away from this design. Looks interesting, but the foot needs support in the arch! Do not buy any shoe that bends in the middle of the shoe!

Very comfortable for salsa and zumba. Turn well on most floors. A men's 9R street shoe is a 12M here.
Shoes wore out in about 5 months. First stitching tore and shoelace loop tore out. Then, upper tore away from sole, showing my socks in the gap. They died to quickly.
I wouldn't recommend to others due to their early failures.

I'm a DanceFit instructor. I tried these shoes in two classes and the soles are far too slippery for my taste. I can't hold a wide stance position without my feet losing grip. I do not like these shoes at all. I agree with comments on the fit -- they run small so a size larger than your usual street size. I'm still searching for a comfortable, supportive dance shoe. I currently wear Ryka.

I bought these shoes to replace a pair of these exact shoes that lasted me for four years.I have been wearing these now for almost 3 months, and they have started falling apart at the seams! I am surprised at how poor the quality is. Maybe I just got a pair of lemons. But a pair of dance shoes should last longer than 3 months, especially since I only take one or two dance classes a week. I am very disappointed in the quality, but I'm not sure what to do next.

I'm a folk dancer and I always see people wearing these shoes, so I decided to try them. Within 30 seconds of trying them on I knew these shoes were not for me. First, I have a bunion on my right foot and the seam where the leather meets the fabric hit it in an uncomfortable way. Second, I could not believe how little padding these shoes had. The sole felt lumpy and did not conform to the shape of my foot at all (a frequent problem I have with many shoes). It must be me because so many other people love these shoes, but I hated them. By the way, I wear a size 10.5 and ordered these in a 12. The length was good.

I got these shoes for my hip hop dance. In fact, our whole dance team got the same ones. The problem that we have had with them is not really the comfort, but after just 6 uses, all of us are experiencing alot of wear on the toe area. We tried to bring them back to the store where we purchased them, but because we wore them, we weren't able to return them. I, personally, have been dancing since I was 3 years old, I am now 17 and I have always worn the capezio brand name of shoes and have never experienced this problem with any of their shoes before. I am very disappointed in the quality. I hope that this is not an ongoing issue with this line, because that would be unfortunate to those of us who really like capezio shoes for dance. Thanks for listening and I'm really sorry this isn't a better review.
