I usually have purchased the Avia aerobic shoes but thought I would give the Capezio Dancesneaker a try for my 4x week Jazzercise class which includes step. There is really no arch support in this shoe and my arches ached badly after the second time using them. I went back to the Avia aerobics for support and shock absorption factors. The Capezio’s were much lighter and easier to bend the foot and point the toe in than regular aerobic shoes. I heeded the other reviews and purchased them a half size larger than my normal size and they fit fine.

Capezio Dancesneaker - I like this shoe! It is comfortable. I use it in Jazzercise. It feels different than a crosstraining shoe which is what I'm used to so took a couple of times to get used to it. Its fun to be able to point my toe more than the other people in class. I got a compliment on its look. I bought a 1/2 size bigger and it fits just right.

Good little Dance Shoe- This was my first dance shoe purchase and although I haven't actually danced in them yet I have worn them at work. I run around and go up and down stairs a lot at my job. Plus I stand for hours on end. These shoes are very comfortable and I had a lot more arch support than I expected. I ordered one size larger than I normally wear (I was very excited that they even came in a size that big) and that seemed to work out well for me. I probably could have gone down a half size. I wear thin socks with these shoes which helps my feet stay comfy.

The ultra comfortable and flexible fierce dance sneaker - I love how comfortable they are to dance and kick box in. It feels so good to finally be able to glide naturally and do turns effortlessly without having to hear my sneakers sqeaking while skidding across the floor.. These shoes do run on the small side. I had to buy them in a whole size bigger than my regular shoe size. They also look stylish.

Great for dance aerobics! Very comfortable! Slightly narrow in the toe; be sure to buy one size up.

My daughter loves these. It took us a few tries to get the size but we are thrilled.

Could be worse... Excellent construction. Great support. Only problem is that they don't have a wide version for people like me (5E). I can get by with the available sizes for a short period of time, but it would be nice if some of these shoes (and also the ballroom shoes) were available in wider sizes.

capezio fierce dancesneaker - Tried this instead of athletic shoes for aerobics and kickboxing, because my knees were bothering me with all the turning and twisting. These shoes definitely help, less knee pain first time I wore them. But the cushioning under the ball of the foot is not as good as aerobic or cross-training shoes. Probably will get them again though. They are so comfortable.

My Dance Sneakers - They are nice, comfortable dancing shoes. Best to order a size larger, I had to return the first pair which I originally ordered 1/2 size bigger. Zappos is great with returns, I got credit for the returned ones as soon as they got them. In the meantime, I ordered the next size up which are perfect. Zappos is really great to deal with, super-fast delivery, ease of returns, and immediate credit if you do have to return something.

Dancin in style - I am still trying to figure out the new sizing and styling for Capezio. This shoe seems to be more supportive than the other style I have worn for years and like that. The fit is less sloppy, but the more pointed toe is not as good for my foot and requires almost a full size bigger. It seems like it will last longer and is more sturdy.

Nice, but not what I wanted - These shoes might be great for a different kind of dancing. I do Jazzercise, and my foot slid around inside this shoe just a little too much. I need more stability. Also, I wear a size 8 but due to the feedback on this shoe I bought a 9. It fit just fine.

Capizio - I love these shoes.... They are comfortable, flexible, durable and look nice. I take martial arts, and my shoes take a beating... This is my second pair, and I'm sure I'll be back for more.

Comfortable shoe - I have been using the shoe for salsa dancing. It works very well.

Much more comfortable than my dance heels... Advise them to anybody who practices more than 1 day per week!!

Even at 1 1/2 sizes larger than specified, shoe was too short and too narrow. Opted to go with Bloch brand. It's wider, but still need to order two sizes larger than you normally wear.

Extremely short! Had to return. Looks like a good shoe but because it was so short,my husband could not even begin put the shoe on.

These run small. Thanks to other reviewers I was able to order accordingly. However, they are still a little on the tight size (length wise). I didn't end up exchanging them for the next size up as I fear they'd be too big then so for now I'm using them and they are working. I am usually a size 9, but I ordered a 9.5. The support seems to be good. I am using them for Zumba. At the moment I don't see too much of a difference between them and my sneakers but I've only used them about 4 times so it's still early days.

I ordered a whole size up based on the reviews that I read. They still seemed a bit small to me. They were also too tight around the ball of my foot. I have a small bunion, that might be why, or it might also be because the shoes are tapered in the toe. I tend to like shoes with a round toe, not a pointed toe. I'm returning them.

Shoes are way too small. I'm usually a 7 and even a size larger did not fit. Too narrow.The shoelaces are difficult to use.

I normally wear a size 9, but due to the reviews and the fact that I knew I'd be exercising hard in these shoes, I ordered a 10 and a 10.5 to try. I tried the 10.5 first and found them to be a bit crowded in the toe box, so I didn't even bother trying on the 10. I'm sending them both back for several reasons, the first being the slight crowding. The nail on my big toe (I keep my nails very short, so it wasn't because they were long) was bumping on the top of the shoe, and that didn't seem like a good idea. Also, the ankle area has a huge pad that doesn't seem to accomplish anything at all but looks awful and made it harder to lace the shoes snug. I have narrow feet so I always have to snug up the laces as much as I can. I did like the fact that the laces help support the arch area because there's no sole under the arch, which didn't seem to be noticeable at all. The arch felt supportive enough. The bottom of the shoe would work well for Zumba because it's slick instead of sticky, like most running/walking shoes. The main caveat I'd stress on these shoes is order up in size. Even 1.5 or 2 sizes. Depends on how your foot is in shoes. Mine always slips down and hits the end of the shoe because I'm flat-footed so I'm very careful to get shoes long enough. I can't really say I would recommend these shoes, but I think they would work well if you had the right kind of feet.

Order at least one size larger than your normal street shoe size, these run very short. I've ordered size 10.5 in a Capezio jazz sneaker in the past and none were as short as this model in that same size. Otherwise I preferred this shoe to the Bloch one.

Way small; don't be fooled into thinking these will be your size. To get anything approaching a true fit, you want a full size larger than you normally wear. I also didn't find that they were particularly supportive. They were, however, very light, which is nice.

Too tight even a size larger - Not a lot of cushion, so not so sure this will work for Jazzercise. I thought/expected better.

Good for dance class - Shoe has no cushioning, but bends well. Better than gym shoes for dance classes as it doesn't stick. However, at some points it is actually too slippery.

Not as comfortable - The sizing is bizarre, two sizes higher. The soles are good the styling is nice but they don't feel as comfortable as I was expecting. I was expecting a feel more like a sneaker.
