Did not buy these for ordinary use [ballet]. I needed house slippers and the ones on amazon were cheap and poorly made, so I came here and bought these. Shoes are painful for me since I broke my foot some years ago. I found these fit very very small and had to exchange for a couple sizes larger. They are a little too big, but I pull the string to tighten. Not interested in going down half a size, as I think that would be tight enough to start giving me pain. Great option for inside the house, if not able to go barefoot. Have not worn outside-they are not made for that though some do, but that would wear them out fast. Would buy again in this bigger size.

I ordered this ballet slippers to wear in a yoga class. I found them to be a full size smaller than I usually wear. I returned for the larger size and they were fine. No arch support but then they aren't supposed to have any.

I love the ballet slippers. So much more fun and elegant to wear around the house instead of slippers. Makes the morning a happier time!

I'm not a dancer at all but I wanted some soft sole shoes because I broke my ankle a year ago and barefoot is the most comfortable for me. The leather sole is very sturdy. I've walked just about everywhere with them. It's like being barefoot, so you do not want to walk on rocks and large gravel. The parking lot at Walmart has large gravel in the asphalt and its a little tender to the feet. They're very cute shoes as well. Definitely happy!

Perfect! These are worn daily, as I am a 'sock person'. Now, I have a leather barrier. Purchased earlier; they were stolen and replaced. They are such a necessary staple. Zappos rules!

I had Capezio daisy in pink and black years ago and never could find them again until Zappos. I ordered & love them and they look fabulous with pencil pant or leggings. who knows may start a new trend thank you Zappos.Just be sure to order a size up, they do run small.

Daughter loved the shoe. We did have to go up a size. Overall would buy again.

Bought these when I signed up for an adult ballet class. These are my first pair of ballet shoes ever. The size was perfect and I have enjoyed wearing them.

These cute ballet slippers make great house slippers and are very affordable. The elastic strap can be worn over the too or the foot or behind the heel to keep the slippers on. The shoe and also be adjusted to fit by the tie string. They come in pink or black. As for size, I actually had to order a size larger than my normal size. I love them. As usual, Zappos provided excellent quality and outstanding service. Thanks!

Can't go wrong with these shoes. They're pretty much de rigeur for all aspiring ballerinas. I love that one pair will not only last through a ballet season for my daughter, but be passed down to many other little girls via the "free box" at the studio.

My daughter goes to a ballet school where they practice for an hour and a half a day. They require this exact shoe. It fits her feet perfectly and even with all the dancing, she doesn't complain about her feet hurting.

Ordered 7.5 which is similar to my regular shoe size. shoe fits. Has good flex though needs softening before using professionally. If you are not planning to use for dance, be aware there is no support and almost no sole and fit is tight though comfortable.

Just like the ones from dance school years ago, and the strap is in the correct place! I am so pleased, I am going to get a pair for my sister!

I usually wear a 9.5 in sandals, street ballet flats, dress shoes, moccasins, etc, and a 10 in boots, gym shoes, Nike Musique dance shoes, etc. I ordered both a 9.5 and a 10 to compare as I just started taking ballet classes and wasn't sure how the fit would be. My recommendation is to go with your boot/gym shoe size. I'm keeping the 10. It was still a bit snug in the toe area, but after wearing to a couple of classes they are comfortable and fit perfectly. Hope this helps others as when I was trying to figure out what to order I didn't really come across anyone giving information regarding size and fit in their comments.

These shoes are an awesome deal! They fit perfectly - as expected. Finally a dance shoe sizing system that is easy to figure out! This is the third pair ordered from Zappos, and I can't say enough good things about the selection, customer service and immediate shipping.

Comfortable ballet slipper. Has held up well worn twice a week and still will get plenty of use next year. My daughter is a size 4; had to get a size 5.

I love these ballet shoes that I bought - they're a little tight, but I know they'll stretch. I bought them to wear around the house.

Just perfect! My first pair of Capezio ballet shoes was purchased over 40 years ago when I was a tiny ballerina. Wore them all through years of professional dance training, and decided to just get another pair for nostalgic reasons. As great as ever! Wear them with capri pants outdoors, in the office when my high-heeled feet need a break, in yoga class on cold winter days, and at home as slippers. Elegant, and fit great. I believe a few reviewers don't understand that the drawstrings need to be tighten up a lot to make the shoe fit properly. You then knot it, tie a pretty little bow (or tuck the stings into your shoe if you prefer), and cut the extra length off the strings.

I use this "shoe" for floor exercises, especially at a class where I don't want to walk/exercise where others have walked/exercised. Very natural-feeling and your feet stay clean. Use at home for same purpose. Great for dancing in the kitchen when no one is there.

These are great little shoes. I purchased them to wear indoors - not as ballet shoes. I wanted something that would keep me from wearing out my socks, but not so hot as slippers. These work wonderfully. I've had them a few weeks and they have stretched just enough to fit perfectly. I did go up a half size.

These are cute and comfortable. Do not forgot to order down from your regular size if you are wearing them for ballet. But if you want them for comfortable house shoes, you can use your regular size.

I ordered these slippers a year ago. I wear them so often that I wore a hole in them and will order another pair immediately. It 's like going barefoot. I wear them to work, shopping, whenever I just want to have my feet covered. I am not in ballet or yoga, I just got them because I wanted the flattest flat possible!
