Wanted pants to wear camping that weren't gonna wear out too bad and had some extra space for storage, these have great cargo pockets, the reinforce knees feel seamless and durable, and the fit and feel is comfortable, only problem is I ordered in my normal size and since have put on about 10 pounds and they're a bit snug(but that's hardly the pants' fault)

I was introduced to these pants after my daughter bought some for my son. Once I started wearing them, I have not gone back to jeans. They have double thickness in places that get the most wear, plus reinforcement for carrying a tape measure, etc. The strength is also a weakness. A few weeks ago the material tore below the extra reinforcement in the front. I was going to hire someone to sew them back up for me, but the rear tore the next day. Granted, these get a lot of wear, but I was disappointed, however not so much that I didn't stop buying them. I ordered 3 more pairs!

Love these pants, plenty of pockets. Extra material at knees, wear pads for pocket protection.

the only thing these pants can't hold up to is battery acid and dryers. I wear these pants daily in the junkyards kneeling on broken glass, in the woods walking through thorns and trees, and even to my daughters recital. I have a spinal cord injury and fall often, and these pants hold up much better than any other. got kids? I can fit 4 water bottles in the cargo pockets. after about 15 washes they start getting softer. I wear only these pants, every day, in a few colors. for a country boy, they are the best

I have been wearing Riggs for the last ten years, and they are the only pants that hold up to the environment that I work in.

I've been buying RIGGS Ranger Ripstop pants for years and love them. I highly recommend them, they're tough and wear exceptionally well. Great pants for riding a motorcycle or just knocking around at home.

Worn every day for work. Worth every penny for protection from cactus tree branches and other hazards found outside in the Arizona terrain.

Bought my first pair maybe ten years ago. Still using that pair. Have bought four more pairs. These are my outdoor field work and camping pants. They hold up well to salt marsh muck and Sierra Nevada granite. Multiple pockets keep gear and tools secure but in reach. Double thick rip stop fabric protects me from stickers while wading through thigh high brush. Ample leg room grants freedom of movement. Well designed, well made, with quality materials. The real deal right here.

I purchased these pants for my son, an budding electrician. He loves all the pockets and how durable they are. The only place that he seems to rip the pants is either in the pockets or the seat.

Years ago I originally bought these cause I worked at a local feed store and bucked hay all day and sometimes hay will tear up your pants the Riggs seemed to last longer than any other brands .
Now that I'm at a different job I work outside all day and I am up and down ladders and kneeling down on roof to work or doing work on the ground. The built in chaps gives my knees extra padding . The extra pockets helps hold my tools and the tape measure no longer tears up my pockets as I pull it off the pocket. I am going to probably get the blue jean ones next.

I have a vineyard and spend all day bending over, kneeling, etc. These are roomy enough to move around in. Double knee fabric is holding up great. I usually have a couple of pounds of metal tools in the pockets (Leatherman, pruners, utility knife, etc) plus my phone. Plenty of room. Only complaint is the hammer loop-too small for most of my hammers. Perfect for hooking fencing pliers over.

These are very well made pants for construction, not the thin material some pants are nowadays.
I'd buy them again.
My exchange for the wrong size pants went very smooth, great customer service.

I've been wearing RIGGS Ripstop Cargo pants for years and love them. Study, good looking, and the two new colors, Kangaroo and Cornstalk, are a great addition. I would highly recommend these pants to anyone.
