I bought these just in time to kick off this years backpacking season. I loved my initial pair of Topo trail runners, bcs tthe roomy toe box and just the right amount of cushion served me well on runs, so I was eager to try the boots! The boots were sturdy, waterproof, and light weight enough to be a great purchase for my trip. No blisters, calluses and my toes weren't squished. I think the Topo brand is superior to many of its competitors! #sweepstakes

I am new to Topo's and so far I LOVE these boots! I have primarily used La Sportiva's in the past and was looking for a lower drop option. These have good ground feel, fit my mid-foot and heel really well, and give my toes plenty of room to spread. They have good forward flexion and they are very comfortable right out of the box! I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I'll be wearing these boots on the Camino de Santiago - 500 miles. I am also planning to use these boots speed walking some 30Km. ultra races. I have some physical issues with my hips, and these shoes have great cushion to help keep comfortable during the long walks. I did have to order up one half size to fit my feet

Took these for several local hikes, and then a big hiking trip to the UK. Gamechanger! My old Merrell MOABs were nice but my toes were always squished. These are THE most comfortable shoes, even wore them on "city" days because they were more comfortable than my street shoes. Like sneakers, but in hiking boots. Put in custom insoles. Had to order a half size larger than I've ever taken. PLEASE can we have them in normal colors like gray or brown or olive??? Raspberry is ridiculous!

I'm a weekend walker/hiker with very bony feet. I developed a nasty corn from my previous hiking boots and had to wear blister bandaids every time I put them on. The Trailventure 2s feel so good on my feet and there's no pain from the corn. The boots are a little funny looking because of the wide toe box, but at this point in my life, comfort wins over style any day of the week!

I don't usually purchase waterproof boots because they tend to make my feet too hot and sweaty but I have a non-waterproof version of these and absolutely love them so decided to give the waterproof version a try and keep them handy for extra wet weather or sloppy muddy trails. They are awesome. As always, love, the wide toebox, and the drop is perfect for my feet

I put these on and hiked in them uphill, into Big Bend for 8 miles. They are the perfect boot! Lightweight and zero rubbing. Well cushioned!

My favorite shoes, for years. BUT - for the love of God, please give us the same colors as the men's shoes. The olive color and even the yellow's on the men's side is AMAZING but nope, women have to choose between a weird purple, a light blue, and an ugly blue-ish/green. When I get a new pair I run them through the mud right away, just to tone down the colors I'm stuck with.

Thank you for the big toe box and ample room for my custom orthotics. My feet and ankles feel secure, cozy, and best of all... cute! I get lots of complements on them!

I love Topo shoes so much and recommend this brand to all my friends and family, all who love them. These are my first Topo boots and I wasn't expecting to like them better than my shoes but wow, I do! I have a slightly wide toe box, narrow at the heel, and very high arch. These stay in place, keeping my toes from sliding forward and hitting the front of the shoe. I do like to size up a full size because of this. These boots are so cushioned it's like walking on air. I thought it might be an issue navigating rocks and roots (they kinda feel moon boot like) but honestly these are so grippy and sturdy that they are way better for any kind of terrain and saves your ankles. Don't forget to buy higher socks though. I also want to give a shout out to Body Glide blister balm, to anyone has blisters issues, Topos make a big difference but the Body Glide keeps my feet feeling 100% great by the end of hiking. If you have any foot pain after hiking, please do not hesitate to try topos!

I purchased these boots after I had a horrible experience with a previous boot. I had bought a Columbia boot for hiking and it was the worst experience ever. After 22 miles, my feet hurt so bad I was crying. My foot had blisters on every single toe and I could hardly walk. My foot was so cramped. I bought these and wore them straight out the box. I have never had such a roomy toe box. My feet felt so great after a 6+ mile hike. Literally worth every single penny! 10/10 recommend! I can't wait to see how they hold up, but I am not doubting that they can't. These shoes have impressed me a lot already. The available color (in store) was the Coral/Blue. I wasn't crazy about it at all, I would of preferred the darker teal/green color. But I was searching for functionality, comfort, durability, and something that would take care of my feet while I explore on foot for miles. So far, this boot is exactly what I have been looking for! The grip/traction is phenomenal as well, which was another big deciding factor! In Kentucky we have lots of slippery rocks/boulders, ridiculous root systems, and a lot of natural springs. This boot was put to the test immediately after purchase and I was blown away by the comfort. I wouldn't recommend any other boot but this one!

I love these boots for so many reasons including the out-of-the-box comfort, great traction, wide toe box and color options. They're super light and comfortable for long hikes and do well on a variety of terrain. My only complaint is that after less than 7 months of moderate wear, they are my second pair to develop holes in the mesh and loss of waterproofing.

I purchased these boots to use in wet/snowy weather. I own several pairs of Topos and love the roomy toe box. I wish these waterproof boots came in wide sizes. I have bunions and appreciate footwear that is available in wide. Also, the laces do not stay tied and I often have to re-tie or double knot. Please make them in wide and better colors! Please enter me in the sweepstakes!

Used them for hiking but needed more time to break them in before the first hike.

I was on my third pair of Trailventure boots. I love them! However my last pair was a lemon. There was something wrong with the stitching/manufacturing in the heel of the left boot. I put 50 miles on them and just couldn't get it from tearing up my heal. Luckily, I was still in the return window for the guarantee. Thank you for taking them back Topo. I will try a new pair. Hopefully this was just a defect.

These boots are almost perfect. Comfortable out of the box, the roomy toe box is fantastic. The heel is a tad wide for me, putting in my orthotics helped but there's still a lot of movement. They are lightweight and almost too cushioned, would benefit from more stability. The lacing system is a little tough, not able to tighten snugly around my ankles. I got the olive and was surprised to find the color to be a little too vibrant for my liking, guess I prefer more muted tones in the great outdoors. Works great with the Topo gaiters Overall they are very comfortable and my feet do not feel fatigued after long days on the trail.

I was looking to replace my previous Topo Athletic hiking boots that wore out. Initially, I was disappointed that they no longer made the non-WP boot. After trying a few other brands, I came back to this boot and loved it! I really like the wide toe box and its overall comfort with just the right amount of cushion. The fit around the ankle was very comfortable - the top of the tongue seems to have extra padding there. I also really like the way these lace up with a sort of locking mechanism at the ankle to keep the lace (and heel) in place. The only thing I would change about this boot would be to improve the arch support. I did add an insert. My first hike in these was 11.5 miles and my feet felt great!

I would keep them if they came in wides. I love the wider toe box and narrow heel fit. Just not wide enough

I have hiked 50+ miles in these boots. They are best hiking boots I have ever owned, and I've had a lot! They are comfortable and I've never had sore or tired feet from wearing them. I gave them a four star because after hiking 3 miles in the snow, the tops of my feet did start getting damp. I also wish the traction was a little bit better. But, to be clear, these are for sure my go to hiking boot! When they break down, I will buy another pair!

Just got these, excited to see how they do. I have Rekover II slippers & the Travese shoe & LOVE the support they provide with the sturdiness. With these, I had to really work with the laces to sure up the arch area. Also, there is a lot of fabric in the tongue that seems unnecessary. The toe bed feels wider than the other Topo shoes They are comfortable. I'm giving them the time & hope they work out!

I did go 1/2 size up from my normal size and they are perfect. Very comfortable, supportive, and sturdy. They are almost the perfect boot. To be perfect, I would like them to feel less heavy, but wouldn't want to compromise the support and structure.
