I have owned many pairs of Topos over the years as an avid runner. Recently started hiking due to some lingering running injuries. Purchased a pair of Trailventure 2 boots as my first pair of true hiking boots. Couldn't be more stoked. First hike out of box, 15 miles. Super comfy, no issues. Second hike 26 miles, 7k vert, no issues. Great traction on all surfaces, plenty of ankle support and kept feet dry despite many miles of snow drifts. Highly recommend.

Huge shoutout to Scout for the recommendationthese are by far the best trail shoes I've ever worn. The wide toe box looks a little funny, but I don't give a F. My feet have room to breathe and move naturally, and it makes all the difference. They're light, responsive, and the tread is excellent. It's the perfect hybrid between a trail runner and a hiking boot. I've worn Solomon, Hoka, Keen, and morebut these outperform them all. What really impressed me was the balance: plenty of cushioning, but I could still feel the trail beneath me. With Hokas, I always felt a little unstable, like I was walking on a platform. The Topos give me that grounded feel without sacrificing comfort. And for contextI'm not a graceful "glider" on the trail. I'm a grinder. I bang into roots, rocks, and whatever else is in my way, and these shoes held up beautifully. The support and cushioning are outstanding, even when I'm being hard on them. Even my old favorite, the Solomon Quest 4, can't compete. That boot is a beastand heavy. The Topos give me the support I need without weighing me down. I'm a convert.

I purchased a men's wide shoe because the women's shoe was too narrow. The men's shoes fit very well. I downsized one size. At first I had some heel pain but withTopo 30 day free trial I kept on wearing them and the heel pain was less. I love the shoeit is very comfortable, nice looking and the waterproof liner seems to be working quite well. I've been wearing them through the winter months and find them to be warm enough on most days. Overall very satisfied and would definitely buy another pair!

Finally a shoe with a wide toe box. I love the fit for a really wide foot at the toe that isnt sloppy in the heel.

Love the way these shoes fit and the generous toe box. The insoles are super comfortable and durable. I've had them for about 6 months now and don't feel they are breaking down at all in their cushioning. The tread is durable but also provides really good traction. The outer shoe is holding up well and does not have any wear other than scuffs from my use. The waterproofing is great but my only criticism is that they stopped making the non-waterproof version that breathes far better.

This is my eighth pair of Topos and they continue to impress. The toe box is roomy but my toes don't swim in them either, which I attribute to the heel and mid section of the keep conforming to my feet.

Out of the box great fit, and immediately high capability very stable and helps get up and down the hills. Much easier toebox is wonderful.

Trailventure 2 WP boots are just the thing for me. Bought them before taking a trip to Norway, wore them just about every day for weeks, never an issue. I need shoes with a wide toe box and thanks to Topo for thinking about how most human feet are actually built. Why more companies blow off the toe box is anybody's guess, but they decidedly don't get it. I've got two pairs of Topos now, love them both, wear them all the time. No regrets and I know where I'll be getting my next pair of shoes...

Every day shoes they are great. I have neuropathy from cemo treatment for cancer. My toes were affected and I have to have the wide toe box.

I love these boots. I bought them for our trip to Iceland in the summer of 2024. I wore them not only for hiking, but all day usage. Walking around Reykjavik, no problem. The waterproof capabilities really came in handy. I wear them a lot for hiking in the states too. I highly recommend. I may buy the black pair too.

I have used these boots the last two years on hunting trips. They performed excellent. First time in 13 years of hunting with no foot pain. The waterproofing. Obviously is t as good as leather boots. Depending on the environment this is something I'll sacrifice for the comfort of these. Highly recommended.

Love these shoes. They are my go-to for easy miles. Quality seems superior to Altra in many ways, but like how these lock down on foot and plenty of room for toes. Rubber seems superior and they last awhile. Looking to get 500+ miles on these before replacing. Just got some Atmos the other day. See how those work. Exploring more with the brand. Don't understand why the brand's speed shoes aren't offered in size 15. Also very minimal color choices in that size. Would love to see more offered!

these are my favorite all around option for hiking on normal trails transitioning to off-trail bushwhacking transitioning to scrambling. I love these boots/shoes. so comfortable and the wide toe box is just flat out awesome. very secure heel enclosure and mid-foot. and roomy toebox. love them! the 5mm drop is perfect. I use my Trailventure 2 WP shoes for hiking. They replaced my Olympus 4s. I loved those Olympus shoes, but they are beyond worn out! The newer versions had reliability issues and the price really went up. The very first time I put these Topos on and hiked they felt great. The Appalachian Trail is quite rocky in PA and the grip is fantastic. Changes: I think I would make the toe box slightly bigger. Also, add some type of string lock. They seem to open too easily on trail.

Very comfortable but struggle to lock-in the heal. Heal cups are worn through to the plastic.

I have wide feet so when I run with other shoe brands, I get toe blisters easily. With Topo I don't have that issue. I love the wide toe box. I wore out my last pair and now I use them for everyday use. There aren't many color choices in wide but I like the light grey more than I thought I would! #sweapstakes
