super heavy material.
we can only use them in the winter, not any other season. they are way too long also. we are going to have to pay to have them hemmed

I loved the old style better. I've only worn these twice and there is a hole in the like tool pocket so I can't put tools in there anymore

Great Pants, have purchased these before. The only reason they did not get a 5 star rating is that they are NOT offered in a 28" inseam. Dickies has informed me that they are discontinuing many of their big/tall clothing and have stopped offering shorter inseams in all pants other than their original work pants. Pants cost enough as it is never mind now having to pay to have the length altered. I know many guys that have shorter inseams and would buy them if offered. Maybe Dickies will rethink this!?

They fit way bigger than the next size down that we're tight on waist. I ordered the next size up and will probably have to gain 75 pounds to be able to fit in them.

I have been buying these pants for years as they have always been a good choice for work pants at a very good price. This year, the pants have diminished greatly in quality, not nearly as tough as before, both in fabric and construction. Very disappointing.

I bought the men's version of the duck carpenter pants in my equivalent size (30x30) and the fit was not good. The crotch rode up and the legs were short. I went back and bought women's size 8 in Dickies and they fit a bit on the loose side, but I can live with that.

Seem a little long. Also I don't like the pockets. They are too narrow and not very deep.

I bought the same exact size and style pants a year ago. They're a completely different size. Maybe they were manufactured somewhere different?

Size is not true I ordered 34x32 and they are maybe 32x32 so because I washed them before I guess I am stuck with them . Every other work pants are closer to size but these are far short

Had to go up one on the size based on what other reviews said and yes, they were right, you should go up one size, it fit good. However the thigh space and knee area was too baggy/loose which I didn't like, they were to baggy.

Seem nice but run really really small. I wear a 32 waist and order a 32 waist and I couldn't even button then or get them close to button. Wish I knew or it said they run small

Just not cut right for my build. I expected a little extra room in the behind but there was way too much room in the seat and legs. They were very baggy.

Ordered 4 pair canvas carpenter's pants. All 40"W ~ 30"L All four pair were indeed 40" waist, but only one was close to 30" long. 4 different lengths from 31" to 34". To avoid time and trouble returning 3 pair I just hemmed them all up to 30". They are fine now . . one of my favorite
heavy duty work pants.

very comfortable work pants, sizing very true. only criticism would be that the pockets are too close to the waistline making it difficult to get things in and out of them, other than that, would say they're nice pants for the price.

I liked the fit and look before the second washing but the pants faded quickly and wore out fast. The bottom hem was the first to go. I didn't wear them to work just driving and shopping. The fabric appears to be lightweight. Blue jeans denim is more durable and lasts years longer.

I would have given 5 Stars but the material is thinner then it used to be so only 4 stars...probably should of only given 3 stars.

Would give a higher rating, but waist size is not consistent. Already own 1939 series Relaxed Fit Straight Leg Carpenter Duck Jeans which fit fine. Ordered same size in different colors, and all but one pair was smaller in waist by 1-2 inches. Measured waist of old and new jeans to confirm this. Disappointed this was the case, and had to return them.

Ordered my usual size in Dickies work pants but these fit a lot bigger so I would need to order a size smaller both in length and waist.Great quality as usual for Dickies products

The inseam runs longer than other pants making the pants seem extremely baggy. The front pocket holes are way too tight.

The front pockets should be a little larger to accept ones hands with more ease.
