Quality and durability is always good, but consistency in fit and pocket size (carpenter side pockets) are never the same. Last order was same pants in 2 colors and both different fit . 1 phone fits other doesn't

I purchased 7 pair of these Jean in different colors and for the most part, they fit great. However, both black pair are extremely tighter fit around the waist then the other pairs of jeans. The black pair do not feel so relaxed. The first pair of dickies carpenter jeans I purchased about 2 1/2 years ago in Jacksonville Florida and they are truly more room in those jeans to be considered the relaxed fit. Although the newer jeans are not so loose, they are still a good buy. I would recommend these jeans, just be mindful of the fit.

Very comfortable, sturdy material, and a good value. They fit well as advertised. I am short, so I wish these were available in a 29 inch inseam, but the 30 inch is as close as I can usually find in an off-the-shelf pant. Dickies has shorter inseams available in some of their other pants, but not in the heavy-duty work pants. I am a woman, but I purchased the men's style as I needed something heavier-duty for my work. (Women's "work pants" tend not to be as sturdy and lack useful pockets that you can actually carry things in!)

Bought 2 pair a month ago and they are great. A little stiff even after a few washes. Only problem is, though i ordered both pair same color, same size, one pair is perfect while the other is tight at waist and short in the inseam.

Bought these to work in during the cooler months. Very stiff at first, takes several washings with a softener. You can't beat the durability an they are true to size. These are my 8th pair an I will continue buy.

Worn for a few weeks so far. I install all kinds of flooring and seem like they will hold up longer. Only complaint is the sizes run small usually wear a 36 waist in the original blue dickies, but these feel like 34 waist making the pocket almost impossible to put a phone in. They usually loosen up after awhile though

Great , but they can still be heaver duty. I think that they are manufacturing them in a different country or something .

I bought a couple pair of these a few years ago. They are still in great condition, so I though I better get a couple more. The side pocket (tool, ruler, cell phone) on the right side are different on one pair. My phone won't fit, it does in the other three pairs. Kind of disappointed in that.

They are tough and look more professional than carpenter jeans. These are my companies uniform pants

Good pants BUT do NOT like that the leg pocket has been narrowed - can't fit my wallet in it - was able to in past pairs :(

I've only worn these pants several times and have not washed the "new" out of them yet, however I can tell that they are a great value due to the sturdiness of their construction. My only objection is the amount of time that occurred between my ordering them and their arrival at my home.

I love these jeans for work! My only complaint is the side pocket is smaller now and my phone won't fit anymore

I bought these for my son who is 18 yrs of age and a big boy! I like the jeans because they are thick and heavy, material that holds weight very well. The one negative is the fit in the seat area. My son says that it is a little snug in the butt area. I think it is the style of jean I bought. Next time I will get the loose or baggy.

Very comfortable and rugged. Only complaint is that the pocket openings are small and it is hard to get my hand into it. The pockets are also small. Need a bigger side pocket for my cell phone.

I like the look and feel of the carpenter jeans so I decided to go with the duck style for more durability

The company bought these pants for the technicians. So far they have enjoyed them. they like the way the fit and feel.

I needed to replace my old version of these types of pants. These Dickies are great quality and exactly what I was looking for. Waist size is spot on but length came in longer than expected. Very very comfortable.

I have been wearing these jeans for years. They are the only brand left that stand up to the test all the others I have found are thin and wear rapidly in a working environment. I guess if I had a desk job and wanted to look like I get dirty the others would be fine. I just wish these were available in a 31 waist.

The pockets are too small and too close to the belt line. I had a very hard time just trying to get my phone out of the pockets

I have been using these pants for work for 5+ years and typically buy a new pair once a year. They have been identical in quality and fit up until my recent order. They were smaller in the waist and the material feels slightly thinner. They still fit but are not as comfortable to work in as the previous ones have all been.

i bought these carpenter duck jeans two different times a few weeks apart and found that the materials were different from each shipment the first were made a little more heavy duty than the second set . same model number 1939 just different made different. like the first set.
