it is too thin for a winter jacket, I don't like the stitching. as for this company, I expected much better quality

The coat is a lot thinner than it looks. Not warm enough for a Wisconsin winter. The zipper is cheap and gets stuck going up/down.

I loved this coat and kept coming back to it while online shopping. I read the reviews and the only consistent Con was problems with the Zipper. I decided to go for the coat and if it was truly a problem, I could return it. The coat is truly lovely, warm, fits well and looks like the photo on line. And yes, the zipper is an issue - At first I could not even re-zip it once I unzipped it to try on the coat. It is the type of zipper that lets you zip up from the bottom as well as the top. I think they want to let you loosen it if needed but it does create a difficult zipper to work with. I decided to keep it due to the other features but if this will drive you crazy, think twice before purchasing.

The skipper doesn't work great but aside from that I live the style and fit. True to size.

The velcro on the front of this jacket is very impractical - it gets stuck to your clothes and looks dirty all the time. Not a great design decision. Overall the jacket is nice - warm but light, so wears well.

Its so cute. I wanted to love it so bad.
The sizing is weird. I'm usually a L or XL...the XL Is huge, super huge. And the L is the right size but theres a couple issues.
Theres a seam in the breast area that cuts right across and makes a sort of "double boob"...it is not cute.
And then the puffs/pockets near the mid section make a serious poof. It looks like a giant muffin top, even if you dont have one on your body. I should have listened to the other reviews commenting on it being unflattering.
I do love the hood...

I had high hopes but not warm enough in 40F. Hate the Velcro on the outer layer up and down the whole jacket & the drawstring inside kept on sticking to the Velcro. Ended up cutting the string altogether & I can't wait to get another warm jacket that doesn't give me the heebie jeebies every time I put on it or take it off.

Always keep the jacket zipped up or the velcro will stick to your shirt and when you pull it off it will snag your shirt! I have ruined 2 new shirts in the short time of having this. I'm also disappointed that there are a few places where there is no insulation in the jacket. I had this with my cheaper (not Columbia) jacket and was hoping a Columbia one would be better.

I really wanted to like this jacket. The feel was nice, I liked the pockets and color. Ultimately I'm returning it though for these reasons: It doesn't unzip from the bottom, and on a longer coat that can be really confining, especially when you sit down; the zip and velcro will get caught on the cord to bring in the waist. I'll keep looking for the perfect coat.

The coat is nice, but I do not find it to be that warm. I think the design is not good. The velcro destroys the shirts you wear and gets stuck to the draw strings that are inside the coat. The draw strings get in the way of zipping the coat, so I find I have to tie them to each other inside the coat before I zip. I think the coat could use thumb holes, and it's a little overly puffy without the warmth it should have, and seems a little large in the arms. It's a good coat that needs to be re designed.

Fabric thin, not enough filling, drapes like a bag and the hood is underwhelming

I bought this coat a year ago. It is super warm and the length is great. The zipper broke after a year and their warranty process is a nightmare.

Poorly designed. The Velcro snags on everything. The inside string to tighten the waist gets caught in the zipper. The wrists have strings coming out.

In the beginning I love this beautiful jacket, but with the first wash time this start to deformed inside. All the stuffing accumulated in one part and it was no longer warm. I'm very disappointed because I loved this jacket, but the quality is really cheap and price is really high. I really don't recommend it.

I bought this jacket online. It fits nicely (size medium for 5' 6", 130lbs) and the hood detaches, which I wanted. I was unable to unzip it easily, when I first took it out of the box. When I did put on the jacket, I was unable-in more than 10 tries-to zip it. My husband also tried multiple times to zip the jacket-no luck!
I have returned it, sadly!
