Very warm and cozy! The first coat I've bought from Columbia. I've normally only bought the fleeces. I'll definitely buy more.

Looking forward to wearing when the weather is cooler. I dozed up to layer underneath. I'm hunk Thanks it is swell suited for NYC winter weather.

I love this jacket! I'm 5'11 160 and went with a Medium. I ordered the Large originally and ended up returning it since it was way too big. The Medium fits perfectly and will still have enough room for layers underneath. Sleeves and length are also perfect.

This winter coat is great for the price. I did extensive research on winter coats for our daughter and this Coat has everything a kid needs to survive an east coast winter while still looking nice. It is not overly puffy but it keeps you very warm. She needed a longer coat to deal with wind and snow bc her campus is on a hill. This coat covers her legs enough to keep her really warm when hiking to practice as an athlete at 5:45 a.m when temperatures are freezing. I have owned other Columbia jackets and their quality never disappoints. I would recommend this winter coat to any parent looking for a good value, high quality winter coat for their kid going to college on the east coast.

Product is great, though I initially purchased online not the right coats ended up driving 20miled to exchange coats which was ok, I think I did not receive all my taxes In my refund though but we love coats I bought the the ones with the Omni-heat in them and everybody loved them though the real winter is not upon us I think they should be good to go, I plan on returning for Omni-heat gloves soon

The only reason I gave it a 4, rather than a 5, is that the velcro (which is great to keep the coat closed) isn't that great if you're just wearing it WITHOUT zipping the coat. Sometimes, the weather dictates a coat but not all snuggled up. Honestly, I'd love to have had a 4.5 because it's a minor issue; although, when I wearing a sweater the other day, the velco kept catching on the sweater. The inside sleeves are AWESOME, going tight but comfortable at the wrist so that no air goes up the coat sleeves ... WONDERFUL DESIGN! I typically wear a size M but ordered an XL so that it could fit well over something bulkier. Even without bulkiness, I don't think a L would've been good. It does have a way to tighten at the waist ... have only had it a week or so, so haven't looked to see if that can be loosened. If the velcro issue weren't there, a definite "5." Well made and am very well pleased!

Great mid weight jacket that warms like as heavy weight jacket. It's light, fits correctly, sleeves the right length. Great pockets. I would have rated 5 stars but the middle cinch string annoyingly gets in the way of zipper operation.

Wanted something besides a black winter coat. This is a pretty shade of cream. Stylish and warm. Love that the hood and the fur trim can be removed.

I do like the coat, but the velcro gets snagged on sweaters and the drawstring.

Warm and adjustable waist, it was larger for me than expected. My only dislike is they used velcro to secure the zipper cover and placed it right next to where the pull strings are so it gets cought in the velcro when adjusting the waistline. I would suggest using the snap buttons over velcro but my guess is they did this method to cut cost. The hood is impressive tho so you can pull it forward or snap it back depending on how much of your face you want covered.

The jacket is very good but the zip doesn't work. If you think that you can find a solution for the zip then you should buy.

I am really enjoying this coat. It is longer than my previous Columbia coat, and I love the extra length. It fits well, the color is great. It is warm as I try to get through the Iowa winter weather. It shipped very quickly.

This jacket definitely keeps you warm. So far I've only been in temperatures as low as 20 degrees farenheit and it kept me warm. However, the zipper is terrible. It takes multiple tries to zip up and often gets stuck. It's a pretty bulky coat but I did size up so that I could fit layers underneath.

I bought this coat for the length and the cold winters in Eastern Washington. It has wonderful features, I ordered large in the dark blue. Very warm, fits perfectly (I'm 5'8"). As mentioned by others, the zipper is an issue, but I can make it work. Really a 5, but the zipper lowered this rating.

I haven't used it enough to know how it is with the cold. I looks really nice, but I hate the zipper.

I got the red wine color with dark navy fur hood. Pros: The coat is warm enough for >30F weather with thin layers or a thick sweater underneath. It is light-weight. Cons: For the red color, beige or brown colored fur hood would probably match better. The velcro, I think, is a major turn off. They stick to my scarf and it's hard to separate them without ruining the threads in the scarf. This also happened with some other clothes when I put it in the washing machine... Also, I noticed that the faux down/ cotton materials inside formed separate lumps after washing it...
