My only problem with this jean is the waist is too high like up to your rib cage high. That makes them uncomfortable. I don't like low jeans, but this is too much in the other direction.

The fabric was a little stiff but I'm hoping with a few washings it will soften up. The fit was good and it allowed breathing room to bend down and move easily. The legs are a bit wide but still ok to allow easy movement. If you are a gardener or a woman who does heavy cleaning or climbs a stepladder these jeans are perfect.

Bought the blue and the black. Black it perfectly, the blue was 2 sizes too small. Both were labeled the same size. Measured the waist and the blue was 4 inches less.

The waist was OK with the elastic but I had to take in the legs from the pockets to hem 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Now they fit.

These fit great in the waist and lower hips but I can barely get the zipper up. Going up a size would leave me with a loose fit in the hips.

Overall quality has gone way down! The short length is still too long. Need to bring back petite sizing. And the "denim" material is a lesser quality than Lee jeans I've puchased in the past and will most likely not hold up as well.

I thought the elastic waist inserts would make these a great choice. Not so. The sag in front below hip, length was ok but I couldn't even button comfortable the waist. I had to return.

These jeans did not fit me at all. Likely my fault because I've never tried this style before. The 2 star review was more for the shipping charged by Lee. $7.99 to ship them to me and $7.99 to ship them back. What a waste of money. I will never order directly from Lee again.

Purchased one in a smaller size (my standard size). Couldn't get it zipped and legs were huge. Got in in a larger size. Fit waist, flattened butt (which is not big) but was huge on legs. Didn't score quality badly because the quality wasn't bad. But who are they sizing for? The fit was TERRIBLE.

Please make these in regular fit straight leg.

The color was what I expected. The fabric was not what I expected. I was expecting a regular denim jean which I purchased for years. I was disappointed that LEE does not carry petite sizes anymore, these jeans are to long for me. Short length does not work for me and that is why I will not re-order again.

These jeans fit snuggly, in the waist, and were too short. I'll keep them, and roll them up, only because I hate going thru the process of returning merchandise. I much prefer to try jeans on, as they all seem to fit a little differently. No more on-line shopping!

I did not like how they fit. They were way too large and too long. Much different from the other pair of jeans I purchased.

The jeans I received do not, at all, fit like the ones pictured. The legs on the model are fitted well. The jeans I received are VERY wide legged. Not at all what I was looking for.

I have worn, for many years, the Petite Sizing of these- sadly seems as no longer available. I tried the 10Short, in liu of the 10Petite- but they are NOT equivilant. I will be returning one of the two that I purchased!

I used to buy Lee jeans all the time. Actually Lee riders at the waist with no elastic. They fit perfectly!! I can't find them anywhere anymore. You probably call them mom jeans now. I was very disappointed in the ones I purchased!!

Couple years ago I ordered same size I was wearing but as they had worn out, it was time for new ones. New ones in same size were insanely tight so finally caved and ordered next size up (meantime old and twill even new in original size fit fine). Last year order the new size and AGAIN the new ones were too tight despite the fact the old ones STILL FIT FINE. In addition, my pockets keep ripping the last few years so I think it's time to find new jeans despite how much I have loved this style with the elastic waist as they fit great (as long as made correctly).

The material was certainly stretch. And the sizing was a REAL issue. I have lipidemia so the wider leg has always been difficult to find. And my waist is 29. After loosing 90 lbs I was so excited to order new jeans. And even more to find the smaller rise/waist. And who could ask for anything better than some elastic to fit a smaller waist. I ordered an 10 hopefully they would fit. They were HUGE. Fit like a 16. I called and advised to size down to an 8. I sized down to a 6! I am swimming in them. They fit like a 16. Huge! It would be hopeless to even think about having them altered. Out of desperation I washed them in the hot water cycle and dried the hotest temperature avialable. Well, the strech was great except here. No change. Huge. I have done this 3 times hoping they would at least fit even if a bit large. So now of course after washting them and wearing them twice. I have given up. Now on a Social Security income, I get to either gift them to someone I can hopefully can wear them or donate them to a charity. The original problem remains. Now when I called again I was told I might like the wrangler brand they have. Forget that! So... now back to the original problem.... what a truely stright leg is. I would not advise anyone 5ft 8 inches to order them, I have an old pair of buckle back jeans... fun to wear. I also have a pair of OLD Classic regular jeans... Lee Riders Wonderful! Nope . Never could wear them or Levi. And goody, I don't know how to do a screen shot to upload....

I washed these jeans twice to get the shrinkage out of them . I did not wear them. The jean material over the side elastic broke apart in several areas. My other prior jeans had this problem along with wear at other places around the waist. I was hoping to have a nice pair of jeans for visiting with my family. They can't be returned due to the fact that I washed them and took off the tags.

Had to return as the sizing was too small. I used to wear exclusively Lee Jean's and still do wear the ones I havent worn out, but the sizing has changed. I havent found a pair that fits now at all. So disappointed in these. Also I didnt love the elastic band. It was bulky and I prefer the simple stretch band.

Waist was fine. The pants were very baggy from the waist down. They did not fit like normal short jeans. I have bought Lee jeans in the past that fit better.

I was disappointed with the fit. I didn't expect them to be relaxed fit. They were so baggy in the knees and wide at the ankle. I sent them back.

These jeans are very stiff fabric and do not fit like the picture. I have taken the legs in three times now to achieve the look shown in the picture, maybe 4 times will be the charm.
