Worn these for years. Ordered a size larger than I wear so I could wear tights underneath this winter. They fit okay - exactly the same fit of my smaller size - but I don't think tights underneath will work because of the incorrect sizing.

I Bought my first pair of Lee's jeans in the 1960s. They were cut for a woman's shape and were called Lady Lee's. Finally jeans for women. I have been a loyal fan ever since! This last pair was disappointing. The quality is not the same. I am saddened. I guess that is what happens as you get old: things are just not like they used to be. Raise the price; don't lower the quality!

Wearable but tight.

The waist measurement on this pair did not match the measurement on the other pair. They were both elastic waist. There was considerable difference. That was disappointing.

Lee jeans with side elastic are the only jeans I have been wearing for several years. They are the only jeans that fit me well. Don't know if the black jeans are mislabeled or if it's the material, but they are very loose. I will, however, keep them to wear around the house. When ordering again, I will definitely order a size down.

They fade fast when you wash them. I like them for work and they fit because my waist is small but hips are bigger but sometimes they fit nice and sometimes they are tighter.

The denim was heavy and stiff.

I loved the quality of the jeans but the fit was all wrong. It fit perfectly in the waist and thighs but the legs were very baggy and loose. It reminded me of farmer jeans.

The size 16 was wat too tight and the short size was about 4 inches to long i am 5"3. The quality look good. Return was very easy.

I was so excited to see my size with side elastic. When I received them, I could not even get them buttoned. I was very disappointed because I thought it would give me that little extra room I need. I had to return them but I will order the usual style that I normally get. I still love Lee brand.

The side elastic is much more prominent and the thighs on down are much fuller cut than I expected from the picture. I'll keep as a work pant because the material seems very sturdy but it isn't a fashion statement.

The length and fit of these jeans were great except that the waist was too tight. Thought there would be more "give" with the elastic, but no way.

They were about 3 inches too long for me. They also shrink when washed.

I appreciate that it comes all the way up to my natural waist. I can bend over without mooning anyone. I am glad it comes in proportioned lengths since I am tall. The reason I rated it a 3 instead of a 5 is the pocket problem. There are no hip pockets and the front pockets are so shallow as to be useless. If I put my cell phone in the pocket, it rests exactly at the bend of the hip. I have to take it out to sit down, bend over, or step up. I have misplaced my phone more times than I can count. Men's jeans have front pockets deep enough for the contents to rest against the thigh. Why don't you give women pockets that are actually functional?

I have worn Lee jeans for years and most of the time the quality is good, but the last ones I received weren't has good. One pair had a huge whole in the front pocket like it had never been sewn to start with. Another pair had a extra bulge of material in the crochet and made them look weird from being sewn wrong or something I'm not sure why it had extra material in that area. Most of the time they are fine, but sometimes they have a problem.

Material was thinner than previous black jeans I've purchased and the parts were too loose.

I thought the jeans were well made, and the style is attractive. The fit wasn't right for me. The waist was just a little higher than I needed. P.S., I ordered a size 10 Med, not the size 16 listed above

I have purchased these jeans several times. The waist is tighter this time in comparison to the last set by 2". I bought 3 pairs last time also and never wear one of the pairs so that is the one I compared the new jeans to. (I know that my waist can be bigger, so that is why I compared it to the last pair of the jeans as I explained. It just seems strange that the size would have changed so dramatically.)

I thought these were stretch jeans, I would have to get a bigger size for a better fit

The jeans are very well made and exactly what I wanted BUT - they are way to small. I usually wear a 16W so I ordered an 18 thinking it would be perfect. There is at least a 6 inch gap before I would have been able to zip them up. I'm wondering if they were miss-marked.

I like the jeans, but the sizing varies. The length for a medium seems to vary between 29 1/2" and 32". I'm not too happy with that. I never used to have to hem the jeans when I ordered a medium, but 2 of the 3 pairs I bought are going to need hemming. I would return them, but the only UPS drop off is over 30 miles away.

I am not happy with the sizing. I have bought these pants for many years. The size I ordered fit everywhere, but the length varies greatly. I ordered a size 18M in 3 different colors. The light blue inseam measured 29 1/2", the dark blue measured 31", and the black measured 32". So, the black and dark blue ones sit in my closet until I can have the hemmed. If there was a UPS drop off closer to my home, I would return them.

Too small. Love the look but need to return them.

Fits perfect when first put on. By the end of the day they are falling off my hips because of stretching .

I ordered these jeans not realizing that they were raw denim. When I tried them on they were very loose. But, because they were 100% cotton I thought I could shrink them to fit. After doing so, they are still too big through the seat and thigh. I'm afraid that if I try to shrink them again they will be too short (they shrank 2 in when I soaked them). I should have returned them rather than counting on them shrinking to the right size. I am sure they were not size 12 when I received them because they were way too loose. Therefore, I cannot recommend these jeans. I am so disappointed!
