Warmer than expected, and a little longer too. Still a nice jacket.

The jacket looks great but not as heavy as I would of liked. It's good for light cold conditions.

Warm, co at ructions seems good so far. Fleece lined pockets may not be great in wet conditions.

This jacket is for autumn, for heavy weather is not going to work

I needed to replace a Columbia coat that I had used in the fall and early spring for years. I wanted something that I could wear in 50 to 20-15 degree weather, so not too heavy. This coat is pretty much perfect for what I require and stylish too. I've received numerous compliments. My only complaint is that it runs pretty big. I'm 5'11 220 lbs and with clothing generally wear XL. With Columbia outerwear I wear L typically. This coat is L and still fits me quite large. The sleeves are long and about at the limit of fitting me and the body is a little bit longer than I would like. To me, it fits more like an XL. All this being said, overall I'm pleased with the coat.

jacket is okey, although colour is bit off (ordered stone green)to my mind, i bought it for my father for his birthday and he was pretty happy with it. sizing is also correct , he wears L and it turned out correct in his case

This is a very nice jacket with padded lining that is very warm. It may get too warm if the weather isn't below 50F. I wish there were pockets on the inside lining.

I bought this Gate Racer jacket for my daily commute in my car to my office, I needed something light, and I found it adequate for my needs. It is lighter than my other Columbia Field jackets that I wear when I go on field trips. I'm aware that the head cover is not detachable, and that's what I was looking for, basic design for daily use, plain color that can fit my office attire. I'm a 6 ft 180 lbs 34" waist, the L size is perfect for me since I'm not intending to bundle anything under it. I only go XL size with my Columbia winter adventure jackets so I can bundle and double bundle underneath yet so I can sleep comfortably in the tent. But for my daily work commute I go "L". I like the top deep pocket it easily swallow my 6-in cell phone. I give this jacket only four stars because the black color I ordered is off black and your eye get tricked that it is a very dark green when you wear it indoor.

The jacket is very nice and really warm. Seems of excellent quality. Shipping is long. Took almost 2 weeks to receive it.

I purchased this jacket in an xlt for my son. He is 6'6" and 245 lbs. He has a 39" sleeve length. The jacket fit perfect. I only wish the zipper was more heavy duty as it's difficult to get it started to zipper up.

Overall I really like this jacket. It's definitely pretty long in length and the sleeves. Almost as if I had bought a tall. The quality is great though and this jacket is a perfect mid-weight. Wear it with short sleeves on most days but when it's really cold added a sweater or hoodie does the trick.

I have multiple upper body Columbia items of clothing and have always worn Large Tall (LT). This jacket is sized very differently. The body was longer than previous LT size jackets I have bought, but I am okay with that. However, the arms were super long, totally covering my hands, making this jacket unwearable. Frustrating that it cost me money to return when there is such a change in the sizing.

Nice jacket but am a bit disappointed that it's not a typical soft-shell material that has some built in stretch to it like the Apex jacket. Instead the outer material is a polyester with no noticeable stretch at all. I guess it's okay with me because it fits fine and looks nice. The slippery material inside the sleeves helps with mobility a bit.

Nothing special but does the job. Good for the price. Quite large.

Material is fine, the fit is way too big. It does make you feel so small. Kind of feels like you are wearing a jacket that you found in a garage sale, rather than a good fit jacket. This is definitely made for tall people.

Unfortunately i don't received my order, order in progress still. Money don't refund, i am very upset, my husband was looking forward to this jacket. If you have any information about my order, please emailed me. I'm sure this is an annoying misunderstan
