My whole family have the soft shell coats and we love them. This is first time I've seen one with a hood so ordered for my son. It's great! He is 6' 6" and 170 lbs so the large tall fit him perfectly. Love that Columbia has great fitting clothes for tall, thin people. Going yo get the hooded coat for-me and my husband.

One of the best jackets columbia makes Its really warm but very light weight and you don't over heat in it!! GOOD JACKET!! I own 6 of these jackets DIfferent colors

I'm rather pleased with this jacket. Its a tad on the big side, but that's fine with me. It fits well with a hoodie under it or just a regular shirt. Its not warm enough for very cold winter days, but its fine for temps in the thirties and upper twenties. The drawstrings on the bottom and adjustable wrist cuffs are nice and come in handy.

Outstanding for medium cold and wet conditions. The inner lining is much softer and warmer than my last softshell which this replaced after over a decade. I expect another 10+ good years with this one.

I bought this coat for my husband that needed a black coat (to match most things) for winter since he never buys himself any. It is well made, fit him well and should do the job when the cold temperatures return in the near future.
