I'm a retired home builder but am still very active. I have worn Lee carpenter jeans for decades. They are durable and fit me perfectly. I used the hammer loop when I didn't need to wear a nail apron so I'm glad it's still there. We don't put a folding ruler in the pockets anymore but the pockets are great for a utility knives, screwdrivers, cheater glasses, etc. I have always complained about the zipper being too short. It makes doing one's business difficult. I took the time to measure these compared to Levis 550 and these zippers are 1-5/8 inches shorter. If that was fixed, these carpenter jeans would be perfect.

I use the britches to cover my calves, thighs and private areas while out in public. They come in handy while working on my farm as well. Great product.

Definitely is too thin for a pair of painter/work jeans, which is my biggest complaint. Don't get me wrong, I live Lee jeans, just not the painter jean.

The quality was great as usual and I will buy more in the future because of that. But I needed a Size 37 Waist, but odd sizes stop at 35. And as a result, they are a bit loose on me. There are people of all sizes and I truly don't understand why 47, 39, 41. 43, etc., aren't made for the convenience of all who need certain sizes and have to settle with loose fitting pants that aren't fully comfortable!

The pants are what I am looking for. I like the look and the multiple pockets. The only downside is that in the picture description they look black instead of dark blue. I bought two pairs based on the picture. I sent one pair back because of that.

My husband takes a 28" length jean. Surely he can't be the only one taking that size yet I cannot find a carpenter jean in that length. I'll just take them to the tailor to be hemmed up, which is a shame to add that cost onto the cost of the jeans. Please consider offering your carpenter jeans.... and almost all other men's jeans you carry in a 28" length. Thank you.

Nice weight denim, cool stitching. Had to shorten further. Enjoying these.

Very durable work jeans

I bought a pair to do yard work and they feel great! Like them so much I bought 2 more pair because they are comfortable and loose.

The Quartz Stone color looks black in the pictures. But it is just a slightly (I mean very slightly) darker shade of blue than the Stone Washed.. Side by side and it's almost impossible to tell the difference. Luckily I did not pay extra for the pair I thought were black, but are actually blue. So instead of a black pair and a blue pair that I wanted, I bought two blue pairs of pants...

Great product, side carpenter pocket needs to be a bit larger.

On line they look black, but they're blue.

Not sure how it happened but there is a hole in the lower left pant leg and do not remember it getting caught on anything that would create the hole. This is not a tear but a hole. The material does not appear to be as strong as previous versions of Lee jeans.

For working around the home and shop

I'm a customer that likes to try on my clothes before I make the purchase. There's a reason for this; companies size differently. There are three brands from which I purchase pants with Lee being one of those brands. I find that Lee's sizing process seems to be the most accurate to my measurements. When I shop for the other two brands, I make certain that I'm trying them on and making the purchase in store. Lee is of excellent quality. I own several pair of Lee jeans that I've had for many years and they're still in excellent condition

The pants are otherwise great pants, except they are not as dark as the picture shows. That was very disappointing, but I'll still wear them even though they just look like regular hued blue jeans instead of the dark color advertised

I like the way Lee carpenter jeans feel and wear. I thought I was buying loose fit but these are Very Loose. I have been wearing the Lee Carpenter jeans for over 30years. I cannot find any in my size and color in any store.
