Wear jeans to work. Good fit will order more.

I purchased jeans for casual wear but they are very loose.

I have been wearing Lee Carpenter jeans for several years. I switched from Wranglers because of the inclusion of the folding rule pocket on the right side of the leg in the Carpenters. This pocket serves me well to hold my cell phone. The basic pants are very high quality and have held up well. But to me the most important feature is the pocket for my phone. I've ordered several pairs in 2024 where this pocket was slightly reduced in size to the point where my phone fit into some pairs but not in others. This hadn't been a problem before. I assume Lee has let down their dimensional standards. If I could find another Jeans manufacturer that produces Carpenter jeans I would likely switch. It would be better if Lee would correct this problem but I would be surprised if they consider this issue worth their trouble.

I wear these jeans everywhere. Even to work. I love how they look w/ my skinny legs. Thank you

Only observation I can make is that they are only a tad bit snug, compared to the non-stone washed ones

These loose fitting pants are great for lightweight work. Pocket for a phone.

I have been wearing Lee Carpenter jeans for over 50-years and even before that I was in Lee Riders and Lee Westerners. This is the first pair I've purchased on-line and was somewhat disappointed to find they were no longer 100% cotton fabric. I wear these as my summer jeans for the coolness the lighter fabric and loose fit provide compared to my other lifetime jeans Levi's 501s. I hope I still feel the same about this polyester blend as I have about my past decades of Lee Carpenter jeans when I get the chance to try them out in the Virginia summer climate. Otherwise I may have to revisit the rating! Any comment from Lee about this change in fabric? Is there still a 100% cotton version available today?

Belt loop missing. Fits to loose

Belt loop was missing., did not fit well

I originally started buying these jeans for my brother about 5 years ago. Back then they were 100% cotton and not a blend, like they are now. He loved how they fit, but was disappointed that they were no longer 100% cotton, as they hold up a bit longer, and were heavier weight. Are there still carpenter jeans available to purchase that are ALL cotton?

The rider jeans were perfect, specifically the seventh (coin) pocket. Small wallet with CC, license and/or key fob - perfect. Why did Lee re-size the newer style pocket to hold nothing, barely a few coins?

So far the jeans are great. We will see how they hold up, especially the belt loops.

The only thing I've noticed is that after buying LEE carpenter jeans for years now. Is that the pockets seem a bit shorter in length. Otherwise they fit good as usual. That's why I keep buying them.

Bought these already and have had a few pair for 3 or 4 years. All are still in perfect shape with no holes. Only reason I'm buying more is because I gained weight and had to move up a size. They are pretty nice fit, id say almost perfect. I think mostly it depends on which pockets you use and how you fill them as to how they feel.

I like Lee Jeans.

I've been wearing lee carpenter jeans at work as a lineman for 26 years now. And although I must say the quality of the fabric is the same as it was, that can be said for almost any product now a days. Having said that the price for lee jeans is so fair compared to the carhartts etc of the world you can't go wrong. My oldest pairs have held up over hundreds of washes. It has endured mud, grease, rain, scrapping and rubbing up against harsh materials. The only part I wish was somehow reinforced with stringer or extra denim is the knees. But I believe this are made more for fashion than for the actual job site so I understand. The many pockets are invaluable for tools, pens your wallet, cell phone, small parts, electrical tape and etc. The belt loops fit larger belts with no issue. The zipper and top bottom are virtually indestructible. Lee up the good work Lee jeans.

I've purchased probably 30-35 pairs of these jeans over the last few years and every pair starts out well. But after a few washes there comes up on the right pant leg a memory seam about 2" to the right from the inseam. I wash, fold and hang my jeans a certain way. I have pictures of new and older pants if you want to see them

For work they are good

I like the fabric and the quality of these carpenter jeans a lot. They are sized small. I am a very standard 34 and I had to get a pair of 35 W and they are still a little tight. Wish they fitted better but they're still nice and I got them at a ridiculous price.

They are my everyday jeans. Very comfortable, good fit, fairly durable. I typically wear a hole through a back pocket and between the legs. A pair will last me a little over a year on average.

So I ordered 3 pairs of Lee Carpenter jeans. I do suggest that of you do order Jeans that you get one less on length than you usually do. I usually wear 38 x 32 and the waist fits amazing. They also don't feel tight when I am working on a truck or doing anything which is perfect. The only issue I had was the length was more like a 34 or 36 rather than a 32. So without boots or shoes on they are super long in length. With boots they still are pretty baggy, but they don't get caught under your boots or shoes. All in all the jeans are really comfortable and good quality. Definitely going to buy more when I need more work jeans in the future.

these carpenter jeans appeared to be of quality materials & workmanship - but, for the size I normally wear/ordered was extremely loose fit. Thus, returned product.
