Normally size 6 is a bit too long, but this size 6 is perfect, just a tiny bit shorter than most..... exactly what I need. They come with 3 different insoles - don't know of anybody else who does this. I will definitely be getting another pair.

They were really comfortable but they looked so bulky. I would have kept them if they were all black, including the laces and the trim.

They look and feel like combat boots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt the shoe ran short.

This shoe ran small. I have never worn more than an 8.5 to 9. This was a 9.5 need the 10

I decided to try this shoe to deal with my various foot/knee/back issues, but it did not work for me. The insole was too hard for me, it did not have enough cushion. I have the same problem with Vionic - it may be a well designed footbed, but it's too hard and I need more cushion to support the impact. I like the wide toe bed and the fit was pretty good, but slightly short for my toes so I would have tried a half size larger if I had found them to be supportive enough.

I’ve thought I would try these shoes because I am running out of options for my post op supinating foot. These are sturdy for sure and keep the heel in place. With my orthotic though, they still supinate too much and are tight at the forefoot.

I absolutely loved these shoes when I was sitting they were so comfortable. I thought I found the best sneakers. Unfortunately, the arch support was so high it kept dragging my weight to the right. I realized if you have problems with Zappos products call customer support. You have to return the sneakers now in good condition or your stuck with them. The girl I spoke to said take the insoles out which I did and they come with other arch supports but the insoles only go down a little bit. I have very high arches because my mother put stride rite shoes on my feet. I don't have problems with my feet. But like I said the arch support is very uncomfortable. I am very sorry that I have to return them. My feet are different now because I do exercise 3 times a week and an hour each day. I think I have very strong feet that may have also been the problem.

The fit was snug and size was smaller than I thought it would be. Not as cushiony as I wanted/thought it would be. Should have ordered my previous brand.

The reviewer who spoke of the lack of women's sizes was right on. I normally wear an 11 in a closed shoe, and this 11, while wide enough in the WW, was definitely short in length and I must return them. If this shoe had been long enough, it would have been a winner: supportive, nice looking, no complaints, except that you don't make one long enough for me.

I ordered a wide width thinking it would frame my foot more comfortably. Unfortunately I am having to use both inserts and cinching the laces much tighter than I normally would. I should have stuck with a regular width shoe.

Unfortunately I cannot give a favorable opinion. The shoes were very narrow and my feet are super thin. I can't wear them because they mistreat me a lot and my feet are more sore than they already are with the other shoes. I can only say that the model is beautiful.

The fit was poor for me. The shoe is heavy and narrow. I thought they were "clunky" looking.

I wear a size eleven and even with a wide these shoes were just a little too snug. While they would have been fine with thin socks, thicker socks would be out of the question. Main reason for returning though was the back collar of the shoe is too bulky and got wrinkled up when I walked. I was really hoping these shoes would work for me.

I bought these shoes in March. In May, I gave the shoes away because they were causing me pain when I wore them. The pain went away when I stopped wearing the shoes. After giving them away, I contacted Gdefy customer support to see if they might have any insights into the problem that I had experienced. I contacted them by email on May 10th. I have never received a response. I had previously purchased Gravity Defyer shoes for others and they seemed to love them. I, personally, will never buy another pair for myself - especially with no customer service response from Gdefy. Please note that I contacted the shoe manufacturer - Gravity Defyer, not the place where I bought them as I was NOT looking for a refund or replacement. Zappos has always been excellent to deal with. In the future, I will buy from Zappos. I just won't buy Gravity Defyer brand.

Great product for the need of healthy support. Felt a little high, but comfortable. Planning to look for another style

I love this shoe. It's looks even better than I thought. I wear 8.5 but was advised to size up by a friend & I'm glad I did. It fits perfectly.

The most comfortable walking sneakers I"ve ever had - this is my second pair. They stand up to my 2 1/2 mile walk every day for 2 years!

Ii was great from the first try. they are very light weight and comfortable

I was skeptical because it said you may have discomfort to begin with because of realignment but I am very glad I tried them because I can walk forever with these on. I used the second layer for a snugger fit and it was perfect.

i have extra wide feet but these shoes were very comfortable.

These are comfortable and need little breaking in. I wish they were a smidge wider, but they are enough.
