Overall too big, especially in heel area. top outer edge of shoe rubbed against the bottom my ankle

These were too big overall. In addition, the top outside edge of the shoe rubbed against my ankle.

This is my first wearing of a Vionic shoe; I initially purchased the 9.5 wide, which is my normal size, and had to return due to the fact the shoe was so very big. My chosen color wasn't available, so I bought this neutral cream color, in a smaller size. I SHOULD HAVE BELIEVED THE REVIEWS, I wore these to an occasion only to consistently slide out of the back of the shoe, almost tripping; the shoes also rubbed blisters on the insides of both heels, and were still TOO BIG. The wideness of my feet is in the forefront, not the heel. I was up against a time constraint, and had to wear them, otherwise I would have returned. Sadly, these will be donated, and hopefully will be discovered by their person with WIDE, WIDE feet.

The blue with pale blue sole is so pretty, but sadly just a complete miss in comfort and fit. Toebox too tight across the wide part of the foot, and the heel way too wide. I walked out of them in the few steps I tried to take, although they are the right size (correct length, any smaller and I couldn't get my foot in at all). That hurt my heel even through trouser socks, and the upper being stiff cut into my forefoot and made a visible crease -- all in only a few steps. No way these could last even 15 minutes of real world use for me. Zero arch support in the right shoe, as if it has a defect in the inner sole that the consumer can't adjust (high lump in the heel but no arch support at all; left shoe has no heel lump and good arch support, FWIW). Other concerns: the sole being a pale blue is adorable, but the material it's made of is a magnet for dust ,dirt and pet hair. Literally attracted pet hair before I even put them on, and were very hard to clean off after 4-5 steps on clean hardwood floor before I carefully packaged them back up to return. Also: Zappos, we all love your return policy but please stop shipping loose shoe boxes in plastic bags that get crushed and damaged. Now I'm returning a box that arrived crushed and with visible water damage. The bag was ripped and full of holes because *it's a thin plastic bag with a pointy box inside*. Duh. Please do better.

A very classy shoe, but be warned: This shoe is VERY stiff with absolutely no give. I ordered my usual 8M and could not get my foot into one. I don't think a wider shoe would suffice, as the total stiffness would remain. I cannot see myself, should I even get the shoes on, being able to wear these for any length of time. Usually Vionic shoes are FAR more forgiving. Sadly, I am returning these.

I had the same problem several others have had where the heel is too wide and I walk out of the shoes even when the front is snug. I want to give a shout out to Zappos though, this is the 8th pair of loafers (different brands) I've tried in the past two weeks that I've had to return for one reason or another. Only with Zappos can you do that. So thank you Zappos! I will try again in a couple of months.

This was a very uncomfortable shoe for me. It was too short and squashed my big toe. The arch support was way too hard and very painful to walk on.

I love the look of these shoes - casual but elegant with just the right size heel for easy walking. BUT, unfortunately, they slipped off of the heels (as others have mentioned in reviews). I ordered a size down, but I had the same issue. So, with great regret, I am returning both pairs.

Very cute but the sizing is totally wrong. I'm a true 6 and this was at least a size too big in heel, length, and width. There was no 5 1/2 and I tried a 5 and it was too small. It's too bad because it's so cute

Oh how I wanted to love these shoes. The style is exactly what I was looking for, the leather is soft and even the heel is lined with the same soft leather. The toe box was nice and wide but the biggest problem is the heel. I do not normally have an issue with shoes flopping off my heel but I tried 2 different sizes and the heel is unusually wide and just slips off. It is actually unsafe for me to walk in these shoes. I wish they fit better as they really are beautiful shoes.

Ran at least a half size larger than expected. I should have researched the shoe before buying it. So sad I can’t return them and get an 8 medium.

Do not buy! The worst ever. My normal size too big sized 1/2 down. At 1st felt perfect. Stretched out so much within 5 mins I wore w thick sock just to keep them on. I wore them unfortunately.

I ordered the same size I always ordered in the past 6-1/2 W, but this pair is huge. It seems that there're no quality control any more.

Wish I could have kept these shoes. I liked the color and the style; however, one shoe seemed like a completely larger size while the other shoe fit perfectly. This is the problem I have with Vionic shoes. I never know whether they will actually fit properly. .

Wanted to love this shoe but 7.5 (my usual size) was too big and size 7 was too small. If it fit, I think it would have been comfortable.

This is a great shoe that is so comfy and I can wear it for work. Love it!

I'm sure they're great shoes. I had to select "wide" for the size I wanted, and they're just too wide for my feet. My bad.

Lovely shoes, was so excited to try on, only to find that they were a whole size too big. Returning, and reordering a smaller size today.

I love this loafer and have it in several colors. They look great with ankle jeans and long skirts!

Great fit. Very comfortable.

Beautiful and comfortable shoe that can take you from work to after hours. Shoe runs a tad big so I would recommend sizing down.

Gorgeous shoe. I love the added touch of the nubuck heel accent. Fit is too wide in the heel, causing the shoe to slip slightly, although the length is fine and the front width is fine (I wear a medium width). I added a heel cushion and that makes them wearable.
