Size 8 - 8.5 would have been my usual size. The arch support was great, but didn't align with where my arch is on my actual foot without a big over-space at the toe. Ordered down to the 7 - 7.5 and I am good to go. Smaller size also meant a smaller toe loop, which is great for sideways slippage.

The toe loop was too small.

This is a pretty shoe. But what I never experienced before with a shoe, was that my feet were sliding to the inside of my leg. So my foot never sat in the middle of the shoe. Too bad, it had to go back.

Well, let’s start by saying that my feet are exceptionally problematic; I have flat feet, bunions and my forefeet are wide whereas the rest of my feet are normal in terms of width. So if I can walk in these sandals and feels pretty comfortable says a lot about them. Arch support could have been more/better and the sandal itself is a bit too heavy. If Taos will fix these two issues for next season I will buy them in another color ,not black though.

The toe loop is a bit funky…

I am usually a 7.5+ but not quite an 8, so I went with the 8-8.5 to be safe. it was at least 1/2 size larger. Can’t wait for my 7.0-7.5 to arrive. They are beautiful and well made!

I love Taos shoes however as badly as I wanted to keep these very cute sandals.....I could not. My slightly wider than most toes-hung slightly over the side and just did not look right nor feel comfortable. Once again, These are not offered in a wide....so back they go!

Unfortunately, these didn’t come close to fitting my wide foot, which is not excessively wide but I do have a high instep. I thought the adjustable velcro strap would make a difference but it was quite short.

I love the shoe design and craftsmanship; however, it did not fit my foot well (not designed for folks with large toes or a high arch)

These are really well made and attractive but I wish this style came in a Wide because they are too narrow for me. Also, I am a pretty solid 8 1/2 and the 8-8.5 is too small.

Did not look right with outfit

Loved the shoes, but not for the price.

A very nice shoe, super cute and comfy. The off white color is very nice. I returned it because it was a teeny tiny bit too narrow and short at the toe area. I'm talking just a smidge, but I can't stand it if I think my toe might slightly hang off...

These shoes are lovely and feel great on right out of the box. The sole where the toes rest was just a smidge too narrow, and I can't hang with any toe hanging off the shoe. So for that reason only I will return.

I love the fact that there is a velcro adjustment to the width of the sandal as my feet tend to be on the narrow side. The arch support of all Taos Sandals is great. (I have 5 other pairs). Very attractive styling and excellent quality.

My biggest problem with this sandal is that the toe loop is too tight for my toes, and thus my foot couldn't stretch out and the whole fit didn't work for me. Also not crazy about the heel, as I trip alot on flat heels! Returned.

Perhaps my low opinion is based on the poor fit. I am all over the map with Taos sizing, and these were far too big. The foot bed is very narrow. Even if they had been the correct length I don't think I would have felt secure in them. The leather was lovely and soft, but it formed a bulge- again perhaps a function of fit.

I love the shoe, but it didn't fit well. The size 39 was shorter than other 39s I own, and the width was too narrow with the edge of my foot slightly over the side of the shoe. I had to return them.

too wide

I'm sad to say these will have to be returned. I have lusted over these shoes since the first time I saw them and was very disappointed to receive a defective pair. The toe loop on one shoe was sewn slightly different which was just enough to make the loop smaller and that made the edge sit on my cuticle and rub.

I have a wide foot but could not adjust the strap tight enough for feel secure.

Cute sandal. Didn't work with my bunion.

Very weird fit for me. The heel almost hung off the shoe while there was about an inch empty in the front. They’re going back.
