I would give them 5 stars except for the belief they are somewhat undersized. A half size larger was needed compared to my other shoes. It would be good if they were available in a wide width also. The shoes are very comfortable. This being my second pair of the same shoe I know they are well made and durable.

I have wide feet and went half size up. Barely fits, it's tight around the toe box but hopefully it'll loosen up on its own. Great grip, especially on dusty boulders. it's convex shaped on the bottom, providing a rocking motion.

Excellent, very light practical shoe. Good traction and nice fit when ordering a half size up. Only issue was unique tongue that allows quick lacing has a piece of fabric adhering to shoe that can irritate ankle if not properly adjusted.

Wanted them for midwest winter shoes. Pros: comfortable and look good Cons: rocker sole odd for standing, noisy material, squeaky on hard floor. I have an 11 inch long foot, and a size 11 length was good. Width was average with no pinch in the toe box. I sent them back, my search continues.

Comfortable shoes, but I have don joy arch orthodic soles in as I replaced the originals immediately. I can't speak to the original soles. The shoes feel comfortable and I like the look. Used for casual walking and wear throughout the day. I haven't tried outdoor hiking or tested the water proofing yet. They sit higher than an Addidas shoe and they have a roll in front and back to go with your stride cadence. I really like the colors and overall look. I'm worried about how long the waterproofing will last.

Great traction! It runs narrow so maybe go up 1/2 a size.

I use it for hiking I'm just hoping the sole last . Other than that so far so good. Like the curve design of the sole.

Great shoes, but ultimately water does seep through if you're in the pouring rain for hours on end.

Walking in Ireland's rain. Shoe felt a little tight across the bridge if the foot initially but then had just enough give to create that nice fit feeling. Sure did a wonderful job keeping my feet dry!

Great shoes, but as with other North Face shoes, the laces break way too easily and they do not offer replacements.

So far so good! I purchased these shoes for light hiking, and to keep my feet dry when walking in wet conditions. They have been working great for that.I didn't expect them to have such good foot support. Very happy!

Once I adjusted the laces to my liking, the shoes performed admirably. The Cape Flattery trail on the Olympic Peninsula gave them a basic test over variable surface and grade, and they proved worthy. Since they're waterproof, they do get slightly warm,.but not as bad as others I've worn, and this is summer hiking. The laces really stay in place but on the other hand they are tight and not very easy to adjust

This is my third pair of North Face hiking footwear in less than a year, and one of the best pairs of shoes I've ever worn. I've been a fan since buying my first pair of NF hiking boots this past winter, which I loved so much I bought another pair so I didn't wear them out too fast. The big arch support and shape of the insole in this shoe helps propel you along trails at a good clip and provides above average traction on rocky terrain. My only complaint is that the tread seems to be wearing out sooner than I had hoped, but I've been on a hike in them almost every day since I received them. They're light and comfortable, and surprisingly fairly water resistant if you don't fully submerge. Great shoes for summer hiking and exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely purchase again, hopefully with more color options available.

Love the rocking feature. Very comfortable. The shoelace eyelet should be reconsidered and redesigned.

Great shoes, but size 13 fits small. I have always been a size 12, but in the last 8-10 years, I need to buy size 13 for athletic shoes. My toes are right at the end of the show so I likely won't be hiking with them, just using them for around town.
