The leather on the back digs into the top of your heel. Good shoe except that. I don't understand why Cole Haan hasn't already addressed this.

Like the shoe, but terrible blisters after wearing

Well made shoe. The fit was very narrow. My pinky toes circulation felt like it was cut off.

The only reason I put a 3 down is because your going woke and taking pride in the pride month and that is not good business. If you go woke you will lode business!

I own several pairs of your shoes, this one missed the mark on fit, feel, and comfort.

I love all things Cole Haan, and these shoes are no different. They LOOK fantastic, but I found the heel to rub a bit. This is the first pair of CH shoes I have (and I have many) that do this.

It's an incredible looking shoe. My only problems with it so far are that it runs a little longer than other shoes and a little tighter. I'm currently breaking in the leather heel and it's been kind of a struggle. I have to swap back to my old shoes to give my heel time to heal.

It's rough on the heel and needs to be broken in.

Shoe is hard and caused pain

Beautiful shoe but your heel will be destroyed after one wear. Had to spend an entire day walking at work with napkins in my shoe to make it through the day. Unfortunate

Sized significantly smaller than prior zero grand shoes and no notice in this regard.

Bought these as my other pair was getting old and decided to try something new. I have some Nike running shoes that are the mesh and absultuley love the fit and comfort they provide. When i got these in the mail (extremely quickly) I had some initial things I thought would be a problem, and they are. The bad. After wearing these for the first time i had on thin dress socks, by the end of the day my achilis was in some serious uncomfortable pain as the back has no cushioning against the stiff leather, acting as a scraper on your skin. The next day i though maybe it just needs some time. I have been wearing thicker socks for a week or so now and its actually destroying my socks. These would be perfect without that leather on the back and its really dissapointing as now i have to shop for another shoe.

My feet are busted and I'm struggling to walk as I break them in. Can't return them because of the blood on the inside after the first day so I'm just going to try and make it work. I will be returning my other pair before I even try them on. They look really nice though so that's why I went with two stars.

The shoes look great in person. I did not expect to see my socks through the holes in the uppers, but that's no big deal. The soles are well cushioned and would be great for long walks but... What really hurts these shoes is that they made my feet bleed at the Achilles tendon. The rear supporting leather piece really dug into my skin and tore it open during work (I work in a standing job, not much walking, ~ 3000 steps per day). Now I have to wear a bandaid on my feet everytime I want to wear these shoes.

Worst shoe I've bought..

The back is so stiff it's giving my ankle blisters. Never had that with your shoes before.

The older versions of this shoe were extremely comfortable. These take that away. They look nice, but too uncomfortable for me. On the plus side they soles have much better grip than the older versions.

Not worth the money they gave me blisters and are not nearly as comfortable as other brands

Back of shoe cuts into top of heal.

These shoes are generally comfortable but the rear of the shoe rubs and digs relentlessly into my heel making them almost unwearable. I have to remember to wear bandaids on days I wear these.

Blister the back of my foot!

The shoe itself is comfortable. The back of the shoe causes rubbing at the ankle. By the time I got home I had bled through my sock. Cole Hanns are always very comfortable, not sure if there is a defect with this particular shoe.
