Just ehhhhhh. Not a great style overall, not great support in the arch area. This style is running about half a size larger than the old Asics models. But most Americans are buying larger shoes these days, so that makes sense. I tried these on for about 10 minutes, and my feet could not get any "purchase" and I felt like I had no arch support whatsoever. I did end up purchasing the Asics Gel Kayano 27 in a size 6, half a size smaller. Now the Kayanos provide great arch support and are super comfortable. But I did go down a half size. Note this if you have narrower feet. I have super high arches and my feet LOVE the new Kayanos. If you have flatter feet / wider feet, the Gel Nimbus might be your cup of tea.

I liked these asics. The style & color were great & seemed like great quality. But they were a little too short so I had to return

I really wanted to like this shoe that was recommended among others on a list from my physical therapist. I'm usually a 9.5 in my sneakers but I realize my feet are changing with age and weight. The 9.5 wasn't long enough for the toes, really, and my left pinky toe was going to rub, I could tell. I exchanged for the 10, and although that improved the toe box, suddenly my big toe on the right foot was running up against the front. I could also tell that the ankle interior was a bit hard on the inside and outside of the ankle and were going to end up rubbing (based on years of experience). I considered going another half size up, but I'm wearing my daughter's Nikes in a size 10 right now and they're fine. I'm experiencing plantar fasciitis in my left foot, which is the same foot where I broke three bones 20 years ago, but I'm not sure I want to keep going through the exchange process (like, up to a 10.5) in this shoe. Especially since they're making me call in order to exchange or return this time around, which is not convenient hours for me.

Didn't like. This shoe is like putting your foot in a tube.

The shoe is as good as ever but despite ordering the same size I have had for the last 3 years the shoe appears to be larger than previous models so the fit is not so good.

They come up a bit small and I was expecting a bit more comfort and cushioning. When I did my first run in them, I was a bit disappointed as I did a lot of research before buying these over a pair of Brooks, they really aren't that comfortable and haven't helped with my shin splints. I'm afraid I'll be going back to Brooks when this pair needs replacing

Order at least 1/2 size larger . I personally use only ASICS sneakers and I have always been a size 81/2 for years however, this sneaker runs small

at the beginning it was uncomfortable and stiff. i was expecting a softer footbed with much cushion but it was the complete opposite. i dont use this for running, i am actually a nurse with 12 hr shifts and has pronation issues thats why i purchased this product with the hopes that it will help out during longer shifts. i requested to make an exchange when i used it once but i was denied due to covid. i gave it 3 stars because the company did not accomodate the exchange and because it was not supportive as i thought it would be.
overall i still use it along with the other shoes that i have. i paid for it so i will make use of it.
i guess not all asics products is for everyone. so choose the shoes that you purchase carefully. if you can, go to outlets to try them out. i regret that i was unable to do so.

I had to return these, they were the first pair of Asics i have had to return due to "Not True To Size" issue. I loved the shoe and would have sized up from 6.5M to 7M but it was "out of stock"/ Thank you Zappos for your customer service excellence. I have now read many reviews about same issue. So bottom line is: SIZE UP FOLKS! or choose another model.....

Runs small had to return. I always wear the same size in ASICS, but my toes hit the front in these shoes.

The shoe is super light weight and loved the style however the fit was way too tight and left foot felt too short (mind you my left foot is the lighter larger one). I have been using Asics consistently for like 10 yrs 3 pairs within that time frame with my size being 6.5 but this Gel-Nimbus 22 was super tight and short fitting. I will order a half size up and see how it works out. Zappos was amazing at customer service as always. Thanks again Zappos bcs being that shopping online can sometimes be fickle.

Comfort is good, 18 was better! Toe box too small which makes me loosen the strings which then become too short! Hate the new grey color, too light = too dirty! Bring back the charcoal color

They are a good trainer but for me the heel is to high, there was nothing under my arch to support it

The toe box feels larger than the previous models. However, the foot bed feels more stiff and not as cushioned. I like the nimbus 17 model the best and wish asics would create a similar design in terms of cushioning and fit.

My sister raved about her Gel-Nimbus sneakers, so much that I ordered a pair for myself. Zappos recommended size 8.5, and despite the fact I normally wear an 8 in running shoes, I ordered the larger size. The cushioning is amazing, and it wasn't until I wore the shoes on walks a few times that I realized they are much too wide, high, and long for my narrow-heeled, low-volume foot. I wear thick socks and have two insoles (theirs and mine) in them and still have to cinch up the laces toward front and rear to keep my foot from sliding forward and slipping out of the heel on hills. It is a real effort getting my feet ready to go out, but once I am properly suited up, so to speak, the walk is comfortable and I don't remove my shoes until the end of the day. I have mixed feelings; am getting ready to try an 8 to see whether that will let my foot stay inside--then I can retire these for street wear.

Nimbus 22 doesn't seem as cushioned as Nimbus 21. My left arch is bothering me since running in 22s.

These are comfy, I really like how they look but there's one major problem. The part at the heel is really soft so you need a show horn to put them on so it doesn't crumple and bunch at your heel which leads to blisters. Previous ASICS I've had have better structure.

For a wide width, this had a very small toe box. My small toe and knuckle protruded from the box as soon as I put them on. Disappointed since this came up as a good shoe for underpronation / supination. I had to return them. I might try Brooks Dyad 11 or Saucony Integrity Walker 3

This shoe runs small, does not have usual arch support that I have learned to expect from ASICS. My feet hurt after wearing them on a long day, but they look dang good.

I have been running in nimbus shoes for over ten years. When I first put on a new pair of nimbus shoes it was like each toe had its own pillow. Amazing! They continued to be amazing through series 18. Series 19 was a disaster. You couldn't pay me enough to buy a second pair of them. The toe box was too narrow and the cushioning gone. I tried a few other shoes put they didn't have the arch support I needed even if they had the cushioning I wanted. Each series since then has been a little better because the toe box has gotten a little roomier, but I don't understand why ASICS has completely neglected the ultra cushion that the nimbus is known for. Please go back to the 18!!!!!!

They are really comfortable when you first buy them. It feels like walking on cushions, but they seem to wear out quickly. Also, they seem to be 1/8" shorter than the 20s. Even old and worn out the 20s are more comfortable. I wish they would stop messing with the engineering and leave the old styles to purchase.

This shoe was too cushioned, heavy, and bulky for me. I have a small frame, and the Nimbus is just too much shoe. I found the padding around the ankle so excessive that it was uncomfortable, and while the shoe fit, it felt and looked bulky and big all around. That said, it does have excellent cushioning and good arch support. It might work for others with a different body type or different needs. I wanted something for everyday wear and this was just too much shoe.

Disappointed these were a half size too small. I am consistently a size 8 and haven't had this issue with any other shoe brands, but these were definitely a half size too small and also very narrow!

They seem seem too light for me: not as well made, constructed as I prefer.
