I've been wearing the Nimbus for about 5 years now and these shoes are really pretty, however they are much heavier than previous versions. The color and style looks great as well as the fit, so I really wanted to keep them but couldn't get past how heavy they felt so I've returned them. Probably a great casual shoe but not for running in.

I ordered the wide width and they do not feel like they are wide at all. I had to remove the innersole in order to gain feeling back in my feet.

I'm a night nurse, and have purchased the Asics Nimbus model for years to use for work. So, it was very disappointing that the gel insole on the Nimbus-22 is not as comfy as it used to be. At first I thought that I just needed to break them in, but I've worn this pair for at least nine 12-hour shifts, and the gel insole still feels stiff. Also, I did have to go up a 1/2 size (8 to 8.5) due to the smaller toe fit. I purchased two pairs of the Nimbus-22, one for work and one for the gym. I have used my pair for the gym at least eight times for at least one hour each time during cardio and weight training with no big issues. My only complaint would be the same as above with the continued gel stiffness versus the usual comfy cloudy bouncy feel that I'm used to with the Nimbus model. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this specific model unless you prefer a stiffer insole and need a smaller toe. And, I would not purchase this model again unless Asics goes back to the original construction as the late teen models. :(

Even though i ordered wide, they are very narrow. They are not true to size, i am a 9, ordered a 10 but next time will have to get 10.5.

These were too tight initially. I wore them one day around my home to break them in and got blisters. They would not accept of return due to my wearing them. I was able to losen the laces, a lot, and they are fine now but my last pair were nimbus 16 and there was a lot more room in the toe it seems. These will work but lesson learned. Try them on at a store because the design has changed and you really can't return anything, even if wearing at home.

Runs slightly small and narrow...especially at the toes.

Unfortunately, I sent them back. Not enough room in the toe box, even though I went a half size up. The heel box is great.

Runs very small. Wide width fit smaller than other ASICS. Love the ASICS Kayano but can't find them in wide width. Went up a half size.

Love the color and the look; however, expected more cushioning. To be fair, I only wore these around the house and didn't give them a proper chance to break in; however, found them a bit too stiff for a Nimbus.

They're just okay. I've now owned the Gel Nimbus 17, 18, 19, 20 & 21's. Also, I've owned the Gel Venture 4 & 5 & Gel Kayano 22s.... NONE compare to your Gel Nimbus 17's. For the love of God, bring back the 17's. I still break mine out from time to time & wear the because my feet are disappointed in every other shoe. And they are yeeeeeeeears old. As far as these Gel Nimbus 22's.... "Meh - just meh" & I absolutely am terrified that the fabric is going to tear. I get that folks want ventilation, but this mesh/lace stuff is way too frail. Anyway - I've owned Brooks, Nike, Puma, Converse and everything in between..... your Gel Nimbus 17's have ruined me for every other gym shoe and that makes me sad. Please design your next Gel Nimbus with the 17 as a template. Natalie Mason -

I'm a walker. My feet slip in these. I bought inserts that helped a little.

This shoe runs very small in size! I wear an 11 and I could barely get my foot in this shoe.

I have a narrow foot. Since they changed the design to all stretchy fabric on top they do not have enough support for me. The older Nimbus version 17 fit me much better. Bummed I lived the color but sending them back.

I've always worn GEL-Nimbus shoes but these are wider in the toe. I've already worn them so can't return but I can't run in them either because my foot moves too much even with thicker socks.

The cushion in the heel Is not soft enough. I have plantar facilitis. ASICS has really changed their shoes.

These shoes are sized differently. I've been 8.5 in ASICS for 5 years continuously and this pair barely fits length-wise.

I like the look of these shoes. But it's a little narrow in the toe box. I have not wore all day yet at work but it felt there's a good support on the heel area.

Like many others, I had worn ASICS for years and loved them. Unfortunately, I had to give away the last pair and return this pair because they were just too narrow in the toe box area. They also felt stiff. I am disappointed because my "old" ASICS fit beautifully and were super comfortable with gel soles in place of the original soles.

I had to return these shoes, they run small and narrow. I ordered my normal size but couldn't even get my foot in them. I'm sad that I had to do so. My last pair of Asics were true to size and wore like iron.
