I work in a powerplant and am consistently moving around. I loved how well the hips and thighs fit with stretch. But to get the hips and thighs to fit, the waist is too large so I wear a belt. Not a big deal but after wearing them for less than a month the inner thighs began to wear down and pill up. On top of that, the zipper broke and lost the bottom stop piece. When I do wear them, I have to realign the zipper to close it and sometimes it falls down/breaks open again anyways. It's a shame for how comfortable they are!

I don't need FR but am on the hunt for a work pant that stands up to movement and dirt. I need to give my jeans a break. Unfortunately in order to wear a size of these that fits my booty and thighs, there is a huge waist gap. This is my life. Still hunting if any curvy girls out there can help a sister out!

I have been working for 8 years for companies that require I wear FRs daily. These hands down fit the best out of any other FR pant or coverall I've ever owned. They have the perfect leg size to waist size for my body (which won't be the case for everyone) and I don't even have to wear a belt! They are a great thin material that I can easily maneuver in them (unlike EVERY pair of FR Jeans I've ever tried and I've tried every major FR brand out there). The downside? The inner thighs wore out insanely fast. I have 2 pairs and wear each pair on average 2days per week and they both thinned and within 2 months (so after < 20 wears). Within 6 months they were completely worn out and I started wearing shorts underneath (because I cannot afford to replace these every 4-6 months). While I plan to get a new set in the new year, I am very sad that it will be with the knowledge that they will wear out in 6 months. I know the women's FR market isn't exactly a bread winner for Ariat, but I would seriously appreciate them considering either toughening up the inner thigh on these pants or else making a Jean that is built to these pant's exact dimensions. All their other FR jeans just don't fit me like these do. Anyways, all that to say, I love these pants, I do recommend them, I just wish they could be improved slightly. If you do get them, consider patching them early before they get to the point I let them get to (see photos). Thanks!

I've owned many of these pants, I love them and hate them. They are thin and comfortable, nice for summertime. That's why I keep buying them. But they only last about 2 years before the material wears too thin to wear wherever it may rub, like in the thighs. Now, after less than a year, the zipper broke. This is the first time this has happened, but for the price they should last longer. The stop at the bottom of the zipper is gone so the zipper comes apart. I have a safety pin holding acting as a stop. Ariat has been great in the past with warranty of their merchandise, and I hope they will again. And please add a pocket to the left side! I will pay the increased cost to add more material! These are work pants, we need pockets (plus I'm left-handed).

I've already addressed this with customer service, but figured it may carry more weight in a review that's visible. Ariat was the *only* company who carried FR women's pants down to a size 00-0 (24's) and I have had two pairs of the 24's for the last year that I've worn until they have holes in the pockets. During this time, I had been trying to convince my boss to order these for our work uniforms. He finally agreed, and I went to place my order to discover that the 24's have been discontinued completely. It is extremely disappointing to be a woman trying to get into the trades who wears a relatively normal size and they just do not exist. They are great pants otherwise, the side pockets are nice. Material wears fairly quick around the pockets, but aside from that they are very comfortable.

Pants are very comfortable except the fact that less than 6 months in between my legs have holes. Very disappointed because I like the pockets on them.

As a single woman in the oil industry I don't have money to throw away. I've had these jeans less than 4 months. In that time the back pocket has frayed. The material in the inner thigh has lint balls. And now the zipper is coming apart when I sit. Now I routinely buy my clothes 2 to 3 sizes too big so I can layer since I work in Alaska, so I know it isn't because they are too tight, nor do I wear then every day, only every sixth day. Not worth the price I paid. Just would like to get a quality product made for women who work hard.

They are not made for women's bodies. Too tight on the hips and too loose at the waste. They are stretchy so after a days work this issue is worse.

This the the worst site I ever order anything. If I would not have an amazon zappos at work account I would never do that.

This fit was amazing and I really liked the pants. Unfortunately the zipper broke after only three uses and I've passed the return window since I only go to site once a month to wear FR. Total waste of money. Don't recommend!

Not a true fit these are way smaller. I order a size up from what I wear in FR jeans and I should have went 2 sizes up. I'm returning them for a refund.

I loved the pockets and the initial fit and quality of the pant at first. However, I have three pairs I cycled through for work in the equine industry. All are now wore out, within nine months of use. It said in my account they are not eligible for returns, even though they had high price tags on them and all three pairs are wore out in less than a year. I found tactical pants I am switching to for a cheaper price and more durable fabric than the Ariat canvas fabric. Quite unfortunate, as a bunch of other work gear I own is Ariat and holding strong. The pants just are not made for durability in the workforce I am in. If there can be khaki pants in a more durable material, that would be much appreciated! I like the brand and products. Just these pants need improvement.

Completely disappointed in my purchase experience. I followed the size guide and double and triple checked my measurements and the size I received is so large it's hanging off my body. I wish there was more information or guidance on selecting the correct size for these very expensive and hard to come by FR pants. I can't go to a store locally to get these pants, and now I'm hung out to dry since I need these pants for an upcoming work trip and the 2 day expedited shipping time is not enough for me to place another order in a different size. Very disappointed in this experience!

Verified PurchaseReview for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Much too big. I ordered a 26R (I'm 5'4", 122 lbs), and this is my normal Ariat size. Not even close. The fabric was so rough (I was expecting rugged but not uncomfortable; Ariat is always big on comfort). I couldn't wait to get it off me.
