I'm new to Birkinstocks. These were cute but very stiff. Maybe they get more flexible with wear? Anyway, they are too "bare", just don't cover enough of my feet. My personal preference, nothing wrong with the sandals. I'm returning.

I wanted to love these as the footbed was so comfy and the leather nicely broken in. BUT the staple where the top buckle attaches to the strap rubs directly on my toe. No way to "break it in", no way to change it. So, back they go.

Cute and comfortable. More feminine than most Birkie’s. The soft footbed is worth the extra money and adjustable straps is super helpful.

Finally found a pair that is awesome for my bunions. My feet are a half size difference so the one is a little short but next size would be way too long. The shoes are very comfortable . I love them!

The size was fine but the width is very narrow for my foot. I take a reg. width but in this style maybe a wide.

These were far too narrow and too long. I've worn Birks before. It feels like they are making the foot bed much narrower. The color is so pretty. I am really disappointed.

No, just no. All of the buckles are ridiculous.

Material, style and color excellent. But Not comfortable for my foot.

I like the soft footbed - comfier day one than their traditional. I ended up returning because they were too narrow in my mid-foot area.

The straps were SO long that they hung on the ground and because they were Nubuck they were softer than oiled leather and rolled up. They looked dumb. My feet are not very "deep".

I wanted to love Franca especially because they have the soft footbed but alas, they weren’t comfortable for me.

Pros of Franca Soft footbed: Love the style; supportive; comfortable arch. Color is pretty. Footbed seemed soft but still firm. Cons: color didn’t go well with my skin tone ??; felt a bit short in length (maybe need to size up to the 39 from 38; and although my big toe had sufficient room, my other toes felt like they were crammed or wanting to hang off the front of the shoe (my big toe is my tallest toe FYI). Had to return but if there was a nice color in my size, I’d try again! About me: 7.5-8, EU 38-39, 24.1 cm. Normal width (rarely wide). Delving into shoes with arch support as I’m beginning to get plantar fasciitis. Likes: slip ons or sling back styles and some modest-mild height because I’m short. I am a travel minimalist (1-2 shoes), so always on the lookout for the shoe that is stylish, comfortable for tours or even mild hiking, can transition from day to night/ beach to dinner, and doesn’t scream grandma. If you have that shoe, lemme know.

I'm new to Birkenstocks and trying to find a pair that feels comfy and look ok. I'll accept ok looking. This pair looks good, but they don't look good on me. The faded blue color is really nice. But the leather straps are oddly very stiff and difficult to buckle. I really can't comment on size, as I haven't owned any of this brand yet. Unfortunately, I will have to return these along with the other pair I tried. Too bad for me!

The color was not as bright and clear as pictured.

Toe area a bit bigger than older 37 Birks. Double strap overlap bothered my bunion. Sad. Like the style and the way the strap holds your foot down at instep.

Eh, I wanted to like these more than I did. I love Birkenstocks and own many pairs/styles. I thought these looked cute, but in my opinion they were cuter in the photos than in real life. I couldn't see this in the photos but they have a little V-shaped piece underneath where the two straps crossed that maybe looks better (or even not noticeable) with other colors, but I didn't love it with the ones I got (faded aqua). Returning them to just get more colors of my tried and true Birks (Mayari and Gizeh).

Cute sandals! The straps rub on my foot and its a bummer as I have already worn them outside. And they are expensive at $135!

I never wore them. I tried to love these because they are really pretty, but they are just too big and not even close to a size 5-5 1/2. Why are there so few size 35?

I loved the color and style of the franca but it felt terrible. The worst thing are the metal staples that are on the inside of the straps which rubbed on my toes. The fit and quality is not the same as the birks I used to buy. I have a medium width foot but the wide width was barely wide enough. I was going to try a different style, but everything has those metal staples because the straps are not lined. I had to return them.

I wanted to love these shoes and I do love the style, but the 9s were enormous and the next size down felt too narrow in the mid-foot area.

They fit and the size is good. The problem is they just won't stay on my feet.

Fit was fine, size was fine. The footbed is very nice. However, the straps are not comfortable. I'm hoping they'll break in, but even loose, they rub on the top of my foot in an uncomfortable way. This is a first for me with Birks.

These fit, but I didn't care for them. The leather was extremely stiff and the placement of the straps was unattractive on my high instep. The color, sandcastle, was also less sand/cream, and more the color of a bandage. I'm super pale, so it looked terrible.
