I got the blue, which is a lovely, understated color. They fit very nicely. They are not technically narrow, but they fit my B width feet better than my older, wider berks. So far so good. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so I can wear them more often, but my few test drives have gone very well.

I have a problem area with my left foot, so sandals are my go to as long as it’s warm enough to go out w/o socks. I was happily surprised by the comfort these sandals provided. 5 stars! Perfect! Pretty too!!

These sandals are so comfortable. The leather is soft against my feet and the footbed is supportive. Love them.

Received another pair, the other one was defective. This pair has little bit of defect as well, but tired of sending them back. The color is too light, would of been little bit darker. They are stiff.

I have had several pair of Birkenstocks (my fav being the Mayari), but these were on super sale and I wanted to try something different. My first soft footbed, and they are really are softer and cushier. I also have never had a pair that are true leather (nubuck) and they did take a bit more to break in - vs my Mayari that are felt (??) on the underside of the strap. those I could walk 5 miles in straight out of the box, but these Franca nubuck took about 2 weeks of wearing to break in and feel comfortable. I love the color - the orchid nubuck is a little less vibrant than I thought it was going to be. Or maybe it just looks more neutral on my foot than it did in the picture. I do like the white/cream sole, it looks like a little more feminine and springy than other darker ones. Overall, I still love them and wear them often, it just took more break-in time.

description said it was soft foot bed but it is NOT

The nubuck is stiff but I’m hoping it’ll soften with use. Aqua color is nice. It will go welll with most of my summer clothes.

I've loved Birkenstocks in the past but my aging feet no longer find these comfortable even the "soft" version.

Style is nice, love soft footbed BUT I ordered the size you advertised as for 8-8.5 - 39 but it is a full size too big. 8-8.5 should be 38. Hoping to return for the smaller size

This shoe ran about a half size too large for me. Also the buckles were really hard to fasten. I don't know why but this pair of birks seem cheaply made to me. Not happy overall with this shoe.

Received worn without original box, defective butketnstock slippers. Sent a review with an additional photoes, but seems like Zappos never posted. It's should not be a problem. Honest reviews would help others and zappoes to improve the customer service & satisfaction.

The sandal I received has an obvious defect. The sandals were not packaged as if they had never been opened before, so I assume they had already been returned at least once for this reason. Huge disappointment as they are now out of stock in my size in faded aqua.

I so wanted to love these! A new sandal, looking forward to Spring. A carrot on a cork-lined stick! Sadly, that double strap & buckle combo, right over the pinky toe, was a no-go. Also, the bottoms of the sandals were genuinely slick & unsafe, even trying on in my home. I'll stick with my well-loved Velvet Grey Birk Arizona.

The fit and sizing of these sandals are perfect! I bought them very last minute for a trip to Michigan, including lots of walking on Mackinac Island. They needed no breaking in and were so comfortable out of the box. While I would have liked to choose one of the more "crazy" colors, this shade of leather is neutral and goes with everything.

These Birkenstock's felt comfortable from the outset once I had adjusted the straps. I expect them to become even more comfortable and adjusted to me feet once I haave worn them for a while.

Perfect fit and soooo comfortable! I wear a size 7 or 37 in most brands and wear a 37 regular width in Birkenstock. I have found Birkenstock sizing to be consistent from style to style. This is a great brand if you have high arches or are dealing with a foot injury like Plantar Fasciitis. Just be aware that they come in regular and narrow widths which is depicted by an icon of a foot (outline for regular width, filled in for narrow width) on the box and on the footbed.

Fit true to size, cute pink color

The shoe was too large, and I am sending it back for a smaller size. I love the shoe!

Bought for my Daughter as a gift and she absolutely loves wearing them. Style is perfect for dresses or shorts.

Birkenstock sizing is consistient. Good cushioning & arch support. The underside of the straps can be a little rough. Love the color- excellent neutral.

Had the chance to try a Birkenstock mule on and pulled my usual size (38eu, 8 us), and realized that my feet were sliding around in them. When I tried the 37, the sliding stopped. I wonder how many years I have been ordering the wrong sizes! I thought I was a size 8 wide, but I'm a 7 wide, and in Franca's case, the 7 fit perfectly. This sandal is wonderful! It was comfy right out of the box, after I set the buckles to my taste. To my surprise, I returned the size 8's, when I thought they were the ones I would keep. I've worn many softbed Birks over the years, so I am glad to have these. Who knew that my feet were smaller than I thought they were?

When we first moved to Phoenix, I realized I needed more sandals. I also realized that I needed protection from the concrete slab on which our house was built. I had never owned a pair of Birks before in my life, but it appeared that the time had come. Since we were in Arizona, I tried the Arizona model. They seemed perfect, and I went through 3 pair before I had a PT tell me that I was developing bunions on either side of my feet. Enter the Franca! Thanks to that crisscross design they leave a little more room for those bones. After wearing Francas for a while, if I put an Arizona back on, I can really tell the difference. This is my third pair of Francas. I appreciate the Dove Gray, a lighter color for the 10 months of summer here in Phoenix. ;-)
