The actual boots are beautiful my wife loved the texture lol and overall the quality but the color is way off from the website they are no way close to the lighter brown color even the blue design on top was off it is a dark almost chocolate brown and dark blue

This shoe for style and look is perfect! I have a skinny, boney foot and first ordered the regular 7.5 shoe. They were literally painful and pressing on the top of my feet so hard it was effecting the nerves. I was so bummed because I love the shoe and the size is fine, it's just so tight. So I tried the same size in a 7.5 WIDE and they were a bit loser but the left shoe was still so tight. I don't know why they make them so tight. I've always worn a narrow shoe. I can't imagine a person with actually a wide foot wearing these.

I bought these boots for my wife, they arrived on time and were beautiful. Unfortunately they were small and they had to be returned. My wife is a size 11, we ordered an 11, but they were a VERY small 11

Absolutely stunning, but run 1-1.5 sizes big. I returned them, and may order a smaller size after Christmas.

Agree with other reviewers on a lot of things: the heels are way too roomy (so much slippage), the blue on the shaft of one color is actually much closer to black and the brown bottom is way darker, the boots are oversized for the measurement guide Ariat has online, and I could see these being tight across the instep if the sizing was correct. Bummer as I really wanted to like these boots. Sent them back.

I ordered this boot in regular but it was too tight in the instep and width so I ordered in wide but the instep was just as tight. The width was fine in wide but not the instep.

The boots fit good. I bought a size 7. However they seem loose around the ankles and bulky around my calf area and slip up and down when I walk. I love the color and design on boots and somewhat comfortable to walk in because of the ankle area and slipping up and down.

The shaft is too narrow at the top, which causes the ankle area to collapse and rub the back of my heel bloody.

Not comfortable, says wide but very narrow. Hurts feet, leather breaks down fast. Already saggy

I really like the durable quality but the process to break them in is, is not what expected. The area around my ankles is the worse and constantly rub and hurt. Even with thick socks on it still rubs when I'm walking. The print and colors are amazing

Sorry but reviews without pictures annoy me. So - These boots - 7 out of 10. These are nice to look at. I am starting to become concerned with Ariats quality control - Has something changed? The right boot was 1/3 of an inch larger than the left. It doesn't sound like much, but it is very noticeable when one foot slips in just fine and it takes me 5-10 minutes to get the other boot on. Because I need a pair of boots to wear every day these will do for now. In the future I will be investing in a higher quality pair of boot, though I used to be a huge ariat fan. Anyways - Size down, or size halfway down. I am usually a size 8 and bought a 7.5. My regular size would've been far too large! I don't recommend these for fatter girls like myself - If you have cankles or fat calves they can be tricky to get into. A bigger size wouldn't help with the ankle / calf issue, since your foot would be swimming in the boot at that point. I ordered wide. I am quite sure these would last the fairweather rider many years. They are an attractive pair of boots for the cost - I like that the gold is a little bit more toned down when you get the actual boots in person, and if you love a darker oil they're a lovely color. I ride and use them everyday so I am hopeful they'll last me at least another year or two. Pros - Looks Cons - Quality You be the judge! Happy riding.

I'm honestly really disappointed not just with my purchase, but with Ariat entirely. I've purchased 3 new pairs of boots, not including the one pair that I returned, within the past year. None of them held up, so they clearly don't make these boots like they used to. The sizing is off, a bit big at the heel, and if you order half a size down then it just crunches your toes. So it's going to make it more difficult to walk in, let alone ride horses. These boots that I just bought have that same sizing issue, although not as bad as the last pair I ordered and returned. These boots are darker in person than in the photos, which for me is fine because I prefer darker leather, but other people may be unhappy with that. They're pretty boots in my opinion, though. My biggest issue with these is that I received them and supposedly they're brand new, but they came with scuff marks all over the boots. Specifically, one over the front of the boot that looks like a crease mark from being worn some. I called customer service because it's not fair to make me pay full price for boots that look worn. They wouldn't offer me any portion of my money back, just said all they could do is a return for me. My current boots are full of holes and I can't afford to wait any longer, not to mention finding boots in my size (9C) has been a real struggle this year as not many boots offer a wide width and the handful that do are out of stock and have been for quite some time now. Overall, I've always been a huge Ariat supporter, but I think I'll be looking at different brands from now on. Ariat just doesn't care about how their boots are made nor about their customer satisfaction at this point. This brand just isn't what it used to be. It's really disappointing because they used to be so good. Giving 3/5 stars purely because they at least had my size and the boots are pretty aside from the scuff marks. Ariat, please, do better!

Bought these boots and within two weeks of wear a scuffed circle appeared....the thin leather was gone on this particular spot. I would be extremely careful in buying this product. They are comfy but not durable. Have taken them to shoe shop for repair.

The picture represents the boots color and size very well. The boot runs long and the part of the boot that presses on the top of your foot and is too low and very tight. It hurts. These were the 3rd pair of western boots and I have had the same problem with all three. I was hoping that a larger half size would help, but unfortunately it did not.

These boots are comfortable but after less than a year of having them the boot ripped out from the sole. I'm very disappointed with how these boots held up.

By looking at the picture online of these boots, they are definitely not trie to the color. I was expecting a blue upper and these are black or very dark gray in color. I'm very disappointed. I can't return this pair. I need them due to an event honoring my father this weekend. He's being honored posthumously for his years of helping kids learn to ride horses, and being a huge part of our local saddle club community. I feel like online pictures should reflect the true color of items listed.

I've had these boots for a year. The leather on the side of foot area is cracked and splitting badly. I'm going to have to replace them already.

I've previously gotten Ariat Fatbabies and worked in them with no problems for 5+ years, but when I put these on they were so comfortable that I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, after riding in them for less than an hour, the color on the shaft is already rubbed off. For boots this expensive, I'm beyond disappointed. If the embellishments are going to rub off this easily then that needs to be clearly stated in the boot description, because I never would have gotten these if I'd known how quickly they would be damaged. I could have spent half the money on boots that would last years and still look good instead of days. Just all around frustrated, but if you don't care how your boots look or don't plan to actually work in them, then these are at least comfortable to wear.
