Got email they were in stock. Ordered them immediately and then got an email saying my order was cancelled because they were out of stock. Very frustrating.

I wanted to love these shoes but they were not for me. I usually wear a size 8 and had to size up to a 9 in the Hilos.

Ordered this shoe in wide. Tried it on and was sloppy - too big. Regular width would have worked. Tried to exchange the shoe for Regular width, but it was sold out.

They aren't the canvas fabric that we expected but a nylon. Kind of look like slippers but he says they're comfortable.

The style of the HiLo is great, but now the fit has narrowed and they feel too tight, rather than super comfortable, like they used to be! I know this because I bought the exact same pair--HiLo of same size and width but a different color--less than 1 year ago. I wore that pair almost every day, but now I avoid the new, more narrow pair bc they put painful pressure on the tops of my feet. And it was only after I wore them around town the first day that I discovered this--and of course, they're soles are street-soiled and this typically prevents returning them! I won't buy this style again, and I'm also wary of further shoe purchases with Ariat overall.

Like the comfort, look, and fit. Delivery was great, communications were easy. However disappointed with design of tongue. When sliding your foot in, the tongue collapses, doubles up underneath the top of the shoe, requiring removal and holding it in place as you guide your foot in. Not ideal.

They are comfortable to wear. Don't like the laces. Wish they had a better way to fasten without the laces, but better than a slip on.

Unfortunately, the patterns didn't come close to matching on the shoes, to the point i couldn't bring myself to wear them, and I returned them. They also seemed to run big.

The product is great I just couldn't get the one I wanted, said not available so I ordered the mens, same shoe, in the size I always order when I buy a mens shoe. It was like two sizes too big so I returned. Returning was excellent, no fees, very easy! I gave up on ordering them.

Ordered EE but definitely are not close to an average EE width. Returned for that reason only.

Pictures show shoes laced up but not tied. That's the style my son wanted. Unfortunately, the shoes have to be tied in order to wear.

They hurt the top of my foot. slightly to tight. This may be able to stretch some.

Look great. They are fairly comfortable but the heal is very rigid and rubs the heal. Hopefully they loosen up as they wear in.

I like they way these shoes look, but there's a rib that cuts right across my achilles tendon that makes them uncomfortable. I still wear them, but only for short periods of time and never when I am going to be spending that time on my feet.

Nice shoe, good looking. Insole is not removable so I can't replace them with my orthotics.

Ariat needs to stop gluing the inserts to the footbed of the shoe!!! JUST STOP!!! This is my second pair of Hilo's and they're a great slip-on and they're comfortable, but not being able to remove the inserts is ridiculous.

Why even bother putting a fun/bold graphic pattern on your shoe if you can't be bothered to align it consistently when you make the shoe?

When new they were great. After 3 months of using them 90% of the time as driving shoes the leather looks 5 years old and the soles are showing considerable wear. When driving they get tight on the top of my foot and are not comfortable. I did order a pair of Buckeye's and i hope they are a better quality.

Got the heathered Smoke/black and it doesn't even look like the picture, it's more of a light grey/silver than a dark grey

This is my third pair of Hilo shoes, but these are far different than they used to be made. The back of the shoe is not reinforced like the other pairs were, so they don't hold their shape and collapse whenever they are put on. The material on the tongue is much thinner and constantly jamming underneath the laces. Disappointing compared to how they used to be made.

Like the colors but too cheap of an shoe for what I had to pay for it! Not impressed at all. Could of bought the other brand for lot less for the same quality/style of shoe. This is not Ariat.
