I haven't tried the cushion version yet because it's too hot, but they feel like the same great quality as the no cushion pairs. I'm looking forward to colder weather so I can try them! (Did I just say that?!) #sweepstakes

Great for hiking. Foot doesn't slide around inside shoe and just the right amount of cushioning. A bit big at first but perfect after washing.

I wear these socks for running and walking. They are by far the best I have purchased from anyone. Not only are they very comfortable but the heel does not slip down even after many washings.

Every day or exercise use. Comfortable and well make.

Very comfortable. Medium weight so not hot Can wear for 2 days before laundering (ie, they don’t stink after 1 day) Wash in cold water and air dry. Dry in 2-3 hours.

As a kid, my dad used to make me wear wool socks in the summer when we went hiking and I HATED them. Always so prickly and HOT. But SmartWool has changed my life. No blisters. Not hot.
