Great cushioned sock. I have wide feet and tend to wear only low cushion socks as all cushioned ones so far have made my shoes feel tight. Wanted to try a cushioned sock for a little added comfort and I'm glad I tried these. They gave me extra cushion and minimal bulk in my shoes. These socks are so comfortable, with just the right amount of cushion at the toe and heel. They stay in place and work well with my everyday casual shoes. I prefer the ankle height with my hiking shoes to better protect the front of my ankle from the tongue of the shoe. The targeted cushion on these socks is like walking on air! They are well made and very attractive. They are roomy in the toe area but are comfortable and supportive. They do not slip when walking. This will be your new go-to running sock. They are very comfortable, hugged my ankle perfectly and stayed in place throughout the various activities I used them for. I have worn these to the gym, while taking my dog for a walk, running errands and at work where I am on my feet all day. I am looking forward to the miles I will get out of these training for my half marathon this summer! The targeted cushioning prevented the dreaded foot fatigue I can sometimes get if I am not wearing appropriate socks for extended activity - and they do all of this without smelling (you have to appreciate the antimicrobial properties!). These running socks are so comfortable! The extra padding at the heal caused a nice cushion for my foot and all allowed them to feel great in all sorts of shoes. It's still light weight. Washed it and dried it, and it still held its same great shape. Because it's wool, it wicked my sweat and didn't give me cold toes outside. The sizing chart is accurate! #smartwoollove

These are five star socks! I love to use these socks during my trail runs. The merino wool keeps my feet comfortable, cool, and happy. I don't notice any itching or discomfort whenever I wear these socks. The socks don't slip nor feel too tight around my arch. I think the sizing is true to size. These are definitely my go to socks.
