Firstly, I love Sam Edelman and have several beloved pairs from here. I just purchased these loafers and LOVE the style of them and was so excited to wear them. I however was immediately greeted to some extreme blisters and bloodied heels to the point where I had to ask my fianc to bring me another pair of shoes at work because I seriously couldn't walk. Any advice on breaking these in or avoiding blisters? I love them so much and the fit feels so right, just so much friction on the stuff heel!

Nice , stylish and expensive looking, the downside is, the sole is a little harder than usual so it is not that comfortable for long walks. But still a good buy if you will just use it when you will not walk a lot.

I recommend getting some gel heel patches to put on the inside of the shoes before you wear them as they do really rub against your heels and it is painful. The gel patches made them much easier to wear and no problems! Shoes also start out a bit tight, but stretch with wear and are perfectly comfy now! They don't feel too heavy, but feet do slip a bit when they get sweaty. Love the style though and they are comfy now just had a few kinks in the beginning!

They loosen up a little as you wear them. The color is more brown than I expected but I don't mind it.

Yes these are pretty stiff and hard to break in. I used moleskin for every use I've been wearing them for two weeks. I would recommend doing that to save your heals. No blisters as of yet. Also, they crease horribly. But that's to be expected due to material. Besides that these shoes are it. They are so cute in person, and can wear them practically with any outfit. LovE lOve

This shoe was so cute! Beautifully made, stylist and a bit edgy. Just what I wanted! I bought 6w and it fit perfectly! There was a little problem however that caused me to return the shoes. It's hard to tell from the online photos but the sole of this shoe extends approx 3/8" beyond the shoe so the shoe "walked" like a 6 1/2. I kept catching the toe. After wearing them around the house on the carpet I decided to send them back.

Definitely a comfortable shoe as long as you size up or wear socks- very cute!

I love the look and everything but it is pretty uncomfortable - it hurts my pinky and feels to stiff.

I really love these shoes! And feel like I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. I do feel like they run a bit large though.

These are beautiful shoes . Great leather and comfortable sole and insert. However the heels slip bad. They actually pulled my socks off. Working in them was miserable.

I love the style of this loafer. My one concern is that the leather is quite stiff and requires a lot of breaking in. The first time I wore them I did get blisters. They are the right size but require some time to get used to.

They are so cute but make sure to size up and wear socks! I got the worst blisters from this one

The shoes are beautiful. However I have a narrow foot and the shoes are much wider that I thought they would be. I would recommend going a size down if possible for my skiing feet people

I bought these shoes about a month ago ad wore them for the first time, as others people have written they really rubbed my heel. I next time I'll try them with socks hopefully they won't be so uncomfortable.

Beautiful but very stiff. I would buy wide if you have anything other than a very narrow foot.
