Had to return them because they wouldn’t fit my calves. I searched for wide calf and they came up in the list. You have to read every detail. Other than that they were super cute. Had a soft insole. I would have kept them if they fit.

I wear 8.5-9 - I am 5’7” and I have slender calves.I got these in size 9 and they fit well. These boots are gorgeous in the cashew color and I love the uneven cut on the top as well as the overall design of these boots. They are cut for average size legs below the knee. For me , they would have been a perfect cut if more narrow thru the ankle and calve area . However , they certainly aren’t too wide and they don’t slouch. They are a very nice looking and comfortable casual boot. I do not think if you have very muscular legs these boots will work for you. While I wouldn’t say they are slim cut - they are definitely more average and not too wide.

The fit was spot on...I was just unsure whether I needed a 7.5 or an 8. I tend to go either way, in most dress shoes I am 7.5, in boots I can be an 8 at times. This 8 fit like a true 8, which was just a teeny bit too roomy for the type of socks I would wear with them. If you are somebody who only likes to wear thick socks with boots and you can be between sizes, I'd say go with the larger size. If you are like me and tend to wear tights or more of a trouser/thin sock with boots of this style, I'd say stick with the smaller of those sizes. I also have a smaller calf circumference...so I enjoy that these boots are not huge along the calf (a little big but I do not look like I am wearing rain boots).

This is a very nice boot! I returned it for two reasons. At 5 feet 4, it seemed that the boot was just a little tall for my taste. It didn't bother my bunions though. The second thing is that the purses I was going to use with them had gold tone details, and the tan boots have a silver tone logo and zipper. It's not that big though. I did really like that the heel and outside sole appear to be some kind of rubberized material. I thought they were leather. It's hard to wear a leather sole when I live in a place that is snowy or wet 75% of the time. There is some texture on the bottom too.

I wear an 8.5-9. Purchased a 9. Good fit with room For a sock. Love the cashew color !! Very well made and attractive on. I have thin calves, these are made for someone with average calves , but they still Look good and aren’t baggy. If you have muscular calves , these probably won’t work. All in all a very stylish , well made beautiful boot.

I really loved this boot for its beautiful details, especially the hi-lo top. The color (tan) wasn’t my first choice for boots but it’s still a nice neutral color. I read a few other reviews mentioning that these would be hard to maintain if you live in a really snowy area because they have leather soles. I decided to go with the pansy boot instead. The fable boot definitely looked weird on me. I have kinda big feet 9/9.5 but my ankles and calves are on the smaller side. This boot in a 9.5 was so baggy around my ankles it just looked ridiculous. I thought about sizing down to the 9, but I purchased the Pansy boot in a 9 instead. The pansy has a more suitable sole and fit better in the leg. For me, the fable boot just didn’t work but I recommend this brand. The leather on both pairs is so smooth and the materials like the zippers are great quality.

These boots are beautifully designed and straightforward without any buckle s, fringes, or other accoutrements. The leather is supple and boots are well made. The fit is true-

These boots are cute but they were too small on my feet and calves. I have wide feet but not large calves.

Lovely boots just not for me. I have big feet and they felt clunky to me. The fit was true to size and leather beautiful.

These boots are incredibly beautiful and comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return them. I have had many knee length boots and have never experienced a boot that was too tight on the calf. However, with this boot, I was unable to zip the boots all the way up without pinching on the calf. I wondered if they would actually loosen up over time, but did not want to take the risk. So, be aware that the top of the boot might be a little narrow.

I was sad that I had to return these boots but the calf was way to wide. I don’t think the description indicated that. What happened to small calf to regular sized calf boots.

I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2. I ordered an 8 1/2 and these were huge! Didn’t like the ankle fit, too wide. Also tried to get on board with the angled cut at the knee but it just isn’t flattering. Pretty color and will be pretty on those who can pull it off!

Very cute boots. But the heel was wide inside the boot and the shaft was too tight. I tried with leggings and tights and it was uncomfortable.
