Beautiful sweater that fits me well.

I'm a plus sized lady, and I immediately fell in love with this sweater in mint only to have my heart shattered when seeing that it was not offered in plus sizes. I typically wear a 2xl, but I noted several reviews stating it ran large, and decided to take the chance on ordering this item in a more neutral beige XL. I was so happy after receiving it that it fits! Although I ordered a size down, this is a heavy weighted item and it does seem to stretch itself out a bit while wearing it - so it seems a bit larger than I really need. No issues there from me as I would rather have my clothing a bit baggy than tight and showing my motherly mid section. I'm quite tempted to purchase the mint in addition to this beige one as I have come to love it. I'm not sure I need two cable sweaters, but the color may just entice me enough to get it anyway. Overall, I do recommend this sweater, however, consider sizing down one, possibly two sizes(if you like more form fitting clothing).

I am absolutely in love with this sweater! The weave pattern is beautiful. 100% cotton!, no synthetics - it breathes. It's a tight weave, has a weight to it that transfers to pure warmth when I wear it. I'm 5'9", sleeve length and body length are perfect for me. The side zippers are a nice finishing touch but I can't see using them. With skinny jeans and my leather knee high boots, what a great fall look!

This is the second one I have bought. Two years ago I bought this sweater in the cream color and this year in the burnt orange! Love wearing this sweater with jeans and boots/booties or leggings. Long enough to cover my backside, works well with a turtleneck underneath for extra warmth as it is cotton. This is my all time favorite. Thinking of ordering it in another color! I constantly get compliments while wearing this one! Enjoy!

I love this sweater!! The fit is perfect. It hangs perfectly on you. Not too boxy, not too fitted. The little zippers are adorable. The quality is excellent.I love that it's not an itchy sweater and the weight is perfect. Not too heavy, but too light. It feels like something I'll have for many years. I worry maybe I should buy a back-up just in case!

I bought this in red and LOVED IT !!! You can easily see the quality when you take it out of the package. I also love that it's all cotton I have excema outbreaks in the winter and cotton clothing is a must for me. Can't say enough about this sweater. Buy it. You won't be disappointed!!!

I own this sweater in the shorter length that Bean still sells and wear it frequently throughout the fall and winter- but now that I am 6 months into my pregnancy, the shorter length no longer covers what it needs to cover. Pleased with the quality of the sweater that I already own, I bought this sweater for the longer length and (according to the other reviewers) the more generous sizing. I ordered this in my standard medium and it fits beautifully- with room to spare! The other reviewers weren't kidding about being able to order down a size or two from your standard size (for ladies who aren't expecting, that is!) The length is perfect, with plenty of coverage (and room) for a growing belly. I'm quite happy with this purchase. Thank you, LL Bean!

I haven't had the opportunity to wear the sweater due to it being summertime. I did try it on when it arrived. I had to buy a medium because I have abnormally long arms. The sweater is heavy and appears to be well made. I am pleased with the color of the sweater. I had also purchased one in the color red.

I got this sweater for Christmas last year and have worn it many times since. It is extremely well made, but does get baggy with more wears between washings. The instructions do say to dry flat, but if you want a more fitted look that doesn't look frumpy, I dry mine in the dryer and medium to medium high heat. I bought the beige color and noticed some discoloration on the neck, one of the cuffs, and on the inside of the sweater as well after a few times I wore it. I think it's from makeup and tried to get it out, but it did not seem to work. Thankfully, it's not very noticeable so I'll keep wearing it. Additionally, I also wear a small in most LL Bean tops and jackets, but easily and comfortably could've gone down to an x-small due how the yarn stretches after awhile.

I've been looking for an off white cotton sweater forever! I found this and liked the looks and sale price - even though it was not off white and gave it a try. Oh my. I love the Cocoa color, substantial weight and fit. I have ordered from FB's other random sites, but L L Bean never disappoints. Now I am waiting for the off white to pop up! Fingers crossed!!!

I have this sweater in almost every color ever made. I absolutely love it. It is a heavy sweater, but since it is cotton instead of wool, It is fine for NC winters. I like that you can dress it up or just be casual. I get compliments every where I go when I wear one of these sweaters. Now my complaint is that the new color doesn't come in the XXS. Not sure the reasoning behind that, but there is no way I can go up a size. Please reconsider this decision because I would LOVE to have this sweater in the Mint color.

I loved this. The workmanship and quality show. Fits true to size. It is a pretty heavy sweater so perfect for cold weather. I am glad I got it on sale as the cost was a bit high for me otherwise, and I have had my eye on it since previous visits to the store.

I love this sweater and have gotten lots of compliments when I have worn it. I ordered it in Navy. It fits well and has a real classic look.

I am 5'7" and weigh 150 lbs. I ordered a small based on reviews and it fits perfectly. I normally wear a medium.. This is not a soft sweater. It is heavy cotton, but that is what I expected. You will want to wear a button up or turtleneck under it. The neckline just doesn't look right without a shirt underneath and while it is not scratchy it just isn't a soft feel on the skin. . Based on the clearance price I paid I am very happy with the purchase. I think it is overpriced at the regular price.

This sweater definitely runs big. I normally wear a SM-MD and based on reviews, I ordered size XS and XXS just in case. This sweater has a LOT of room in the midsection. The XXS fit best in that area. The only problem with the XXS, is it lost in length and looked more like a normal sweater. The XS gave me a slight tunic look (not overly long) and just looked overall like a better fit. The XXS midsection fit better, but the XS wasn't bad. I am just hoping it doesn't stretch out of shape as some reviewers have stated. It is a beautiful sweater (I bought the cocoa brown color), but do size down. Especially if you are thinly built.

Amazing weight . Perfect to wear with leggings, I usually order a large from LLbean and I wish I ordered this in a Medium... The COLOR of the Coca and the Red is so beautiful.

I'm really happy with this sweater! It's a substantial weight but doesn't feel overly bulky. The cabling is BEAUTIFUL. I got it in the beige/cream color and it's beautiful. It looks just as pictured, and I find it flattering (I went for the smaller size so it would be somewhat fitted, but it still isn't tight. I'm a 34C and it is fitted and flattering but not form fitting, if that helps. I might think a layer underneath would be a little snug in the sleeves at this size, so if you want to wear it with a layer underneath and you are between two sizes, go for the bigger one). About reviews that have said it is itchy - I think it's more like it isn't a soft/cashmere fabric, so if that's what you want, this isn't that kind of fabric, but I've been wearing it with no layer underneath and it's not uncomfortable or scratchy at all to me! I love this and would recommend.

A very substantial cotton knit that keeps it's shape and works all year around. Runs one size large, so keep that in mind when ordering. I'm usually an XS at LL Bean, but I needed the XXS for the perfect fit.

I love this sweater! I was looking for something nice, but on the casual side to wear for Christmas with my family. When I saw this sweater in the store, I almost didn't pick it up because of the price, but I'm so glad I did! The cut is flattering, although this is a bulky sweater. It has washed well (cold water, dry flat) and I've worn it several times already.

I bought this for my mom as a gift and she loves it. It's a classic, high quality, wardrobe staple.

I love this sweater! I was looking for something with the look of a fishermans sweater without wool - This sweater is it. The zippers on the side add to the look. My sweater has washed very well and I look forward to getting another one.

I bought this sweater in cream last year and loved it so much that I bought it this year in a different color (gray). Easy to clean and keeps its shape.
