Loved the shirt! Until I washed it, as directed. It shrunk! Very disappointed.

Sadly, the Angus plaid I bought 4 months ago has disappointed. The tailoring is still good, but the flannel has got little "pill" balls after only a few washings and is no longer soft and cozy. I've been wearing this flannel shirt for years in different plaids and still have some from 8 years ago that actually look better. Please go back to better sourced fabric.

I love the shirt but I always wear a M however this seems to run a bit small. Is it because I expected it to fit more loose. I'm still trying to decide if I want to exchange for a L.

Pros: Shirt is soft flannel and I like the weight of it. Colors are attractive.
Cons: Wish there was a wee bit more room in the chest area. Pattern does not line up at the side seams. Now I see why none of the online model pictures are a side view...

This shirt was short in length. It fit more like a petite. The red is a muted shade, not bright. It's a basic flannel shirt.

Originally ordered XL based on size chart. Pulled at buttons so shirt returned for 1X which also pulled at buttons so I will wear it open with a tank top underneath.

Arms are short. The fit is boxy. I am a true petite but this didn't work for us. I bought three matching shirts for our holiday photos. Unfortunately two will be returned.

Once again, I sought from Bean actual garment measurements by phone, ordered according to what measurements were given to me and found them not in accordance with the garment received. I know I took down the measurements given to me exactly, but am left with a shirt two inches shorter than I was told. Bean needs to offer on its site actual garment measurement so it cannot claim a customer made a mistake when ordering, Simple as that - CUSTOMER SERVICE!

My wife says the shirt is looser than she likes them. They went to a relaxed fit and are too big

The color and weight of the flannel shirt is nice. I was disappointed in how the flannel looked after it was washed. It has a sort of a fuzziness to it. The fir was also very nice

All cotton shirt laundry instructions say NO ironing. Why can't to iron a cotton shirt? Looks untidy to me without ironing

Not as nice as my old one from Bean. I take a size10-12 and this was a medium. Flannel is lighter and fit is certainly not relaxed. Would not purchase again.

I love L.L.Bean products. This shirt fit perfectly when I wore it the first time. I washed it in cold water, gentle wash. It was hung to dry. I didn't want it to shrink in a dryer. Well, it did shrink and is tighter. Disappointed.

Nice soft shirt, but it is pilling after two washings. The fit is good.

Love the pattern, and love the fabric, but I don't love the fit. I love a good flannel that is comfy cozy but I found these "relaxed fit" shirts to be more of a women's fit with a cinched waist and tighter sleeves around the arms which makes rolling them up more difficult. IF you like the more woman's fit cut then you would love this. If you're like me and want a true relaxed fit I would recommend getting the men's flannel because the patterns and the fabrics are still the same.

Love this flannel. I have one that is over 30 years old, but I didn't love the color. Will be ordering in a traditional plaid.

Relaxed fit, beware. High quality and lovely, but the size of a swimming pool.

My regular size but too snug for hot weather. Foreign seamstresses always make sizes too small. Better not to order online. Returned for larger size. Really want camp shirts for summer. Hard to find and weird designs.

I bought my regular size but the shirt was too big. I really liked the shirt but was sorry that I had to return.

I always love LL Bean flannel shirts but they have really missed by not offering the more flattering, fitted fit. Relaxed fit is just too boxy/baggy looking on my small frame. No shape at all with this shirt. Love the color and fabric though.

I love this shirt. "Relaxed Fit" just threw me off. Regular fit works very well for me at L.L.Bean. For this particular shirt I found the medium, my usual size, way too big and the small just a bit too tight. I'm sad this lovely shirt doesn't fit me.

I'm sorry to say, this shirt will gap at the least provocation. After losing 1/3 of my weight, purchasing a size 16 replacement; very disappointed to count six buttons and hands width in between them. Sure the shirt fits great, feels like a hug but when I sit down, the last thing I want to see is my pink belly peaking out.
