An old and cherished friend right out of a plastic bag. Petite sizes are perfect for my 5 feet 4 inch body. My four little granddaughters love the cheerful plaids. Consoling on gloomy days.

I own one of every Relaxed, Scotch Plaid shirt L.L. Bean offers and love them all. They are made of a wonderfully soft, medium-weight flannel and wash and dry beautifully.

This is the second flannel shirt I purchased. The flannel is superior quality for softness and warmth. The colors are vibrant. I probably could have gone down a size to small. However, I do like to wear my Henley Shirts under them as an extra layer on very cold days. They are very popular for good reason!

I have five of the relaxed flannel shirts and love them. We don't have a lot of cold weather in Texas so most of the time I layer a flannel shirt with a t shirt and I am fine. The LL Bean flannel is the softest I've found. The shirts are a perfect length, falling right at lower hip. (I'm 5'7") The colors do not fade with multiple washings so the shirts last a long time. I am constantly receiving compliments on the plaids.

Fit is great. So soft I don't want to take it off! Bought two and considering another.

Purchased this to be used as a sweater around the house and on car trips. Ordered one in red earlier that I wear all the time so needed a second one.

I wanted a flannel shirt that I could wear over a t-shirt, so I ordered a size up. This is a heavier shirt than the Freeport flannel shirt, and I love it. Beautiful plaids. I will be ordering a Scotch Plaid for my husband.

Love this shirt, so warm and comfortable. Read reviews and got petite xs (I am 5', 108 lbs) and it is perfect.

This flannel shirt surpasses all expectations. It is nicely tailored, the fabric is substantial but very soft and the fit is perfect. It's also true to size. Attention to detail with this shirt makes it very functional yet stylish in a rugged sort of manner. It's the shirt you need for every season.

I love the Scotch Plaid Shirts, relaxed fit. They are so comfortable, don't hug your body, look nice, hold their shape, wash well, & are good for cool to cold days. I have 3 of these now & wear them to work as well as out & about. I will routinely get a compliment on them. I am short, however not really petite proportioned & usually get a medium shirt. In this however, I listened to previous reviews on sizing & ordered a Petite Small. It fits perfectly.

I definitely have my share of flannel shirts from various retailers, but the Scotch Plaid Shirt was my first from LL Bean. It will not be my last- and I in fact am totally ruined for any other brand. This shirt is warm, stylish, and excellent quality. Other brands can gap at the buttons across the chest or require immediate ironing out of the dryer. This is sturdy enough to wear without extra care and is super flattering. I considered going with the Petite, but am glad I ordered the Misses size- plenty of sleeve to roll up and long enough to do a front tuck.

Just love love love this shirt. The flannel is substantial and not thin. The shirt is very well made and so comfortable. My only complaint and it is really lame but it has buttons that hold the collar like a mans shirts and I just don't care for that in a ladies shirt but it didn't stop me from giving it 5 stars.

I love this shirt! I've been wearing since I've got it 2 weeks ago, I will have to buy another one since this might wore out faster so I will have a reserve for next year!

Bought one to try and just ordered another one. Medium weight. Soft flannel. Two buttons on cuff to adjust and button down collar. Ordered one size up so I could layer. Well made. Dark rich colors. Plenty room to move without binding. Would buy again.

I have purchased several of these over the years and I love them. I wear a small and it is a tad full through the hips, but it gives room for a turtle neck underneath. I spend time in Colorado, so they can almost be worn year round. Very soft and comfortable.

These flannel shirts are top quality. I have been buying them for years and they last forever. I have them in every color. The sizing is generous and they're great to layer with LL Bean's waffle knit henleys on those really cold days. They wash well and I do put them in the dryer without any shrinkage. I highly recommend these shirts!

I love LLBean Flannel shirts. I am 5'1" and the petite, Small fits so great. The sleeves are a good length and not to long. The shirt is cut in a feminine style. And they wash and wear great. I just tumble dry and hang right up. Love these shirt.

I love this shirt as a layer over the long sleeve Bean tee. It serves as a jacket without being bulky. I have one relaxed fit and one slightly fitted; both work well but the relaxed is better for the layered use. These flannels are the most comforting fabric ever, wash well with minimal shrinkage and look even better with a quick ironing afterward. New plaids are always welcome!

I bought this design last year and bought another this year. I love the relaxed fit and the fabric is so soft and requires little to no ironing....

I used to steer clear of flannel shirts because I'm normally too overheated to wear clothes specifically made for warmth. I decided to give it a try though and LL Bean was my first choice. That was a good decision. This is easily one of my favorite shirts. I'll eventually get them in the other colors (at least another 2). It is a warmer shirt (duh, it's flannel), but it's not too warm in the winter weather. I'm a fan of the relaxed fit because I can't stand having to buy a bigger size if I don't want something to cling to me. I would highly recommend this shirt, if you're looking for a flannel.

This shirt is made of very high quality material.I love the color I chose (Buchanan). However, I purchased the XL thinking that it just might fit since it's "relaxed fit" rather than fitted. Well, it didn't fit and I have to return it, but I love the shirt anyway. Wish it were available in larger sizes.
