Good, old-fashioned, soft, thick cotton shirt. Plenty roomy for shot or long sleeve tee or even a light sweater underneath. I bought 2 and I'll probably buy another. Don't put this shirt in the dryer, tho! They do shrink a bit. Hey, L.L. Bean, can I return the shrunken one???

This shirt pleases me so much. It's warmth, softness, pattern, fit and construction are what I was hoping LL Bean would deliver. I better order another as I need one to wear when I wash the first!

I love LLB's flannel shirts and particularly the new option of "relaxed fit." I live in them all through the Maine winter - cozy, warm and comfortable.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter - she loves it. Keeps her warm in those Vermont winters. Washes and dries beautifully.

The flannel is very soft and cozy. It is a bit heavier than other flannel shirts which adds to the comfort. Every time I wear it someone compliments the choice.

I bought two of these at the beginning of the fall and loved how comfortable they were and how they came out of the dryer without needing any ironing at all. I wear them over a tee shirt or on their own, and sometimes tucked in or sometimes not. I enjoyed them so much that when they went on sale after Christmas, I bought two more!

I chose this shirt for the beautiful colors and flannel for the warmth and comfort. I really would like to wear it everyday - I intend to purchase more of this style, the fit is flattering on an XXL woman.

I've purchased other flannel shirts but these are by far the best. The fabric is high quality and washes beautifully. I purchased the relaxed fit because I wanted to be able to wear something under it but I usually just wear it without. I usually wear a size 12 but I ordered a large to endure the arms weren't tight. It fits perfectly. It has room but is not sloppy. I primarily wear it around home but it's nice enough for casual days at work as well.

Beautiful,very warm. Everything seems to be slightly fitted from LL Bean these days, this is relaxed fit but not as relaxed as I would like.

Bought XL to use as a layering piece, a jacket/shirt, and to allow for any possible shrinkage when laundered. Works perfectly these cold January days with either a sweater underneath or one of Bean's interlock turtleneck jerseys. I now have three of these shirts, so I am comfy.

It's everything it was cracked up to be, warm, soft, and comfy to wear! I love it! And the price for it was good.

I've already worn and washed the flannel shirt. I've always loved the flannels we get with L.L.Bean and this is no exception. It is great, feels good and washed excellent. I highly recommend it.

It is often difficult to find quality flannel in women's shirts. The men seem to get all the good fabric. But LLBean has a winner with the Scotch plaid collection. This is my fourth one and it won't be my last. The fabric is soft but sturdy and the colours are flattering. You can't go wrong with this shirt.

Classic color and patterns are my very favorites for flannels and sweaters. I have several of your flannels with the button-down colors in a Stewart style (black, red, and grey). I bought one updated shirt in Princess Mary, and this flannel seems softer and a bit thicker than the previous versions (in a good way). Princess Mary is even lovelier in person (subtle, deep colors). Very pleased with the quality too. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs., average-to-slim build, and the regular medium is a just-right fit. Not tight, but not too baggy. Thank you, LL Bean!

This flannel shirt exceeded my expectations. Thick, soft flannel. I'm petite but chesty. The small fit nicely across the chest, but was not baggy anywhere else. Color on Wallace plaid is vibrant.

LLBean gets it right when they said this flannel shirt has a relaxed fit. I wear this alone & with a tee shirt underneath & still comfortable. Love it.

This is a comfortable relaxed fit shirt. It works well alone or with layers. It washes up very nice too. It is easily my favorite go to shirt.

I love the LLB Scotch plaid flannel shirts and this makes my fourth, bought during the recent sales promos. The others are all in the slightly fitted fit which I much prefer over the relaxed fit (personal preference, so still 5 stars). However, the Graham of M. plaid wasn't available in the slightly fitted in petite sizes. (LLB, please offer all patterns in petites in both fits!) I was afraid the misses regular would be too long, so I ordered it in the relaxed fit petite. This is a looser, straighter fit without any darts and might be better for wearing over a layer if you are at the upper range of your size. The quality is the same in both fits with the plaid matching perfectly on the front and with symmetrical sleeves. I like the collar without the buttons in both fits, also the double button cuffs that can fit smaller wrists. The shirts fit true to size on me, and the sleeve and overall lengths are good. There is very little shrinkage when washed in cool water and dried on delicate cycle. These are soft and warm shirts in great colors. Just wish all the plaids were available in the slightly fitted style in petites.

I have several of these Scottish plaid flannels and I love all of them, both with a button-down collar and, the newest ones, without. When the fall catalog came I saw a beautiful blue and green plaid but it was for men. When I purchased this style later, I wrote a review praising the traditional colors available for women and added a request for Graham of Menteith for women. Not long ago I checked the choices again and there it was! I am wearing mine as I write this review. Thank you so much at LL Bean. Now, could I get Graham of Menteith in the hooded style?
