Well made, as I knew it would be from L. L. Bean. Yes, I will recommend to a friend. The robe is a little short, and it would be better if it had a fuller wrap in front. I purchased a small and I saw no place to get it longer. I am 5' 6 and 3/4" tall and weigh 107 lbs. I live in Denver.

The sleeves and the robe itself are both long enough. That's been nearly impossible for me to find. The fabric is soft. This is the only robe I've ever bought that I actually wear every day.

It is so very comfortable and soft. The more you wash it, the softer it feels against your skin.

My wife LOVES IT! So much that when she left her old one at a hotel, she HAD to have a new one!

A little oversized which I like. I am tall and it reaches to my ankles and is roomy around too. Flannel isn't thick but is a perfect cozy layer. Very soft.

This robe is super soft and comfortable. It is rather lightweight so it isn't very thick. It has a roomy fit. I wear size 8, medium, and it it is generously perfect. Its a nice warming layer.

I bought this robe to replace the one I've been wearing since 1997 which was my father's robe. He had his robe since the early 70's. They are comfortable, warm and I wouldn't wear any other robe.

This Scotch Plaid Flannel Robe is comfortable, soft and warm, without being too heavy and bulky. It is roomy enough to fit pajamas or a nightgown underneath, and meets my needs perfectly. The Indigo Tartan Plaid is lovely, with deep rich colors. The robe laundered beautifully and came out of the dryer just as soft as new. It exceeded my expectations in all categories.

I'm very happy with this robe. It's a soft, lightweight flannel. It's warm enough to transition to fall weather, but probably not warm enough for cold upper midwest winters. Generous fit and ankle length.
