I love these nightgowns and have been wearing them for years. The flannel is nice and soft and the fit is ample. Although I love pockets in almost everything, I could do without pockets in a nightgown. It makes it a little bulky and I generally wear a bathrobe when I am out of bed (also from LL Bean) and that has pockets. But, this is a minor complaint.

I ordered four of these. The flannel is very soft. I thought the natural would be too plain, but it is beautiful. Waiting for one on backorder. They are expensive, but worth it. I ordered the Petite medium, because I wanted it big and comfortable and to allow for shrinkage. The small would have been fine, but I am happy with the medium.

Have purchased these nightgowns over many years and they all launder well, fit well, do not pill, are soft. With many washings they do lose their super soft original nap but that is to be expected. Length is long which is what you want in a flannel nightgown intended for colder weather. Will keep buying them as needed.

This is the second plaid flanel nightgown i've purchased. The first one lasted many years.

Good quality material, comfortable nightgown I wear 6 months of the year. It's long which is why I ordered petite, being between petite and medium. Fits perfectly without dragging on floor

Roomy and warm. I am 5'1 in and these come almost all the way to the floor which I like!

Bean's nightgowns are simply the best--well made, great fabric, flattering design (pintucks), and wonder of wonders, pockets! They are very generous and roomy, so you might want to size down a bit.

Warm and comfortable. Washes very well. Great to sleep in.

This is my 4th one. Every few years I add one more. They don't wear out, they just get better:) Hope they never discontinue them.

POCKETS!!! So thoughtful to include pockets to keep tissues handy when you have the sniffles, or cell phone, etc. Such attention to detail sewn into soft flannel: win-win!

I found it to be of excellent quality, so good in fact that my wife informed me she didn't want it because I gave her the identical one for two Christmases in a row and they were still in really good shape. I'll give it to her next Christmas...

Finally! A flannel nightgown in Petite sizes! This one is lovely, with a soft feel and drape. And, unlike regular sized nightgowns, no tripping over the hem. It's just right for my 4'11" frame. I've purchased two more.

My wife loves it! The flannel is a very nice weight. The nughtgown is well made.

The last of my L.L. Bean staple nightgowns was completely warn out after too many years. But I never dreamed the 2025 version would be better than the original. For starters, it has deep pockets. And the flannel fabric is thick and warm in classic and modern plaids. The nightgown's cut is full and the length is longer than I remember. The sleeves are just right but not so tight they can't be pulled up to the elbow, and the placket front is easy on and off, even with my glasses on. This was the one thing I asked for from my sons and husband for Christmas. And I didn't get it; instead I got two cheap itchy polyester nightgowns. My husband conceded in January and I got what I wanted. Since then, I sometimes wear it night and day. It's been a real old-fashioned winter in Maine!

This nightgown is just as comfortable and the quality of those I purchased more than 10 years ago. Those are still nice with great color and quality.

Very pretty nightgown. Soft and warm, great for New England nights. I own this in several different plaids and plan to buy more.

Love it. Very pretty. Very warm. Flannel is super soft. I like the neckline..you can either button up or leave it a bit open...I live in a cold climate so the ability to close the neckline was important to me.
